Parker is currently fatigued due to the extra effort he took to get Catrina to the boom tube as fast as he could fly her. He will need an hour of rest to remove the fatigued condition. While fatigued, he is hindered (-1 speed rank).
"Incoming hostiles near the boom tube. Get here fast!" Parker says with a raised voice instead of doing his normal tactic of moving his mouth by Catrina's ear to let the team know.
Elton, how many ramotiths does Parker see? Are there more people still changing? From what he can tell, are the people changing aware of them changing or are there shouts, yells and screams by them/other civilians as they are changing into ramotiths against their wills?
Green flames erupt from Parker, concealing the boom tube completely, except for a clear flight tunnel from the top if none of the baddies are fliers. The only other parts of the 30 foot diameter hemisphere of green flames not covered are any other buildings/structures/etc. (so Parker does not start any unintentional fires)...and clear view from his and Catrina's heads (so the two of them can clearly see allies and foes) fifteen feet from the side of the hemisphere of fog their teammates and the ramotiths are coming from.
above was reaction
Catrina hears Parker pray, "Pele, please help my new friends get home safe. Stop the ones trying to stop them."
You have narrative control of where the lava spurts from the ground, Elton. :)
Volcanic Eruption:
Volcanic Eruption (5 ranks) ==> currently at power rank 1 while he has all three dynamic powers of his power array active
Unlike the green flames of his Flames of Flight and Greek Fire Cloud Aura, the fire damage from Volcanic Eruption is from spurts of lava that emerge from the Earth.
Damage (Fire)
Action: Standard
Range: Close (==> Perception)
Duration: Instant
Cost: 1 point per rank (==> 4 power points per rank)
Area (cylinder) Extra: +1 cost per rank
Increased Range Extra (x2): +2 cost per rank
Selective Extra: + 1 cost per rank
Limited Flaw (Can only be used from natural surfaces of the planet, including oceans/lakes/rivers.)
Parker alters his dynamic Power of the Gods power array so he has 1 rank active in each of the trhee powers (Flames of Flight, Greekfire and Volcanic Eruption).
Parker readies and action to activate his 15-foot radius flame aura to activate if he sees any of the baddies coming towards to where the boomtube, Catrina and him are, with the full area filled up with flames except for in front of Parker's and Catrina's heads to the edge of the fire cloud, so the two of them have clear line of sight to approaching teammates and baddies, and without the flames touching the boomtube, or any other structures so that he does not inadvertently cause any items/buildings to catch fire. For flying teammates, the flames clear a path from the top of the cloud so the flying heroes have a clear flight path into the wormhole tunnel of the boom tube. For running teammates, a similar tunnel through the flames parts for them to get to the wormhole tunnel.
Parker and Catrina are standing 5 feet in front of boom tube, so there will be a 10 foot barrier of flames between the edge of the fire cloud and the hyper tunnel, and there will be a 15 foot barrier between the edge of the fire cloud and Catrina and Parker.
Parker smiles in response to the blown kiss.
"I'll use my flames to conceal us and the tunnel if we see any of the baddies coming our way, without blocking our line of sight to them."
Parker and Catrina arrive at the boom tube, still incorporeal as Parker 'lands' them so their feet are 'touching' the ground so that Catrina is facing the way they came as he makes the fingertips of his right hand corporeal and enters in the code for the school, as he slides his left hand up from her waist and down the length of her right arm and gently interlocks the fingers of his left hand with her right hand. "Do not let go of my hand until we're back at the school."
The boom tube activates, and Parker moves his mouth by Catrina's ear with the comms earpiece, "Boom tube activated. Get here and through it within the next five minutes while it remains open. Cat and I will do what we can to make sure no one else gets to the school through it."
Is there a digital countdown display on the boom tube's control panel showing how much time is left before the warp tunnel closes?
