Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

I am here, but honestly I doubt very much this is going to happen.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"This is getting stranger by the second" - Hagrin grumbles, following the others into the kitchen.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Sure man" - Hagrin hands over the note - 'Stay clear the Echo Woods. This girl is your first and only warning - he snorts - "Bah"

So... How's the girl?

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Can't say" - Hagrin replies.

Untrained Heal to check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Agreed!

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Best of luck Tom-GM.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

In the meantime Hagrin peruses the note.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Gods damn this..." - Hagrin goes into a defensive stance, looking around him.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

If he finds no immediate threats, he grabs the paper and picks the girl in his arms, taking her to the others - "Guys... I don't know if she is alive or dead..."

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

As apparently Antonian didn't hear him, Hagrin shrugs, getting up from his seat and looking for someone to serve him a drink - "Fine. I'll go look myself" - he grumbles.

Tom-GM, is there a bar or something similar where someone 'should' be serving drinks?"

Tom-GM-Spire wrote:
Smiling at Ravena, he nods. "Best to be getting through the gates before we raise too much suspicion. I've got a writ that'll get me back inside the walls."

"So, no time for a drink I guess" - the half-orc stops dead in his tracks, looking over his shoulder at the others.

Nisany Blim wrote:
Sighing, When she saw you a pink haired girl ran into he back.

At those words, Hagrin decides to take a peek out back nonetheless - "Hello? Anyone here?"

Is the inn empty?

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

"Never heard of her" - Hagrin pipes in - "What kind of reward are we talking about?" - he adds with a smile, looking around - "So, no one comes to get our order?"

Antonian Caravas wrote:
"Everyone alright out here?" he asks, his keen gaze seeming to take in every detail.

"I think he's good Antonian" - Hagrin nods - "Think you can find someone to bring us some drinks?"

Changed the event order there a bit to keep things moving Antonian. And we are supposed to know each other already so ;)

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Let's do that" - Hagrin agrees, keeping watch in case any of the three decides to come back to settle the score.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Scare's done then - good job" - the rogue sneers - "You can go now"

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"You heard the man..." - Hagrin growls.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

We go? :D

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin skulks.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin might shrug it away, but that's just because he is not a very nice guy :D

Doesn't mean he wouldn't be interested ;)

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin is here, lurking in the shadows... :D

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

The grin on Hagrin's face crept back in as Nisancy followed him - Dang, sneaky that girl, even with the green hair and all - he thought to himself with a chuckle, throwing a wink at his gnome companion.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"That's a sight for sure" - Hagrin grumbles under the pouring drizzle - "But looking at these walls" - he added with a chuckle - "I'm not sure if it is better inside or in the rain..." - his words are cut short by the scream - "See? What did I just say?" - the half-orc grumbles, drawing a dagger from his bandoleer, and skulking in the shadows towards the direction of the scream.

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin now has an updated profile ;)

The half orc is light on his feet, but still muscular - his clothing and leather armor are worn enough, and clearly dusty from travelling and perhaps more than one scuffle - multiple daggers hang from a bandoleer across his chest, and a sling is casually tied at his waist. The backpack looks heavy, but the multiple straps seem to keep it firmly in place.

He seems to wear a constant sneer.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Going slo-mo on the weekend - lots of family time ;)

I'll have the full profile set up later today.

By the way, decided to go with Hagrin as name (formerly Hargrenz) - hope that is ok?

Good to be on board!

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hello everyone, I would like to let you know that I will not continue playing this game with all of you.

It is with a lot of discomfort, and a sense of having bitten a lot more than I can chew that I realized I cannot keep up with all the games I am currently involved with - I think it was maybe a 'noob to the boards' attitude that got me applying to way more games than I can actually keep up with.

PbP, even more than other games requires commitment, and players that can keep the game going forward - unfortunately I cannot be that kind of player for such a massive amount of games, so I will step back and allow someone else to step in, someone that can be as proactive as this game deserves, as well as the others, with an actual rich and valid contribution - that is the stuff RPGs are made of.

I want to offer my apologies, and vow I will not fall into the same mistake again. I have learned my lesson, even though I harmed the games I am currently leaving... I hope there will be a chance to play again wth all of you, in a fashion that actually allows me to 'play and participate' as I should, honoring the effort from the other players and GM.

All the best to you.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"I thought there was treasure down here" - Hagrin smiles.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

I think Mirage is right - David should be at -1 or something like that, no?

By the way, I didn't roll the pot.

CLW, assuming CL1: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Seeing him fall, Hagrin moves towards David, rummaging through his backpack and feeding him a potion to restore some of his health.

I believe it to be a full round action - pouring the CLW pot down David's throat :D

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

RL is like that Wolf - I had two midterms this week, so I know how it bites.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

That's a LOT of saves...

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin moves down the stairs, following the others.

Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

And dashes madly away.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

How are we doing this guys? One going down at a time? Or more than one climbing down simultaneously? How much weight can the rope take? Maybe two?

