Don't fall for it boys! We got em right where we want em!

Yeah! They don’t know what to do next! Heheheheeee!

Haha! Yeah! Look at the Bear, he thinks we’re stupid enough to come out and fight him like he likes to fight! What a maroon!

Squeaks, gibberish, and high-pitched chuckling echo faintly from the ratholes...

Gremlins titter and whisper as the Fox scouts out the chamber...

Both Fox and Orpheus spot the next booby trap in the gremlin’s gauntlet—a sack of flour precariously balanced on an overhead rafter, poised to be upended to spill the flour all over the victim!

Dashing past without being blinded and coated by white flour requires a Reflex saving throw, DC 17...the vigilant Fox and his familiar gain a +2 circumstance bonus on this saving throw for spotting the trap in advance...

"The coast looks clear," the Fox says as he looks back toward the others. "Orpheus and I will keep looking farther ahead."

He walks down the corridor looking for the next room.

As Fox turns the corner to the north, he hears the high-pitched, maniacal giggling of several unseen gremlins as a spike-studded barrel swings toward him at the end of a rope...1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17...striking Fox for 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9 piercing and bludgeoning damage!

HEHEHEHEHEEEE!!!

As if they understood Johann’s words about them, the gremlins recede into the darkness of the ratholes where they cannot be seen... But their high-pitched gibbering can still be heard faintly echoing out of the dark little tunnels...

If he has a chance, Johann would like to tell the group what he knows about them.

Johann knows quite a lot about gremlins! These are jinkins, a type of wicked little saboteur that likes to cause machines to malfunction. They are also fond of mischievous tricks and pranks, and are known to harass much larger folk by attacking en masse while their target is distracted or incapacitated. Cold iron weapons bypass their damage reduction. The jinkins gremlins can shift their position in space, by means of teleportation magic (dimension door)!

Seconds later, the beady eyes of creatures that aren't dire rats, but are of similar size, peer out of the ratholes at the adventurers, a mix of fear and loathing on their bat-like faces...

There must be a dozen of them...