<"Professor C, coming in hot within the next 5 minutes. Is there a code to shut the tunnel off in less than 5 minutes? Things did not go as smoothly as they could have for us.">
He then makes the fingertips of his right hand incorporeal again, gently grabs the left side of Catrina's waist and spins Catrina and himself around, then releases her waist so that she continues to spin, her red dress twirling from the dance spin, so that they are both facing the way they came, with Parker's left hand holding Catrina by her right hand, with both of them fully incorporeal (though do not appear to appear incorporeal due to the 2 ranks of the subtle extra).
"Do you think the professor can hear our thoughts from here? he asks Catrina as he looks around for ground that is natural earth (He is not aware of the limited flaw of his Volcanic Eruption power, but does not want to cause any property damage (including to streets/sidewalks) )Perception:1d20 + 20 ⇒ (3) + 20 = 23
Waiting a few seconds for Catrina to answer his question regarding Cable, he adds, "How close does someone have to get to you for the spirits to be able to hold them in place like you did with the zoanoids yesterday?"
After she answers the question, he adds, "I will use my fire to conceal and protect us and the boom tube if any of the baddies spot us. You keep them from getting to us, hermosa."
Catrina and Parker are not in/at/on the baddies' building. The bulding they were hovering above is across the street, out of sight. That was until Parker zoomed Catrina to the boom tube. So the building they were hovering above would be south of the map (working with north is upwards on map), above a tall building across the street.
Elton, I added a profile pic. This was the best one I could find that matches up to having a green flame aura.
Parker hugs Catrina tighter to him as he gets her as fast (6 ranks Flight) as he can to safety, the boom tube back to the school.
He speaks by Catrina's ear with the comms earpiece, "Mach, can you snag one of the things they were loading into the truck on your way out? Uthor, can you fly Chance to the boom tube? Jesse, can you get away or do you need an assist?"
Extra Effort to gain an additional rank in flight (for 7 ranks of Flight), and doing a double move to fly Catrina to the boom tube. Distance covered in the double move is 1 mile.
To use the boom tube we have to type in the school's number, correct? How long will it stay open to the school before needing to type in the number again?
Perception to see if he hears Jesse's shouting words via the comms earpiece in Catrina's ear:1d20 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22
Elton, what do you want the DC to be for Parker to hear raised voices coming through Catrina's earpiece? The DC to hear the specific words that are being said? I am working with DC 20 to hear a specific person's voice (when they are are using raised voices, and DC 30 to hear the specific words being yelled. I will adjust to use whichever DCs you want to use.
Parker hears Jesse's muffled voice coming through the earpiece, then asks Catrina, "What is Jesse yelling about?"
"Do you need to be close to the trucks for her to do so?"
Wondering what the others have been relaying over the comms, also asks, "Did Jesse say what she's going to do for a distraction?"
Then realizing that during the heated discussion on the rooftop, none of them had told Jesse...he moves his mouth closer to the ear Catrina has the earpiece in, "Jesse, four of the henchmen are beast-men and one of those four has a nasty-looking tail."
You are at the opposite end of the loading area. Loading the trucks are four Zoanoids. One of them happen to be an enzyme. An enzyme III, he's on the lookout for anyone to come and ruin their operation.
Jessie Kamiya wrote:
my apologies, she's still outside waiting for confirmation on where she needs to be. Depending on breaching. Also. Did anyone care to tell her there's a Enzyme in the building?
I do not think this info has been relayed to Jesse yet.
Parker and Catrina are hovering above a nearby building (out of line of sight from ground where baddies were loading the trucks), waiting for Jesse to to cause distraction for the baddies still by the trucks to leave the area to see whatever Jesse does). The two of them are going to fly down after Jesse gives the okay (through the comms to Catrina, who will relay to Parker) and take a look inside the truck.
Mach 3 (Jaime), Uthor, Chance are on the rooftop, the rooftop door is open, the roaming security lasers (triggered (turned on) when Uthor opened the door) are still scanning. Some (maybe all?) the baddies (I forget if Captain Cold or Mr.Freeze ordered them) went into building to see what triggered the alarm (which was when the lasers, unnoticed by our heroes, reached Catrina's corporeal form inside the building at least 5 feet away from rooftop door, and the alarm went off).
Uthor channeled his concealing fog into the warehouse (think it is large enough to make the entire interior be filled with his visual-impeding mist/fog).
