Silver Crusade

The monk shook his head to Jonathan's question, then he began to stroke his beard in thought. After a minute he says, "You know I did see a bard at the tavern last night. He had plenty to choose from to spend his night with, you might check with Sam, Roland, or the mercenary staying at the tavern."

"Huh," Jon said, looking down at the black pants and purple shirt. "Well, that was a lot more magical than I was expecting. And suddenly it occurs to me that I could do the magic and fix it too, although, I don't think I could do the tailored alterations. So thank you for that."

Considering, Jon added, "Soooo...I couldn't help but overhear the muttered comment, and between that and the bespoke mystic tailoring that made me feel far less like I was being sawed in half, so I kinda assume that you're not quite what you seem?"

Honestly was usually the best policy, unless lying was funnier.

He bows much faster than you would have expected and further too. "Your welcome, ah perceptive too. Though if I did not drop the farce you may not have made me your friend. I am a monk of the open hand. We don't believe in the material and gain other powers that the divine presents. I can only hope that you will remember this kindness and help any of my fellow brothers that you meet. Perhaps we will meet again or you might ask for a lesson."

The old white haired beggar looks up at Jonathan and nods his head murmering quietly to himself, "Yes this one will do nicely," Perception DC 10.

If Jonathan doesn't reply or hear him, the beggar moves rather quickly for such an old man and looks around Jonathan. With a snap of his fingers and a few magical words, "Alish Totalious Gifteousn." And *Poof* your clothes are mended and fit to your new figure. He waits for your response.

Once Gavin clams down, the old man nods to the boy. Hoping to pull him back to reality, "I will take that offer of 3 copper a hare, so 12 copper or a silver and two copper." Once he has the coins he thanks the boy, tussles his hair a bit and sits back into his chair proper, resting, sipping, and soaking up the heat.

Silver Crusade

"Hey Gavin, I have four hares bleeding out on my horse, any chance we could trade?" the old man speaks up when Gavin is free.

Silver Crusade

Theodore the old woodsman comes in and stops to greet the sheriff before finding a table for himself next to Urdrsk. +2 for Urdrsk to get the sense motive check. Once Maqan comes to check on him he offer, "I have five hares and two turkeys I caught today for coin."

Sense Motive DC 14:
You can see the forced labored gait of a man trying to act older than he is which is odd for the obviously old human.

He collects the papers and puts them in a drawer of the stump desk. He steeples his fingers together and says, "This is interesting, none of you are banned. You may go on your way to collect spider silk. You will likely come in contact with three creatures, only choose one as your guide. Otherwise they will bicker with each other. If you are lost call out for help but you never know what might come and help or at what cost. These are the Fey woods so be wary."

Silver Crusade

"Just waiting on one more..." Ise!!!?!!! He taps the ground with his foot waiting for the last paper to be filled out as he reads the others.

Silver Crusade

"Tin man, thank you. Please watch from outside. Now what are your names, do you have any fey affiliations and what exactly brings you to the forest? The more information the more likely I can authorize your search and collection. Also are the men outside with you? He says in a deep baritone voice meant for his large girth.

Lumberyard:
"If she surrenders we take her as is otherwise she must be killed." Theldore says simply.

Silver Crusade

Lumberyard:

"I will pay you 10 gp, or more. 1 gp each person you knock out or 5 sp for each person you kill. Most of the men are simple lumberjacks just under her influence so be kind if possible." Theldore says but obviously understands action is needed whatever he can get.

Silver Crusade

Lumberyard:

"You would be in luck sir. I am Grey Warden Theldore. Let me have the note." He looks at the note and then looks at you, sizing you up, then seems less frustrated he asks, "Would you be willing to help me stop this craziness? I now have orders to stop the scarlet witch and make peace with the fey in the woods at any cost. The pay would be good and a possibility to join the Wardens. I need you to watch my back in the coming battle more than anything else. What do you say and questions?"
