Grimalki nods approvingly at the smoke pile. "I like these guys. They know how to party."

Without much concern as to the potential effects, Grimalki takes a deep breath in, lifting her head up to cleanly blow the smoke out of her nose.

I'm going to use my 15 paradox for this (saving the 18 in case something more serious comes up) which gives me a total of 15, unless this is against radiation, though I doubt it.

New Paradox: 1d20 ⇒ 10

"Sure, I'll do it," Grimalki says with a grin. "Always good to make new business connections."

I’ll take a closer look, and find this substance they are ingesting. And see if they need medical attention.

"...See if they've got any left, too, and if they'd be willing to sell it. Based on the state they're in right now, I'm sure I could get a decent markup."

He lands gently on top of GRIM*!’s shoulders. He firsts tries to speak to the yetis verbally with cheer and enthusiastic body language. If that doesn’t work, he tries to communicate with his limited telepathy. He continues building on the questions GRIM*! already asked. Yes! We are new to this place. We might be neighbours?!

Oud points to himself. Oud. He then points to GRIM*!, then turns his back as a small display of trust to point to Anock and Grimalki to let each of his teammates introduce themselves before pointing back at the yetis. Hoping that they get the gist and introduce themselves.

She reluctantly raises a hand towards the back of the group. "Grimalki."

"They certainly seem like they know how to party." She crouches down next to Anock. "Any idea what they're on? And whether or not they have any left on them?"

"...huh. Not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this," she says, gesturing to the speaker.

Anock is...quite stunned at how scary GRIM*! is when he's worked up. In fact, she nearly wets herself a little bit. *Nearly*, mind you. Not *actually*. She stammers as she responds to his query: "I-I-I'm not physically c-capable of carrying that m-many supplies. Please do *not* wrestle the entire Veskarium on this mission." She manages to banish the sound of fear in her voice by the end, replacing it with her normal imperiousness.

"Yeah, that... that sounds like a bad idea. You're welcome to try, though." She laughs, appreciating the (perhaps somewhat misguided) enthusiasm.

"We don't know what is in this vault, so I really can't tell you what to prepare for."

Grimalki sighs. "Figures. I'll find out when we get inside, I guess. If not before."

"Nice to meet you Grimalkl, of course, it's not live it's just a camera."

GRIM*! pauses as Xylavol whispers something to him

"Oh, that kind of live, no we don't usually live-stream. If you don't want to be more famous than Zo! Like I hope to someday, I can have Xylavol edit you out."

Grimalki nods. "I'd appreciate that, or at least blurring out my face. Publicity is... not entirely good for me right now. Especially if you have an audience in the Veskarium."

A pahtra in a long coat lounges in one of the seats, taking one specifically as out of view of Xylavol's camera as possible.

"Name's Grimalki, nice to meet y'all--that's not live, is it?" She gestures to the camera.

"I have a question, what environments will we be working in? I need to make sure I'm prepared to protect GRIMI*!'s camera equipment and that I bring adequate lighting."

"Wanted to ask that too, any environmental hazards we should know about? Especially with that power source, do we know what kind it is?"

I think definitely a meat shield would be good, especially with Rhyydd probably playing an operative. I've got good ranged options, too.

Thanks for running! Sorry that I wasn't as present as I'd like to have been, I ended up being busy for most of the game period.

"A... ceremony dinner?" Grimalki seems somewhat suspicious at the offer. "Being on this side of things is really weird."

Still, she goes nonetheless, and despite her initial reservations ends up having a good time (although she has absolutely no idea how to maintain proper manners in that situation).

Grimalki takes a shot with her rifle.

Grimalki nods at Sovellis, taking the position he recommended.

At the ysoki's threat against the computer, she pinches the bridge of her nose in frustration. "I'm not getting paid enough for this."

Pockets takes his pistol's batteries out and puts it back in, making sure it's connected right, then shakes the pistol a few times by the barrel, before checking off a box on his trusty datapad.
"Good as new. So where did that creature come from and is it still around?"

Grimalki changes out the batteries of her rifle.

"Sure, give me irradiated wastelands all you want, but the moment something might be useful, nooooo..." she mutters to herself.

She sighs. "Right, let's stick close together."

Sorry - been busy with travel lately.

"Gah!" Her foresight not helping in this circumstance, Grimalki draws her rifle and takes a shot at the creature nearest her.

Grimalki's fur stands on end at the sudden rapid shots.

"Did I get it? See Nixxer understands. One of those things tried to eat me, and its tracks lead to there, I'd feel safer if we threw in a dozen, Mk 8 Frag Grenades first."

"There's some kind of lab in there, right? We don't know what they have in there. For all we know, that'd just contaminate the rest of the ship with poisonous chemicals or radiation or who knows what." She shudders, more familiar with the prospect than would be expected. "Besides, we're already on camera. We don't wanna draw more attention to ourselves."

Grimalki raises an eyebrow.

Staying low, she quickly moves away from the nearest creature until her back is against Nip's, before taking a shot at it with her plasma rifle.

Grimalki pokes around the room, hoping her smuggling skills might give her some insight.

"Right, we'll... go talk to Cohomir, see what he knows. It's weird being on this side of things."

Pockets looks at Grimalki

"So you were in on the dragon mission too? What's up with dragons not having a lot of treasure lately, it's like they got smart and started putting it all in a bank."