Not sure, but think Jesse might never have been on the roof, but up in the sky out sight (from the baddies on the ground) waiting to cause a distraction if the team needs one - which turns out we do!
Currently, everyone on our team has a comms earpiece except for Mach 3 and Parker.
@Seth: I did not see radio communcations as part of your 'guyver' suit powers. Based on one of your posts, you have been working with it has the ability to tap into radio frequencies to send/transmit.
If Jesse's 'guyver' suit does have such communications capabiities, than Mach 3 has the 4th comms earpiece of the 4 Cable handed out.
Parker did not take one, stating he would be carrying Catrina, so she could relay things to him. He simply speaks near her so others hear him.
Uthor was the one who asked Cable if the team had comms, so he got one.
Chance specifically asked for one - which is when Parker stated he would not take one and handed the earpeace he was given to Chance.
With Mach 3 running theme of 'always being late' he would have arrived after the comms were distributed. (see above regarding whether or not Jesse's guvyer suit actually does have built-in comms or not).
Uthor's first impression to the team was coming off as being 'better than others', which Mach 3 (Jaime) commented on while we were on the rooftop, causing some heated words between some of the heroes (and think we resolved player friction that resulted from Jubal thinking Mach 3's words involved meta-gaming, but Mach 3's attitude towards Uthor in-game matches up with the impression Uthor had been giving the team since they first met him earlier in the day.
Did I miss anything?
So far we have a great first half (or two thirds) of an animated 'tv series episode' of the newly-formed team doing a relatively simple recon mission (and a simple teamwork building obstacle by Cable - not giving out enough comms so everyone gets one), when growing tension towards one of the two new team members came to a head on the rooftop, just before the roaming lasers set off the alarm, causing the baddies to move into the building. The mood of the scene shifted from 'take our time, no rush' to 'action is needed and needed fast!' - like a good episode of Young Justice...character interaction, some friction between members, then working together as a team (and dealing with the friction later).
@Elton (and everyone, as it involves your characters as well, barring copyright clones of Batman and Flash - so possibly tweaked to not be clones/connected to Bat or Flash family): Have you considered using our gameplay as a potential screenplay at some point?
@Elton: Please give us the current locations (that we know of) off the various baddies, including Captain Cold and Mr. Freeze.
edited: The other original members that had not shown up at the school today yet (and missed the mission briefing) (Timothy and Wayne). When Parker asked (Batman/Cable) if we should wait for them, he/they told us no, to go right away, and the two of them (Timothy and Wayne, not Batman and Cable) will join us when they show up.
Parker, still just out of view from where the truck (and Mr. Freeze, Captain Cold and their henchment) are, continues hovering with Catrina above the roof of a nearby building. Parker spins around, so that in their face to face position, Catrina has a view of the rooftop and will have a view of the streets below when they fly out from above the rooftop. "Be my eyes and guide me when Jessie gives the signal the coast is clear. That way if any of them spot us, they will not see my face nor yours without your death mask? I want to get to the back of the truck they are loading. As they are cold-using supervillains, I suspect the trucks are insulated with fibreglass, so I need to go in through the trailer doors or from underneath."
"If it wasn't for the asphalt I would just phase us underneath the street and up into the truck."
As the handing out earpieces post was posted after reopening recruitment that got Chance and Uthor added to the group, I am thinking if it might simply have been a typing mistake/oversight.
The scene in gameplay so far has been going with Parker not having an earpiece, with Cable might have intentionally given us less earpieces than how many of us there are, might have been a 'let's see how they handle this as a team' team-building lesson.
I had worked with Uthor getting one of the earpieces, as he specifically asked Cable if he had issued communication devices for us, and Mach 3 tends to be late. :)
Chance returns the friendly handshake with a warm smile, as well as any others that are offered.
"Checking out some dusty old warehouse sounds easy enough. Yo, boss, can I have one of those?," he requests, indicating the earpieces. When offered, he puts it in. "Hey guys, can you hear me?", he asks still standing next to the group.
Chance swings his arms to stretch out his shoulders. "Shall we get going?"
Chance had specifically requested one of the earpieces, which is why I posted earlier this week that Parker would have volunteered not to take one, as he would be carrying Catrina, who has one.
Looking sideye at Cable, he asks, "have you issued communication devices to the team?"
Cable produces four earpieces. Each one a futuristic walkie-talkie. "Use these to stay in contact with your team."
As I take it Cable and Batman were expecting six students for the team (as the team had 6 members before Chance and Uthor joined the team that morning), that it was deliberate that Cable handed out four earpieces to the six of us, as part of a teamwork exercise to see how we would handle not having an earpiece for each of us.
For the new members to the group...For Insubstantial 4 ranks (incorporeal) you must choose a common descriptor that the power does not work on.
Sand was historicially known as a common substance that was an effective defense against greekfire.
So I, as a player, tend to google whether sand/silica is used as a building component for items (to figure out if Parker can phase through it/make the object incorporeal).
Parker's learning about his powers while working with the firefighters in Victoria, would have decided that for long-haul trailers, sometimes the only phasing access into long haul truck trailers is through the doors or floors of the trailer.
As Parker does not have an earpiece, it is up to Catrina to relay what others are saying (sans Mach 3, who also does not have an earpiece, unless he does the same tactic Parker has been doing so others can hear him via the earpieces)...I nearly posted in response to what Jessie said about cats and lasers (as it made me laugh out loud when I read it)...but Parker does not know Jessie said that...yet.
Parker's eyes do the green iris flames trick as he smiles at Catrina, "Your beauty is always <asombrosa*>."
* spoken with a Spanish accent, translates to breathtaking.
While Parker is making someone incorporeal they do not need to breathe (and are immune to suffocation effects) in addition to being immune to fire damage.
Parker's face drops at Jaime's words, "Phasing through the door did not trigger the alarm, else it would have went off when Cat and I phased through it!"
Parker whips his head around and spots a laser on the other side of Catrina. "Crap, looks like opening the door must have triggered a roaming laser trespasser detector."
Parker flies directly at Catrina, his hands corporeal to grab her by the shoulders, then making them both completely incorporeal, and flies her out of the building before the laser reverses it direction and detects her presence again, shifts her around so they are face to face as he flies them away from the building (so the bad guys cannot see them in the air), then flies around a nearby building then flies up to that building's roof, hovering just out of sight of where the bad guys are at the loading docks on the ground at the building they just flew from.
He then speaks so everyone with an earpiece can hear him, "Jessie, distract the baddies that stay outside while the others get away while Uthor's fog is making it difficult for the criminals to see inside the building. When none of the baddies are by the trucks, Cat and I will fly down, phase into the trucks, and see what their cargo is."
Parker privately hopes both Mr.Freeze and Captain Cold go into the building so that only their cronies might possibly spot whatever Jessie does for a distraction to lure them away from the trucks.
"Do not engage the enemies directly if possible," Parker says before the decibels of his voice lower, "This is still supposed to be a recon mission. Goal is still not to let the baddies I.D. us."
Only Catrina can see Parker's face get a look of fear on his face when he mentioned the possibility of being I.D.'d.
He then whispers so (potentially) only Catrina can hear him, "I need a suit that conceals my appearance before our next mission. I have been thinking of using the same materials they use for firefighter gear."
In the past month, a lot of games lost 2 weeks (not 1 week) due to Paizo.com being shut down completely for 1 week - the reason 2 weeks for some games, is many worked with the website being shut down for the original planned week-long shutdown, to discover the following week the week-long shutdown was delayed by a week.
I then had a death in the family, with the members of our group giving condolences (thank you again), and with Thanskgiving being later in the week I got back home from traveling, Elton offered to delay the game until after Thankgiving.
So those three weeks of no gameplay postings are not typical of the posting rate of our campaign.
Monday, Nov. 3, 2025: last morning before Paizo planned to shut down for a week to work on new store. Many PBPers did not bother to check the website during this week (as they were working with it being offline).