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

I was thinking that the 29 was to actually find the trapdoor (it could be concealed somewhat in the room), and that the trapdoor itself had not been examined. But if it has, its all good.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Phew... That is a LOT of loot. I guess we can skip prying the gems off the walls - just sayin' :D

Lets leave the warlockin' outside of the goblin tribes - I'm just thinking on what is best for them ;)

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Give me just a second to check it for traps" - Hagrin offers, crouching next to the rig.

Taking 20 on perception for 29. If any traps are found, that is another take 20 on Disable Device for... 35

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"It is a little more complicated than that Mirage" - Hagrin pipes in, standing up, still groggy, and looking at Arsil.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin nods and motions to leave - "Are you coming?" - heading outside looking for Mirage and David, to inform they have reached some sort of agreement - "We should be leaving soon" - he adds.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Guys, apologies on the hold up - my youngest is sick, and it has not been easy bringing her back to her usual kick ass self.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin's eyes dash around, trying to understand what happened to his blades in this place made of illusions.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Arsil/GM:

Hagrin looms protectively behind Arsil, his hand casually on the scimitars at his hip, motionless and without a word, trying to puzzle all this while at the same time watching the woman on the bed, and the ones he has left behind.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

I certainly do :D

Not as graceful as he expected, but still Hagrin is able to navigate the crowded stairway. As he faces the last one, he decides on a different approach, dashing right, then twirling to the left and ducking under her grasp.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Got a little confused there, the Perception roll is for Mirage only? Or for all, and Mirage notices it automatically?

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Hagrin begins to think that there may be something more to all of this, apart from simple lust and beautiful bodies, and he tries to go for a nimble move to elude them, and proceed upstairs.

Escape Artist 1: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 = 13
Escape Artist 2: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 6 + 2 = 19
Escape Artist 3: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 = 13

Meh... +2 is from the Elixir of the vicious leopard, if it works here.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

Hagrin smiles at the provocation - "Nice try ladies, but those cheap shots don't even make a dent" - winking at one of them he proceeds upstairs and after Arsil - "Thanks for all the touching though - it was pleasant" - he quips.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Arsil, I don't like this - you should not go alone" - Hagrin pipes in, even if he is distracted with the surrounding 'sights'.

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

"Someone around here likes Dragons" - Hagrin smiles with a jest, almost breaking into a laugh at Mirage's words.

All the while he carefully observes their surroundings.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18(<- Do we take half damage?)

In spite of the negative energy backwash, Hagrin is able to stand his ground.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

"What now then?" - Hagrin asks matter of fact to his companions, as he cleans his scimitar from the gore.

Status:
AC -> 22
HP -> 27/26 (before negative damage above)
Effects -> Elixir of the vicious leopard + ambrosial food

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

My condolences for your loss Wolf - I never really know what to say in these situations so... Hang in there as best as you can...

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Round 5

Hagrin also presses his assault against the large doglike creature.

Attack with Crane Style and Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 7 - 2 + 1 = 25
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 7 - 2 + 1 = 19
Additional damage if it crits: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Status:
AC -> 22
HP -> 27/26
Effects -> Elixir of the vicious leopard + ambrosial food

dm are you using the crane style errata? If so Gagarin you might want to change your feat

Don't even get me started - a grown man crying is not a pretty sight...

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Not bitten yet ;)

Hagrin presses his attack as he notices his companions being bitten time after another.

Attack with Crane Style and Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 7 - 2 + 1 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Status:
AC -> 22
HP -> 27/26
Effects -> Elixir of the vicious leopard + ambrosial food

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

@GM Wolf: True, will do so next time ;

Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Round 3:

Hagrin grits his teeth as the dark energies flow over him, but stands his ground, again trying to maneuver to an advantageous position against the remaining dog.

Hagrin will again try to look for a flanking position, if it is possible to do so without risking an AoO. If it is not, he ssimply moves to attack the second dog.

Attack with Crane Style and Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 7 - 2 + 1 = 10
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Status:
AC -> 22
HP -> 27/26
Effects -> Elixir of the vicious leopard + ambrosial food

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

Well, the map question was to avoid stuff like that AoO. And yep, that is what I meant = 31/26 :D

AoO: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 7 - 2 + 1 = 9<- 11 if flanking

Attack with Crane Style and Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 7 - 2 + 1 = 13<- 15 if flanking.
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Status:
AC -> 22
HP -> 31/26
Effects -> Elixir of the vicious leopard + ambrosial food

Half-orc rogue (unchained, scout) 1 - HP: 10/10

We don't have a map yet, correct?

Hagrin moves in to attack also, trying to find a flanking position with either Arsil or Mirage.

Attack with Crane Style and Arcane Strike: 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 2 + 1 = 23(+2 to be added if flanking is possible)
Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Status:
AC -> 22
HP -> 26(31)/26(31)
Effects -> Elixir of the vicious leopard + ambrosial food
