Ive had a family emergency pop up. I will be gone for about a week. Feel free to puppet my character

Just a heads up, I will be gone on vacation from now until Sunday afternoon.

Kaidan in my first play through, Garrus in the second. I love Tali, she was my space BFF in both playthroughs.

Here's another question. I've always played with a female Shepard. What about you guys, did you play as male or female?

Even though she's behind a barricade Halar's massive frame sticks up like a giant target. She decides her best bet is to keep mobile. The living tank starts moving south while firing on the large Geth

Evasive maneuvers time. I want to say she ends up on J16 but I might have that wrong. The side coordinates don't match up on the map so I just counted rows. By my calculations that puts the geth prime inside her shotgun range.

Mods: +2 defense for being on the move. Incendiary Ammo active. I don't know if Geth catch on fire but I sure hope so >:)

first shot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16damage: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
first shot: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6damage: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5

2/4 on her clip. The shotgun does 1d4 damage to creatures in a 10 foot spread around her target. Do you want me to do separate rolls for that damage or just go with half damage from successful attacks?

EDIT: I forgot, her first shot wont be withing range for the Prime. I adjusted it.

Did Enira and Mallene kill any of the geth? I know Halar goes third and I'd hate to shoot something that's already dead lol. Should we be calling targets out? Also, are we going to say that cover stabilizes my guns? I think it still counts for me but I also think it'd be hard to do consider they're on my back. I wanted to check before I added it in

Halar roars at the Geth, a sound an old human once described as 'the angriest tea kettle in the universe'. She pushes herself up and makes for the barricade at top Elcor speed. "Yes Sir!"

As we're mixing it up in the gameplay thread I'm going to turn this back into a discussion area.

I've never had a GM before that recorded audio for a game before. It's very cool, it adds realism. I'm tempted to record audio for Halar. If only to practice my cool Elcor impression lol

Halar rolls her head, her neck popping with an audible crack. She caught a lucky break; all of her equipment's in good shape. Working gear gives her back her confidence. She speaks with usual Elcor detachment. "<musing> They may have gotten away. Or they could be like us, in one of the <air quotations> 'safe' parts of the station. Hmm. We could get lucky and contact them."

She waves a large hand at the refugees. "<with conviction> Right now these people are our priority. They're civilians, they're not equipped to deal with potential boarders or a broken station. And we all need a way off this floating trash heap."

Halar pushes herself up into a sitting position. She starts running a system check, hopeful that her weapons survived...well whatever just happened. just in case electronics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Well darn

"<obvious stress and concern> What is going on? Where exactly are we?"

+1 for 'gorram', a word I use on a regular basis

Halar takes her place at the back of the line. She shifts so she has a clear line of sight to Mallene. "This should be interesting" she thinks. The salarian in front of her is definitely giving the mercenary a sour look. Halar keeps watching Mallene as she talks. She tries to keep her voice down. <dissaproving tone> That's prety rude. Passing the line and barking at the poor secretary. Do you get a lot of mercs here?"

Sorry, I got sick over the weekend. I'm not exactly sure where the last 3 days went lol.

Halar notices the tension around her. "Hmm. Something weird here. That bartender was kinda nervous too. Add in how much they pay security...yeah there's something more going on." She turns the offer over in her head. After a few minutes she gives a mental shrug. "Eh. I'll probably have to crack a few skulls. Pay like that's worth some trouble." Firm in her resolve, she strides towards the barracks at a faster clip.

Sorry, I should have clarified, she wanted to hear the answer to Secundus' question. Always good to know just how vicious a potential boss is.

Halar finishes her drink and exits the bar. She decides to take her time; no sense having everyone arrive at once. She looks around the station as she strolls along. If she's going to be a guard she should get an idea of what the locals are like.

Halar sips at her drink and waits for the bartender's response.

Halar should be fine as is :)

Halar sips at her drink for a minute, thinking. 600 credits a shift? There has to be a catch somewhere. But, with that kind of salary...if she's frugal...she could save up enough to travel for a time as just a tourist. A nice vacation from lifting boxes and smacking heads together.

<query> "Who is in charge of hiring security? This job sounds...interesting"

"<curiously> How good is the pay for station security?" Halar realizes she's butting in on the conversation so she nods to the other participants. "<explanatory statement> The last job I worked payed so low it was like a volunteer postion. I could use some credits."

Halar strides across the docking area with a feeling of joy. It took three months but she finally hitched a ride out of the Faia system. The Viantel-Zorya-Hito cargo ship she'd been working on had, in a word, sucked. Being stuck working as a common laborer/the ship's go to "Oh, this is really heavy, get the Elcor to lift it" was bad enough. Throw in a planet full of condescending, self important Blue Suns Mercs and the worst allergies she'd ever experienced and you got one of the worst jobs she'd ever had. Working the tiny transport ship to the Ursa was a relief. Even if the pay had been so minuscule she was now officially broke.

The bar catches Halar's eye. After a moment of hesitation she decides to go in. Broke she may be, but she deserves a drink.

"<with great courtesy> Excuse me, coming through. Pardon me." she says as she pushes through the crowd. Over the years she's come to appreciate the fact that most species can't read Elcor body language. It's kept her out of a multitude of fights.

Halar finally makes it to the bar counter. She tries not to push up against the Turian next to her as she flags down the bartender. "<with a polite tone> Give me something strong but cheap."

Enira, where did you find that picture? That's awesome!

Thanks for catching that Secundus!

Halar's more close combat than ranged. Though there are heavy weapons where you definitely don't want to be within blast range! I fully support Enira having a sniper rifle

Halar would arrive on her own

Halar refers to herself as a freelancer. She's adventurous and enjoys traveling to different planets. To support herself she takes odd jobs, mostly on cargo ships since she then gets free passage to somewhere new. Halar generally works as a guard or a mechanic, although she'll take almost any job as long as it's not illegal.

Shockingly enough I'm going to focus on focus on making the Elcor Living Tank into a Tank. I'm going to keep growing her skill with shotguns and heavy weapons and of course getting her better armor. I'm going to keep up her skills with electronics/repair too. She relies on her weapon mounting for combat so she's gotta be able to repair/improve it.

Here. Going to clean her up before Sunday!

<with great sincerity> Thank you!. Some of that was stuff I should have caught myself but oh well. She's updated. :)

In thinking about it I reassigned some of Halar's stats. With the way damage reduction works you were totally right about boosting her dex. Her main need for STR is carrying capacity + weapon usage and I think she can get by just fine with 16. I got her dex up to 11 with that stat point I missed. I'm shooting for at least 12 because giving her a dex bonus is good for fun and profit.

Bless you for doing the credits math, I fail at that. I've swapped her equipment, she's going shotgun/pistol.

Question for the GM/whoever knows the answer: Are we using the trait system? If so I'll get her some traits. I'm going to whip up her background tomorrow.

Alias has been made! I just need to plug a couple more things in and she will be good to go! There is a sad lack of Elcor icons in Pathfinder, they really should get on that ;)

Hit Points: 2d10 ⇒ (1, 8) = 9= ouch.