Pockets start pacing again thinking deeply about something.
"So if we really want to find the treasure we need a bank mission, not a dragon mission, think I'm on to something!"

"Now you're talkin'."

“Grimalki!” She moves in for a hug. “Love the piercing. Did Lash set you up with that? And no, I sleep just fine.”

She leans back and looks into Grimalki’s eyes, concern etched on her face.

“Are you affected? I can help you.” She looks over he shoulder. “What about you Sovellis? Any bad dreams? Or do elves even dream?”

Grimalki, once again, accepts the hug with mild discomfort.

"I mean, I've had plenty of nightmares, but that isn't unusual for me. Haven't been any dragons in 'em either."

Pockets points at Sovellis as he keeps pacing in circles.
"Sovellis you are one lucky Elf. How many Starfinders get to go on two missions with a dragon in it? Wow that's amazing, I'm jealous, Ok I want to hear all about the dragon's treasure! You found it right?"

"Not as much as I would've hoped." a gravelly voice says. Entering the room is a pahtra in a dark jacket, rifle slung over her shoulder. Her fur is dark grey, save for several spots of orange and white--a couple of which Nippostia and Sovellis wouldv'e sworn weren't there last time. She waves to Nip and Sovellis, grinning. "Name's Grimalki, nice to meet y'all."

She tugs at the collar of her rose blouse. A tattoo comes into view — a series of looping black swirls bisected by a dagger that curls with smokey shadows “See? Lash helped me pick it out. The scrollwork is for calm and connection. The shadow dagger represents what we did to that stupid nightmare dragon. I can’t believe we even listened to him in the first place!”

"Tattoo wouldn't work for me, so I got this instead." She gestured to a new piercing on her ear. "Itches like hell, though."

She tenses up somewhat upon noticing Pockets' nametag. "A safety inspector, huh."

She takes a seat, grabbing a flask from a jacket pocket. "So, that nightmare dragon keep it's promise for either of you? Any weird dreams?"

She then pinches her finger tips together, mimicking some kind of equipment that isn't unlike a hole puncher. "Unless you're more the piercing type? Because I can set you up with that."

Grimalki gestures to her fur. "Tattoos don't really work for me."

"Great work team" The drow turns to Grimalki and in a lower turn of voice says. "Sounds good. I know when to look the other way" He offers his hand.

She shakes his hand with a grin. "Pleasure doing business."

At Absalom Station docking bay, Nippostia hugs everyone and gets unexpectedly (or perhaps expectedly) teary-eyed as the team unloads.

Grimalki doesn't resist the hug, but evidently isn't used to that much contact.

“This was a rough one, but we came through it. We took down slavers and gang members, beat back a pirate starship, and gave that nightmare dragon something to scream about.”

She sniffles again.

“I mean, we really jelled, yanno? I’m gonna miss you all a lot. Hey, anyone wanna hit the Seeker’s Respite tonight? They probably have a vid game tourney running… or wait… it could be Karaoke night.”

Nip fishes her data pad out and checks the schedule. The bright green sticker in the top left corner bobs as she taps.

“BOTH! They’re doing both tonight! Who’s in? C’mon… don’t make hit you with Dream of Home and then guide-squox you all the way there.”

She grins and winks. “Never know what might happen on a night like this…”

"I'll be down, don't expect anything good from karaoke, though."

At some point after the conclusion of the mission, Grimalki approaches Balok.

"So... I'm sure by now you've noticed that we seem to be in... opposing lines of work." She takes a drag before continuing. "I keep up to date on my reputation, so I wanted to offer you a deal. I've got a few... competitors in the field, types like Bogden who ruin things for the rest of us. If you agree not to get in the way of my business, I might see about getting you some intel on some of them."

Profession (Smuggler): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 Apparently "Grimalki the Dragon-Slayer" didn't do as much for her reputation as she'd hoped.

The impact of those missiles sends the dragon disappearing into incorporeality as a cloud of laughing shadows. But before it goes, it taunts you saying it will see them in their dreams.

"...I'm just gonna hope that was a bluff."

She keeps hold of her gun as her allies insert the tablet fragments, ready for any other tricks.

Grimalki grimaces, cigarette between her teeth. "Well, Dragon-Slayer would be good for business." She draws and fires her rifle.

Grimalki nonchalantly leans against a wall as they work on the trap, lighting up a cigarette and scenting the room faintly with catnip.

Grimalki is, safe to say, not happy upon getting back on dry land.

Grimalki frowns at the water. "Is, uh... is there any other way around? No? Hm."

Bracing herself, she jumps in.

Relying on instinct, Grimalki has little issue getting through.

"Yeah, and I've got a spell that can give me locations of various hazards, if I have ten minutes or so to concen... oh." Grimalki shrugs. "Well, better get to work then." She starts helping with tying off the ropes.

The landing is perhaps not as graceful as hoped. Grimalki, though, doesn't seem particularly bothered.

If we have time, I'll cast scan environment for the full 10 minutes, and climate adaptation on everyone if temperature will be a concern.

Grimalki draws her rifle and fires at the closest vesk, her fur still color-shifted from the spell.

Grimalki crouches low, taking a step, before a blue flicker appears in her eyes, a few patches of fur starting to shift color, before the vesk and Bogden all feel an oppressive--yet otherwise invisible-- wave of heat and radiation.

Casting overheat, 15-foot cone so should hit all of them, DC 14 Reflex Half Fire: 2d8 ⇒ (4, 8) = 12
