Parker beelines a flight path to the cafeteria exit, "Coming through!" he shouts to the other assembled students in the cafeteria, skimming over their heads. One older student (with enhanced strength) puts his arm up to stop Parker, as he winks at Catrina just before 'catching' them, but then gets a dumbfounded look on his face as Parker and Catrina phase though his arm. Parker then flies higher to compensate for any other attempts of trying to snatch them out of the air, and they phased through metal part of the door to the stairwell and get to the meeting...before Jaime?

heads up: homefront situation is going to make posting as frequently as I have been a bit difficult for the at least the next two weeks. The friend I was thinking of is too busy to commit to a daily posting PBP, but likes the idea of reading up on the gameplay when he has time, and if down the line if we want are looking for new players to join and his free time has opened up more, he would be potentially interested in joining.

Parker insists his mother sit down at the dining room table as he continues to make breakfast for her, his sister and himself. "Mom, I got this." Parker flips the current pankcake in the one frying pan while flipping the thick-cut homefries in another pan and then scoops out the rest of the scrambled eggs from the third frying pan onto the platter he is using for the cooked eggs and potatoes. "Two minutes and breakfast will be ready. Sis, can you grab some glasses and the o.j. from the fridge. Thanks." As the three of them are sitting and having breakfast Parker asks, "Old man Henry saw me exit the phone booth yesterday. Can you make sure he doesn't cause a stink about trying to get the only phone booth in town taken away, Mom?" His mother assures her son that she will make sure the phone booth remains active so her son can continue his schooling on the east coast of the continent. "How has Dad's therapy been going since I left for the road trip to get to school?" "Dad walked for three minutes unaided three days ago!" Parker's sister, Alana, answered. "The doctors told us they expect he needs to remain at the care facility for at least two more months before considering him healthy enough to walk all day long." "That is the doctors said his physical mobility will return to a modicium of his former self, which will take at least two more months. My concern is how much of his brain injuries will heal. His words are still jumbled when he speaks. The specialists are not sure if his brain's speech centre will fully heal. His progress for comprehending speech is steadily improving though, so that is a good sign." Parker's mother, Dr. Daphne Song added to answer her son's question more in-depth. "Did our ya-yas and cousins get to Walt Disney World yet?" Parker asks as he munches down on some fried potatoes. "Not yet, they are taking their time stopping at places your cousins ask them too. They will probably arrive in Orlando by the end of the week." his mother answers. "How was your first day?" Alana asks her older brother. "How many cute boys go to the school?" "None that are young enough for you to date." Parker replies. "Come on, Parker. I'm only two years away from high school. Maybe I will develop powers and they will recruit me too." The possibility of his little sister fighting those monsters sends a shiver down Parker's spine. He composes himself before replying, "Maybe you will. Maybe you won't." "I have to head out." Parker stands up, grabs his backpack and kisses his mother and sister on their cheeks, "Love you. See you after school." Parker then winks at his sister just before he phases through the hardwood front door of their house and walks the five blocks to get to the lone phonebooth in town, which is in the parking lot that was built for tourists to park that come to the town to surf. When Parker was younger he thought it absurd that the parking lot was built to provide parking for up to 50 vehicles, which is half the population of Jordan River. But considering how quickly those spaces fill up during summer weekends it is a wonder a second parking lot was never built.

Cable and the Batman's answer not phasing him, as he expected the answer to be no. Parker hopes he accomplished what he wanted to by asking the question - which was to let the girls know he puts thoughts into dates (aside staying in and watching movies, though his questions asking them what sort of genres they like to watch might've indicated that he looks for something that they would both enjoy watching). Insight check to see if it occurs to Parker that with the group being told the Batman is not on the faculty, is going to assign missions to the team, knows about the fight with the Zoanoids, if the Batman is here to assign the new Young Justice team their first mission. Insight or Investigation, I think would make sense as the possible skills to use for this particular circumstance. Insight +3 or Investigation +0 (Parker has Jack-of-All-Trades so can make skill checks for all skills). Looking at the Diffculty Class tabe on page 13, the highest DC for this particular check would probably be average (DC 10) as the next DC is tough, which seems would be too high given the circumstances. Insight: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 "Are you here to give us our first mission, sir?" Parker asks the Batman.

His irises of green flame trick activate, though this time Parker winks at her with his right eye, and as his right eyelid opens back up, only his left iris has the flame trick active. A thought occurs to Parker, and he asks Cable, "Sir, are we only allowed to use the boomtubes to travel to our hometowns and back to school...when we're not on missions that is. It is honour to be chosen, sirs. When we don't have class and are not on missions, are we allowed to use them to, say, go see broadway play in New York City with a classmate?" Parker's surface thoughts Cable probably 'hears': <"My ya-yas are not going to believe it! First day and I am on an official superhero team! Get it together, Parker! "Should you ever want to wear some nice inkwork there are clothing sleeves with inkwork designs on them. Most of the ones I have seen are not the best quality, though I have seen a few high-quality ones." Before Parker is about to describe some of the high-quality ones he has seen, Cable's voice comes over the PA system. Parker starts making his way to the special Gym with his classmates. "The coach had us have a foot race. I wonder if he's going to have the flyers amongst us have a race through the air. What other competitions do you think he might have us do?"
