Stepping in to replace Joneth, Gregori surges forward, moving inside the range of the cultists weapons to brig his blade to bear, blocking passage around the patch of grease.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Unable to advance without entering the area of grease, Grigori moves to the edge of the hazard K3 ready to attack should the enemy try the hazardous advance, or step in to relieve Joneth should the magus take injury.

As he focuses, the glow of golden flames again rise from him, spreading to encompass all of his allies.

+1 morale bonus to AC and on attack rolls, damage rolls, and saving throws against fear

Aasimar Paladin 4

Welcome back!

Aasimar Paladin 4

Thanks for the heads up and it makes sense. Boards tend to get pretty quiet last two weeks of the year.

Aasimar Paladin 4

I understand completely, kids and scheduled activities are anathema. I'm pretty sure that's why nature makes them adorable. :p

Aasimar Paladin 4

"Right behind you," Gregori says flashing a grin as he strides into the room, stepping forward to protect the others as they enter.

Moving to N4

Aasimar Paladin 4

In a swif movement Gregori drops to one knee, swordpoint to the ground her rests his hand on each of the faller crusaders' corpses in turn.

"Your vengence through my blade."

He stands, eyes flashing with anger. "Like she said we have work to do, peole to save and demons to kill. Let's be about it."

Aasimar Paladin 4

Gregori shifts into a flanking position with Joneth but slips on the gore of the dispatched demon, completely ruining his attack.

1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 9 + 2 = 12
1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Aasimar Paladin 4

Yup I'm already smiting him

Aasimar Paladin 4

Gregori's blade flashes through the air again to bite deep into the fiend's hide.

1d20 + 9 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 9 + 4 = 22 automatically bypass any DR
1d10 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 4 = 11

Aasimar Paladin 4

Ugh...sorry.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Eith a roar of righteous fury Gregori's blade flashes out as the vile creature before him.

"Back to whatever vile corner of the Abyss spawned you!"

Smite Evil: 1d20 + 9 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 4 = 16
1d10 + 4 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 4 + 8 = 22

Aasimar Paladin 4

Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Aasimar Paladin 4

That is sooooo @#$%^&ed up! I love it.

Aasimar Paladin 4

LMAO!!!!

Aasimar Paladin 4

Gregori shakes his head in disbelief. "I'd swear that this was the conversation of psychotic cultists, but they're speaking Celestial. Something about whose turn it is to cut out the tongue."

With a look of righteous fury the Paladin, tries the door knob quietly.

Aasimar Paladin 4

As Eudocia draws his attention to the screaming Grgori puts his ear to the door.

Speaks Celestial

Aasimar Paladin 4

"By all means." Gergori says with a grin. He leads the way through the unlocked door.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Makes sense to go where he was running to

Aasimar Paladin 4

Frowning at the defacement Gregori takes in the room.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

"Yes that's probably the best course of action" the paladin says dragging corpses into the card room. "We need to make a sweep of this place once every one is healed up."

Aasimar Paladin 4

With a growl of anger Gregori sends his blade slicing towards the wounded of Theodrick's attackers.

1d20 + 9 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 1 = 17
1d10 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 = 8

Aasimar Paladin 4

Darkness countered by Daylight, leaving previous light levels

Aasimar Paladin 4

Take 1 setp back

Aasimar Paladin 4

Touching a hand to his armor Gregori calls upon his celestial heritage, the light of the morning sun emanating from him.

SLA Daylight

Aasimar Paladin 4

As the enemy prepares to attack, a golden flame-like nimbus emanates from Gregori, washing over each of his allies, granting them each some small fragment of divine protection, the simmering, flickering light spreading to illuminate an area in a 30ft radius of the Paladin.

All allies in this area (including the warrior of the holy light) receive a +1 morale bonus to AC and on attack rolls, damage rolls, and saving throws against fear as long as they remain in the area of light. This power lasts for 1 minute.

Aasimar Paladin 4

With a disgusted look at the corpses, Gregori grabs first one then the other by the wrists, dragging them inside the doors and propping them against the inner walls, cutting off both thier heads for good measure.

Aasimar Paladin 4

"Anyone handy with locks?" Gregori asks trying the doors.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Gregori takes the opportunity to advance on the enemy, moving straight forward.

Double move. Advance 40 ft

Aasimar Paladin 4

For some reason the game thread stopped updating for me.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Lol works for me. Updated.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Well considering there's an archetype that uses scrolls like hanbo, it sounds about the right length to hold the rod.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Yeah I give up spellcasting and all spell completion for the scaling effects of the Holy light.

Aasimar Paladin 4

I can't use any spell completion items at all

Aasimar Paladin 4

Ok. Glad you had a good albeit busy day.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Grogori resists the urge to roll his eyes.

Aasimar Paladin 4

"In that case every moment counts. Terendelev saved each of our lives for a reason, and I mean to not let her death, her sacrifice and her final act go to waste." the Paladin says, taking a moment to make eye contact with each of his companions.

"If any of you would rather avoid this danger, speak now and we part ways with my best wishes until this is all over."

Aasimar Paladin 4

"You can chose to take part in the mission or not. The fact is with the Worldwound launching what is to be their final assault, you can either play a part in trying to stop it, or crawl under your bed praying that either others are able to do so, or that the demons don't find you." Gregori says, his voice resonant with the gravity of the situation. "You haven't struck me as the damsel who sits around waiting to be saved Eudocia.....not yet anyway."

Aasimar Paladin 4

Gregori nodsgrimly as the group follows, bothered by the dying cultists jubilant attitudes even in death.

Aasimar Paladin 4

Awww

Aasimar Paladin 4

"In which case it means the ones that carried those were happy to potentially kill the next person to pick these up. Obviously they've switched sides in all this." Gregori says angrily.

Aasimar Paladin 4

"Are you all right Harrol?"

Aasimar Paladin 4

Nodding solemly, the Paladin strides over to Theodric, shifting his gaze to percieve the nature of things, he looks for signs of evil in his compatriot.

Detect Evil

Aasimar Paladin 4

Propping himself up on his sword, Gregori empties the contents of his stomach, wiping his mouth with a snarl.

Aasimar Paladin 4

1d4 ⇒ 2

Aasimar Paladin 4

Will save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Ugh..too bad Called only works for attack rolls

Aasimar Paladin 4

Take all the time you need.

Aasimar Paladin 4

And visually Gregori just went Super-Saiyan lol

Aasimar Paladin 4

As Theodric casts his protective spell on the others and mentions Ragathiels protection Gregori smiles. "Yes, something like that." he replies.

At the mention of Baphoment and the advance of the vile creature, his eyes narrow, a divine anger rising with in him. Instantly his halo flares to life casting it's brilliance into the room. Reaching deep within he grabs hold of his own inner light, the fire and fury that drives his battle with evil and calls it forth. A warm golden glow begins to pulse from the Paladin, emanating from him, expanding each time he exhales, enveloping his companions in it's glow.

He stands, blade in hand, radiating righteous fury, his companions feel safer, more sure of themselves and their ability to defeat the evil before them.

Activate Halo (move action). Activate Holy Light (Standard action). This causes a nimbus of light to emanate from the warrior of the holy light in a 30-foot radius. All allies in this area (including the warrior of the holy light) receive a +1 morale bonus to AC and on attack rolls, damage rolls, and saving throws against fear as long as they remain in the area of light. This power lasts for 1 minute.