Thurs, Nov 6: last gameplay post before the weekend, with Monday, Nov 10 being the day that was the beginning of the week-long Paizo.com website shutdown.
Monday, Nov. 17: website back online, I post in gameplay. Later that day I discover one of my brothers has died. I travel later during the week to be with my family during the sad week. As I was checking gameplay/discussion each day before I left to travel and no one else had posted yet, I did not reveal one of my brothers had passed away.
Sunday, Nov. 23 & 24: others post in discussion, aware that website is back online.
Tuesday, Nov. 25 (three days before American Thanksgiving): I tell all of you I was away for the weekend due to my brother dying. Condolences for me and my family are given. Elton asks if we want to wait until Friday (after Thanksgiving) to resume. Evindyl suggests I give myself a minute (to give me some additonal time to grieve).
Thursday, Nov. 27: Elton posts a recap in gameplay.
Monday, Dec. 1: I post in discussion, asking if everyone is ready to resume.
Next post is not until Saturday, Dec. 6, when Elton asks us if any of us want to resume play. We clearly do by our responses. If the extra week of delaying gameplay was to give me more time to grieve, thank you.
So anyone judging the past month of what is this group's typical posting rate usually is, did not include some significant factors, with one factor being that many PBP campaigns lost an effective two weeks instead of only 1 week due to the planned shutdown of the website we have our campaigns on.
@Uthor: If you reconsider staying, I have already suggested (in one of my gameplay posts) what could have caused Uthor (and Chance) to have apparently forgotten the plan (someone with powers messing with their minds/memories) that Elton could work in.
I am waiting for Elton's response to my question about the laser before I post next in gameplay....as it might very well be Uthor's act of opening the door that triggered the alarm....
...and if that is the case, does your recent post stand (time edit window is was still open), as in Jaime thinking Uthor had nothing to do with the alarm going off when it might have been Uthor opening the door that triggered the laser detection to activate?
Elton, to make what happened so far match up with the alarm not going off right away, does it make sense that when Parker phased his head through the door, before phasing Catrina through the door, that there was no laser on (as in a laser detection that fluctuates on/off (or is triggered to activate to go on when the rooftop door is opened), so there was no laser evident when Parker phased Catrina through, then while Parker's head and arms were phased through the door talking with the others on the rooftop, when Uthor opened the door, it triggered the laser to go on, and quickly scanned the presence of someone (as Catrina is inside on the other side of the door, and is corporeal.)
edited: the door being opened could have initiated the laser detection, that none of our characters noticed (but the 'viewers at home' see), started to scan (starting near the doorway, then moving away from the door...eventually getting to where Catrina is standing...which would give enough time for the verbal exchange on the rooftop before the alarm starts going off).

While the fact that Uthor is a prince was never directly revealed to our characters by Uthor that he is a prince, his arrogance was within the context of our first impressions with him. Our characters do not need to be mind readers to pick up one someone acting like they think they are better than others....
Uthor wrote:
After introductions, he side-eyes Cable and asks with teenage overconfidence, "are you being forced to go to this human school, too?"
The inflection with the word human in the context of being forced to attend, could have easily come of as Uthor thinking humans are beneath him.
It was evident that Uthor was not familiar with some basic pop culture things (such as movies and popcorn). This does not add/remove the apparent condescension he has towards humans.
Uthor wrote:
"I'm Atlantean. The King of Atlantis is forcing me to attend this school." Uthor sideyes Cable.
Side-eyeing someone tends to be viewed as the person doing the side-eyeing as viewing the person being side-eyed in a negative way. Uthor's actions continue to demonstrate he feels he should not be being forced to be attending our school.
Uthor. wrote:
Uthor listens and nods, "aye. I can carry any of the non-flyers."
"So, the plan is to Boom Tube a couple of blocks away. Fly to the roof under the cover of a cloud of fog."
"Catrina asks the spirits about the place."
"Then, phase into the warehouse, two at a time, to check it out."
"Sounds good? Missing anything?"
It was clear Uthor knew the plan, as he was the one who verbally spoke it while we were still at the school, which is why Parker started to wonder why Uthor was apparently attempting to go off-script and do something decidedly less stealthy than phasing quietly through the door.
Conclusion: So while Uthor did not specifically tell us he is a prince (but is attending our school because the King of Atlantis told him to do)...
Uthor wrote:
"I'm Atlantean. The King of Atlantis is forcing me to attend this school."
...his demeanor that he holds the school in contempt or 'beneath him' was clearly evident.
So while being called 'prince' could be view as a metagaming, it could also be a term someone calls someone that is acting entitled and acting like the people he is surrounded by are beneath him, regardless if they have any actual royal or noble blood within their veins.
So sans the word 'prince', everything Mach 3 said within gameplay in response to Uthor's actions on the rooftop works without any sort of metagaming involved at all.
For some who might not have any real-world experience, other words that others might use to call someone acting like thay are above others include 'jacka$$', 'd&&k' and more kid-friendly terms such as 'jerk'.
Conclusion condensed: Mach 3's reaction to Uthor's actions regarding the door makes perfect sense in the context of gameplay, with the possible exception of using the word 'prince', though the use of the word 'prince' could have been used as placeholder for 'he acts as if he is a prince'.
There is a reason, after all, for the oft-repeated question, "Who put you in charge?", which has a number of variations, some of them using king/queen/prince/princess and other terms used for leaders of people when pointing out someone is acting in a way that is often viewed by others in a group as acting in a unjustified entitled way.
So even without blatantly telling us he is an actual prince, Uthor's demeanor/attitude of acting like he is 'better than humans' he definitely did do in our presence even before we got to the rooftop.
The above might have come across as overt scolding, but that was not my intent - it was to point out the reasoning for Evindyl's posts in gameplay matches up to Uthor's actions and words that Mach 3 knows about.
I reiterate, neither of you should go. The actions so far make for a good scene. 'Viewers at home' watching the 'show' saw the new characters of Chance and Uthor introduced at the beginning of the episode, with the context that Uthor thinks he is better than his peers being conveyed in the subtext of his words and actions during the initial meet and greet of the new characters...and then later in the episode Mach 3 calling Uthor out on that attitude. With the other new character, Chance, not doing/saying anything that would give the impression that Chance thinks others are 'beneath him' to give even the younger viewers a 'contrast by comparison' so they might more easily discern Uthor's apparent condescending attitude towards humans.
As in-game feelings of characters can sometimes spill out to dynamics between players, and when neither player had any ill will towards their fellow players, in-game actions can be misconstrued in ways that do not match up with the intent those actions were done with.
So, I suggest, instead of a long-running friction between Uthor and Mach 3 (or other members of the team) that the in-game 'making peace' happens sooner (as in same episode or within a few episodes, as opposed to a 'season-long friction' between the characters.
I take it it was multiple lasers and not a singular 'trip wire' laser beam detector, which Parker and Catrina could have got by without triggering.
As the bell alarm starts going off. "They will be looking for lookie-loos inside now." Parker phases totally through the door back onto the roof and near Chance's headset says, "Jessie, time for the distraction you said you could give us if needed."
As there were only 4 earpieces...Parker would have volunteered not to take one as he was carrying Catrina (who would have one of them). As Uthor asked the question and Chance requested one of them, I was working with the non-speedster remaining (Jessie) having the fourth one. Does that sound good to everyone?
With the rooftop door now opened (due to Uthor opening it), Catrina can clearly hear the conversation.
"If the rest of you can keep them busy, I can fly down and phase into the truck to take a look at the cargo. Catrina, you with me or roofside?"
@Elton Did the door open? Did it set off an alarm? Where is the roof access relative to the map? Above and office, I imagine.
It's above the office. The door did open, and there is a laser that tracks whomever goes in. Tripping the laser will sound an alarm.
Elton, Parker already phased Catrina through the door...working with Parker seeing the laser would make sure her (and his own) feet go above the laser, even while phased, before setting her down on the other side of the laser and releasing her (so she is no longer incorporeal). Does any of that sequence of actions require a perception check on Parker's/Catrina's part? I will wait to add more to what Parker would have said (if he was aware of the laser before speaking to Uthor when he was about to open the door).
my apologies, she's still outside waiting for confirmation on where she needs to be. Depending on breaching. Also. Did anyone care to tell her there's a Enzyme in the building?
I know it's been a few weeks real time since we made the plan: Uthor was going to use his fog to give us cover so we could get to the roof of the building, where Parker was going to phase the group through. I take it Jessie would have flown to the roof of the building using the cover of the fog to stay hidden from the villains and henchmen. The bad guys we have seen so far are outside the building, loading (or unloading) stuff into the trucks.
Parker phases his head back through the door to see Jaime arrive and speak, "Thank the gods. I thought some foe was messing with their minds," and reaches his other hand towards Jaime, "Grab my hand, Jaime."
Parker looks at Chance and whispers, "Yes, and we will not be able to see what they are up to inside very well if we stay outside. We will sneak down and observe what they are up to. They are probably going to be on the alert for lookie-loos outside, not from inside their own building." Parker reaches out one of his hands for Chance to grab, "Your turn to come inside."
<"Is there someone near us making them forget the plan we made before we took the boomtube here?"> Parker wonders.
Parker, his arms still extended through the door, with his hands corporeal, waiting for Chance to grab one of his hands so he can phase him through, brings his head back inside and whispers to Catrina, "The new guys forgot the plans we made for this mission. That was an hour ago." Catrina can see a look of worry starting to appear on Parker's face.
A look of disbelief appears on Parker's face as he sees Uthor is about to try opening the door and whispers to him, "What are you doing? Stick to the plan. This is a stealth mission. Forcing the door off will make noise and leave evidence of tampering. Wait there until the others use your fog cover so I can phase them through the door, then I will phase you through."
<"Did he forgot the plan that quickly? Is he trying to sabotage the plan?"> Parker wonders.
Parker, holding Catrina's hand, walks phases through the rooftop door and pulls Catrina in through the door as well. Parker releases Catrina hand, then phases his head and both hands back through the door, waiting for two of his teammates to take a hold of one of his hands to phase them through the door as well.
Clarification, please. Are the two zoanoids that Catrina sees living zoanoids we are all able to perceive or spirits of zoanoids?
Parker quietly asks Catrina, "Did Jessie say all zoanoids are capable of sensing her presence?" Catrina can feel Parker tense up slightly as he asks her the question, "How close do I have to get you for you to use your powers on them?"
Parker walks over to Catrina and wraps his arms around her, and his hair and feet flame on, "Ready to do some bad to do some good, <bella dama?>* "
* spoken in Spanish accent
He then shifts the two of them to 'spirit form' and hovers above ground waiting for Uthor to move the fog cover, and flies so that two of them remain in the cover as it moves.
"Yes." Parker answers then moves to stand beside the boom tube and extends an arm as he looks at Catrina and Jessie, "Ladies, first." as Chance and Uthor see the pupils of his eyes become tiny green flames.
<"Sir, are there reports of the first Young Justice team's missions we can read in our free time."> Parker thinks towards Cable.
Parker's flame aura dissipates as he extends his arm to greet the second newcomer, "Pleases to meet you, Chance. I'm Parker."
Parker then looks at Batman on the screen, "Sir, should we wait for Wayne and Timothy or head to Gotham City right away and the two of them can catch up to us when they get to school?"
"Metal or wooden doors should not be a problem for me to phase two of you through at a time." Parker answers Uthor as he looks at him directly, then looks up at the ceiling, "but not concrete or glass."
Parker then looks at Catrina, "I can only carry one at a time so I can carry Catrina. The other flyers in the group can carry other non-flyers of the team."
Parker's hair alights with green flames, "Flight, phasing, protective flames," green flames cover all of Parker's body and extend from him to cause knee-high flames to surround each of his classmates. "which I can also use to surround a foe."
"Films. The Silver Screen. The boob tube. Screen projectors. What television shows have you watched? Movies are like t.v. shows but many are big budget affairs that get released at movie theatres first." Parker's face scrunches up slightly as he tries to puzzle out how someone might not know what a movie is.
