Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Tinn attempts to stab one of the guards, but fails to connect with him. Firetongue lashes out with a firebolt and misses. Suddenly a loud noise can be heard from the cell to the west, causing all the guards to turn and stare for a moment. The sound of metal ripping out of stone. A deep voice bellows out. "Grumblejack wanna smash little 'uns." Round 1
It's a secret: Strength: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
A search of the cells reveals one other occupant. Behind the large doorway you find the form of an ogre. As you search, he grumbles as quietly as an ogre can. "What you little 'uns doing?" It's obvious from the horns on his head that this ogre isn't a normal ogre, but rather the tiefling variant of one.
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
The giant Toad avoids Beatrix swing, eyeing Bostarg as a possible desert when Grumblejack connects with the creature, dealing a great blow to the toad, felling the creature. With his weapon in it's back, the toad drops to the ground, Alazandaru's unconscious form falling out of it's mouth. Survival DC 15:
The toad's tracks could be followed back to it's lair. Dice: GvLT 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (17) + 6 - 2 = 21 GvLT D 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Grumblejack the ogre comes towards the toad, the battleaxe in hand and brings it down towards the creature. "Frog taste good, Grumblejack think big frog taste big good." The toad dodges the ogres attack, but not before Alazandaru is able to move forward and sink a dagger deep into the toad, causing it to croak in pain. Beatrix comes in with her greatsword, not accounting for the creatures leaping ability. The toad's dodge from Beatrix brings it coming towards Alazandaru, where it attempts to engulf him in a massive bite. His bite strikes true, bringing the rogue into it's mouth, a sickly sound as it slurps him up. Alazandaru takes 12 points of damage and is grappled by the toad. Inish

Grumblejack puts Blackerly's body down for a moment and goes to the central gate. He starts by pushing against it, seeing if that will open it, but to no avail. Realizing this, he begins to charge forward into the doorway (putting Bostarg down for the moment), and finally the gate loudly cracks open. The ogre moves on to the next gate and continues with the same. His task completed, he lifts Bostarg back onto his non bruised shoulder and takes Blackerly's body back up. Beyond you see a final bridge crossing away from the prison. One lone guard stands there, nocked bow in hand. He bravely stands before you for a moment, "S-stop right there, in the name of the King!" Turning to look to either side, he realizes that he's alone. Grumblejack takes 20 on both.
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Adjusted the map. Hearing Bostarg's words, hearing the calls from Haruk, Blackerly once again tries to break for it as he realizes he has no quarter. "Noooo!" Grumblejack raises his weapon as the Seargent runs but misses the strike. The Seargent is 8 squares north of current position. Inish

Grumblejack, seeing the Warden, comes into the tower, a rage in his eyes. "Grumblejack remember you. You little 'un mean to Grumblejack. Feed Grumblejack bad food. Now Grumblejack make you feel hurt." The fear in Blackerly's eyes is obvious as the Ogre strides towards him. Grumblejack raises his club and strikes at Blackerly. The blow is barely deflected by the seargent.

I'll go ahead and post for Kalina to keep things moving while she's away. The guard dodges the blow from Cain as Price unleashes an attack against the guard near her, both not quite connecting. Gwyn draws another dagger in preparation to strike while Xanos readies a spell. Grumblejack the ogre steps forward and unleashes an attack against the guard near Price, but doesn't manage to strike him with the doorway blocking his aim. Kalina moves up and strikes as well against the northern guard, dealing a viscious blow. As the new round begins, Gwyn, has moved up to flank with Xanos against the guard injured by Kalina, finishing the job before he's able to let off a warning. Unfortunately the other guard manages to pull his horn free. Xanos unleashes his spell against the guard, who resist's it's effects. Grumblejack attempts to follow through with an attack as the guard opens himself up, but cannot seem to strike through the doorway. All that is left is Price to stop him from blowing the horn. Price gets an AoO against the guard blowing the horn. Then initiative as listed below. Inish Order

"Grumblejack will go smash dogs." With that the ogre heads to the outside and, seeing the cage with the dogs in it, proceeds to head in that direction. The dogs have indeed begun to bark at the ogre. "Dogs in cage. Open and smash?" Outside the prison, a stone path travels around a fountain upon which stands a statue of Iomedae, sword pointing towards the prison. An inscription upon the statue reads 'Let Justice be Done'. The stone path ends in the large gate that is the entrance to Branderscar prison. Walls surround the prison from your vantage point. At present you see no guards in sight, an unusual fact. The only current source of activity are the barking dogs, their attention focused on Grumblejack. DM Stuff:
Random Fate: 1d8 ⇒ 8 I've put up a slightly different background map to account for outside. If anyone isn't happy with their position, feel free to move it.

