Hearing the cry of Nokazi and seeing Victasys head towards Zotu, Griffo springs into action. He leaps over the pews ducking between Sajna and the injured Tengu who he taps with a wand speaking a word in Infernal.

Griffo turns to the new threat, he begins to chant and whirl his hands a circle of energy appears before him. Butter floats out of his spell component pouch and mixes with the energy creating a green globule in the air. His chanting builds in intensity and then suddenly stops as he thrusts his arms out towards the new attackers the globule shoots forward hitting the floor at their feet and spreading underneath them.

DESCRIPTION
A grease spell covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can't move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details). Creatures that do not move on their turn do not need to make this check and are not considered flat-footed.

The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Material objects not in use are always affected by this spell, while an object wielded or employed by a creature requires its bearer to make a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect. If the initial saving throw fails, the creature immediately drops the item. A saving throw must be made in each round that the creature attempts to pick up or use the greased item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +10 circumstance bonus on Escape Artist checks and combat maneuver checks made to escape a grapple, and to their CMD to avoid being grappled.

With all the enemies close by down Griffo looks about his companions checking for wounds.
" That doesn't look good Nokazi. " He states be jabbing a wand into the Tengu's wound and speaking a dark sounding command word.

" And that's a nasty welt Hothan, here let me take care of it. " again jabbing the wound of the Cavalier.

Casting Infernal Healing on Nokazi and Hothan. They gain Fast Healing 1 for 10 rounds. Assuming we are let in peace for at least one minute they'll gain 10 HP

Griffo then turns his atention to the search of the mysterious lady.

Griffo springs into action and begins chanting. He waves his hands around in slow wide arcs, flames begin to envelop his hands, then he brings them together and lets out a burst of fire towards two of the enemies.

Griffo claps enthusiastically as the play comes to a close having quite enjoyed the over acted somewhat predictable story line. He leans over to whichever of his companions sits adjacent and says loudly over the applause.
"Much better than a trek through a swamp, aye?" He doesn't catch the (probably strange) look his companion gives him due to the loud gonging.

"Hello, what's this then" he says more to himself as he looks about.

I'm going to get a wand of CLW with my PP and loan it to Victasys.

"Use this only in the heat of combat. When there are no enemies present I have a more effective method of closing wounds but it takes a minute for the spell to finish. There are some side effects but they are minimal and short lasting..." Griffo says winking up at the half orc.

I'll use my wand of Infernal Healing out of combat. 10 HP is better than 2-9.

"Hmm it might be fun to mingle but I think it would be better to just take our seats and not draw any unnecessary attention to ourselves." Griffo looks up and around at everyone to see if they agree.

" Victasys, why don't you come with me to my tailor and we'll see if we can't spruce up that Armour with a fancy tabard or something? And Good man Hothan, your uniform could do but how about we accessorize it with some jewelry. We wouldn't want to draw to much attention to ourselves and I would be happy to pay. Maybe if we come into some money, as often happens in these sort of quests you can pay me back afterwards? "

Essentially I'm offering to part with 30gp to buy the equivalent of a courtiers outfit to go with Victasys's Armour and 20gp to accessorize Hothan's uniform with jewelry as you normally would with a courtiers outfit.

My only concern right now is that the Wizard is the party healer... I've got a wand on Infernal Healing which is ok but if someone needs a quick boost in combat we might be out of luck.

Griffo now wears a well cut red high collared coat, trimmed with gold filigree. Several rings glitter on his fingers. He cant help himself and still has his spell component pouch disguised as a snuff pouch as well as his wands and scrolls hidden beneath his coat.

Well my avian friend, I believe we simply have to wait for a distraction, or if needed cause our own before we slip off to search for our missing pathfinder and his dig site... perhaps a fire in the right spot as the climatic scene enthrals the audience? Griffo says winking with his suggestion.