"Grumlbejack no understand." The ogre mutters to himself. As he does, he glances at the benches. He drops the club on a table and picks up a bench. "Better club. Grumblejack go first?" As he says it, he continues forward, heading back into the hall and towards the door north.
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
The servant offers no resistance to Xanos as he steps through the doorway. The woman suddenly seems to be off kilter, her mind clouded, unable to continue her task or any other for that matter. Grumblejack takes this opportunity to put his new toy to the test. It seems the ogre has determined that this is the kitchen. "Grumblejack no like food. Bad cook!" He pulls back to swing and unleashes and incredible strike against the man, the club end of the flail striking the man against the side of his face, turning his head clean around. He falls to the floor, instantly dead. The lesson learned, do not mess with an ogre's meal. Yea, he critted. 1d20 ⇒ 12

Going to post for Grumblejack. rereading saw Avrande's action, so moved him up as he indicated. Grumblejack moves into the room, a gleeful smile on his face. "Grumblejack make little 'uns dead for feeding Grumblejack bad food." Double move into room, squeezing through doorway. I'll assume Bostarg is going to continue to hide out of sight for now as stated. Haruk, Beatrix and Alazandaru are still up.
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Luck seems to favor the guards, as our villains assaults thus far have been unsuccessful. Grumblejack attempts another strike with his cudgel, feeling the effects of the wounds he's suffered though causes his attack to go wide. Dice:

Not sure what happened to Haruk, but going to move along for now. I'll assume he's delaying. Grumblejack lumbers forward, cudgel in hand, towards the guards. "Grumblejack smash little 'uns." A cruel smile plays across his face as he beckonds them with his free hand. Initiative Order is:
Bostarg is up with delayed action.
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Grumblejack descends downstairs to the ground level of Branderscar. Going through a doorway, he enters a long hallway ending in double doors that appear to lead outside the prison itself, though still behind the walls. The ogre makes no attempt at stealth, instead relying on the tried and true method of ogre covert tactics, leave 'em all dead. Forcing his way through a door too small for his size, the noise alerts a guard, who comes from a sideroom. The man is not in armor, his only armaments one of the cudgel's Grumblejack himself wields. The guard stairs in amazement for but a moment at the sight of the ogre, before calling out. "The ogre's loose!" Initiative Order is:

His coughts undone, the ogre walks over to the body of one of the guards, picking up his cudgel. "Tiny," Grumblejack mutters to himself as he gives it a wide swing. Taking his undersized armament, Grumblejack proceeds towards the exit. "Want Grumblejack go smash little 'uns with tiny club?" It is as much question as exclamation. Just to be certain, are you sending Grumblejack down and following behind, and if so how far back will the rest of you be, and in what order?
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Assuming Haruk undoes the ogre's chains. As the chains come undone, the ogre begins to rub at it's wrists. "Grumblejack help little 'uns. How little 'uns want Grumblejack to do? Grumblejack go smash other little 'uns? Grumblejack no have club." Grumblejack begins to slowly look around the area for a weapon of some kind.
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Grumblejack's eyes narrow at Haruk's words. "Grumblejack don't know As-mo-dus. You little 'uns help Grumblejack leave, Grumblejack help little 'uns leave too. Grumblejack can't break chains, other little 'uns feed Grumblejack bad food, make Grumblejack weak." Sense Motive DC 10: He seems to be telling the truth
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Peering through the bars on the very large door to the chamber, you see beyond an ogre, chained as you were. He responds to you in turn, his voice lower. "Grumblejack I am. Grumblejack is hungry, smells blood. Grumblejack heard battle, you don't look like little 'uns who put Grumblejack in here. Grumblejack think you hurt little 'uns, maybe give Grumblejack bodies?" Sense Motive DC 15:

Grumblejack gives a leer at Xanos for a moment. "You speak ogre tongue. Strange for human. Grumblejack not speak ogre tongue since other ogres made Grumblejack leave. They scared of Grumblejack, say Grumblejack's food is bad magic, that Grumblejack's horns proof of bad magic. Grumblejack like you, will help and not eat you both."
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Just as a bit of a heads up, Ogres don't have any natural attacks, his unarmed strike deals 1d6 and provokes. In fact you can use Ogre for what you know about ogres in general. Most of this applies, except Grumblejack is abit smarter and more charismatic in general, plus he's injured and poisoned at present. He could use a longsword, but would have a -2 to hit with it due to size penalty.
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Grumblejack whiffs the air. "Grumblejack think you might taste good, better than human. Dwarf needs boiled, tough meat. Human better just after kill, but good cooked too. Elf really good, Grumblejack like elf. Know lots of ways to make elf. But Grumblejack rather leave than eat good meal for now."
Male Devil-blooded Ogre
Sorry, missed that Price. The ogre beyond in the cells goes forth and picks up the dwarf's arm. He picks it up and takes a sniff, before deciding to take a bite out of it. In between bites, he speaks. "The treat is good. Grumblejack is indeed hungry. But Grumblejack don't trust you yet. What you want Grumblejack to do to escape?" The ogre is manacled with a very large set, newer than most seen thus far. Sense Motive DC 15:
