Goldi will be more toward the back of the group with Truffles at her side
Sugar watches Ford do his thing, not seeing what was inside, she does hear the sounds from the other side, what did you do? she asks as she backs up next to truffles. Truffles stay ready.
Goldi gives the animals that have gathers some more food. and lets them go off to their little animal things. getting up and brushing the dirt off of her, I don't like this. cause if the horses are here, that may mean that some of the villagers may still be inside. Does anyone recall if there was anyone missing before we left?
Goldi motions (very carefully) to cast his spell. she does not make any sudden moves. she lets the crow have the first scrap of food, and carefully pulls out a second.
Goldi was rather saddened at the loss of the horses/ponies, she always loved ponies. she considered ponies her friends and we all know Friendship is magic. Truffles keep guard on those doors ordering truffles to watch for trouble from the doors.
going to Ford, What ya got in mind? she asks but soon discovers what he has in mind. If there is an animal nearby, she will use her wild empathy ability to try and convince it that she is friendly.
was looking for a skull and shackles game to try a character idea, recruitment went up and was full in less than 40 minutes. GM took the first 4 people to post interest. I always hated those kind of recruitments
Goldi was actually a little dumbfounded, not realizing what she had. at first she was a little angry at Jil for making her look stupid, but then she realized, yeah guess I was pretty stupid She packs everything back up, Ok, So I'll go first, then Truffles. turning to Truffles, Now you be a good boy and let them lower you on the rope. she says with a smile and a big hug.
Goldi looks through her pack, pulling out all sorts of nick-knacks. nope, nope, nope, sorry, no rope.she says looking rather disappointed.
Goldi rolls her eyes at Truffles, and after he drinks, she nudges him along to catch up with the others. proceeding on goldi spends time keeping Truffles on the path. And from rolling in the mud too much. at one point she simply shrugs and rolls in the mud with Truffles. eventually reaching the hill, we could just slide down, except for those trees and stuff in the way. we could use a rope. she says as Jil pulls out a rope. Truffles can't climb, maybe we can tie a rope around him to lower him down. or, I wonder if there is another path though.
Goldi makes her way closer, catching up with Jil and Truffles. looking around the first thing she notices that this is a campsite, this has been here unused fr as long as the body has been here. something isn't right. looking to Truffles, Snif around boy, look for anything unusual.
Ahh, Jil that may be a bad idea, alone at least. Goldi give a friendly warning. looking to Truffles, You go ahead, stay with Jil, ok

Goldi calms Truffles down. then kneels down over the wolves bodies. I'm sorry it came to this. they were only hungry, but sometimes you do what is needed. Goldi has a little trouble sleeping the night, the events were rather stressful. the travel the next day was exciting, as Goldi made it a point to try and identify every plant and insect along the way. but reaching the lake her eyes go wide with excitement. that's probably the biggest pond I've ever seen. hey there's somebody over there! she says rushing over to see if she can help hey mister you ok? you didn't try and drown did you?
Goldi stays behind her "protector" ready to help him if he becomes to dangerously injured.
Goldi takes the food and slowly approaches the wolves looking as non-threatening as she can.
when she starts to get close enough for them to sense her, she stops and sits down. holding out the food. its alright, I don't want to hurt you guys. you hungry.
wolf, maybe its just a little hungry, I can try and befriend it. give it a little bite to eat. I mean no point harming it unless we really, really, really have to, right? Goldi moves closer next to Aisling. Truffles carefully by her side, ready to protect Goldi if anything goes awry.
hello, work is pissing me off, I can't catch a break. I am free almost all weekend. so Will make an effort to post more. the only good thing is this past month I almost doubled my pay with the amount of extra hours I put in. I am told that they will hire later this year... if anyone interested we are looking to hire up to 85 new union positions this year and maybe more next year.
Truffles stand up at Ford's command, letting Goldi almost fall over on her back. snort he says then trots around Goldi helping her up to her feet. Well, now, shall we get going? I'm sure there is many more things the folks in town have set up for us. she says, brushing herself off.
Goldi was tugging on Truffles, and pushing on him to get out of the dirt. Truffles, come on, the orcs are fake you can go bite them and you'll see. she finally gives up and sits next to truffles, ya know I heard some folks talking in town, there may be more tricks and traps to try and scare us, and stuff.
Goldi looks to truffles, sic-em!
Truffles looks at Goldi then just lays down and starts to roll in the dirt. goldi just stares at him, Your embarrassing me she whispers to Truffles. Yeah those Orcs are funny, I think they are fake and truffles thinks...well he thinks... I really don't know what he thinks right now.
Looking to Truffles, Truffles, guard duty commanding Truffles to gurad her against attacks. and they close the gap slightly moving together.
Once she thinks she has a shot at an Orc she shots it with her trusty sling shot.

Goldi continues on waving and acting as best she can that she did not hear what she was not supposed to hear and that they didn't think they saw that goldi shouldn't have heard what they might have said.
Goldi leans over to Jil whispering to her and tryong to cover Truffle's ears, what does he mean by that not returning part? before leaving, Goldi runs over to giver her Ma and Pa a farewell hug and grab the last of the cookies as well. the runs to catch up with the rest.
Truffles stops eating long enough to go say hello to Olmire but he immediately stops right in front of her and she waves her hand causing truffles to simply lay down. Sugar goes to Truffles, one day I'll learn to do that to. she says indicating that she still has lots to learn. Sugar takes the supplies thank you. I promise to plant them exactly as requested. she heads over to the others signalling for Truffles to follow, which he does.
After the mayor speaks, Goldi tries to compose herself some. she steps forward I will go, Lady Goldilock Sugarsnap, Ferrywarden. And Lord Admiral Trufflll...whaaa she does not finish as Truffles knocks Goldi over trying to get more cookies. sending what is left of the tray all over the place. with an embarrassed look, Goldi just says, we'll go. glancing around the crowd, she spies her parents standing there watching everything. her father starts to just burst out laughing A True Ferrywarden if I evar saw one! as her mother starts to hand out more pastries and treats to the crowd.
Goldi can'y help but giggle at Jil, those are Truffle's cookies silly. meanwhile Truffles rushes over to eat up the crumbs that Jil spit out.
Goldi shows up late, as usual. and Truffles is unexpectedly well behaved, trotting along beside Goldi. She has a pack slung over her shoulder, and she is carrying a big tray fill of cookies. the smell of fresh baked cookies linger all around her. hey guys, Ma made a batch of her famous cookies to celebrate the send-off, just like every year. she offers the cookies to everyone, on the side of the platter is a small batch of green colored "cookies" with little pieces of leaves poking out. the rest of the cookies are pretty much normal sugar cookies, cut to look like little lanterns

Goldi smiles and rushes upstairs joining the others. listening to the information, she also feels a little bad about her creepy girl comment. I guess your right. I still have one last cookie. Goldi pulls out a cookie, a little smushed but still edible. going over to Aisling, Sorry bout that creepy girl thing, you can have my last cookie, and if you want, Pa is gonna make some of his famous pattoned out of this world moon waffles with honey. you can come over if you want.
Godi had been spending several minutes trying to tie up Truffles, knowing the last time they let him in the great hall. now you be good, and i'll bring you a real good treat. ok? she says trying to teach Truffles to stay put. By the time everything is in order, she realizes everyone has left without her. Hey, where did everyone go? she looks about worried that someone was pulling a prank on her. She rushes inside the Great hall looking about frantically for the others. HELLO? you guys in here? Ford? Jil? Creepy girl? she yells looking all about checking doors and hallways.

Goldi returns the hug, and secretly produces a fresh baked cookie she took from Ma's kitchen shhhh, a preview of what Ma made for us before heading out. she whispers offering half the cookie to her friend and shoving the other half in her mouth. she turns to see Ford Oh, shorry, didn't shee you, you wan a cookie too? she says (mouth full of cookie) as she searches for another cookie in her pockets.
The calm of the town square is broken as a cart is suddenly flipped over as a small boar all decked out in pink and red ribbons and multi-colored painted hooves. SNORT...SNORT...SNORT the boar snorts charging directly toward Jilhanna. Truffles! comes the next familiar voice. a halfling girl with her toenails painted to match the hooves of the boar is chasing the boar. I'm so sorry, I'll pay you back, I promise she calls to the cart owner, now cursing at Truffles as he runs by. Truffles plows right into Jilhanna knocking her to the ground and licking her like a puppy, and sniffing her all over looking for snacks. Truffles, stop that! I'm so sorry Goldi tries to pull Truffles off of Jil.
I am good either way. We did have some late arrivals so a small intro could help though.
Goldi's eyes grow wide in excitement. she never even opens the letter, but instead she jumps up to hug Chubby. eventually letting go she runs back into the kitchen, MA! PA! look, I'm gonna go this year! she yells with excitement. meanwhile Truffles craws out from under a table almost knocking it over. with several snorts he sniffs around Chubby's feet.
Goldi was already up early helping her mom bake cookies for the upcoming travelers to light the lantern. You think I can go this year mom? Truffles really would love to go and he's been real good. he hasen't run through the market in over a week, and even longer since he got into the trash at the Silvers Inn. Relax my little "Sugar bowl", You know that Olmira has been very vocal about you going this year, Lilly (her mom) responded, besides I am sure that the time you and truffles are away the town can make more preparations in peace. adding in a little jokingly. mom! Truffles might be listening Goldi retorts, as she sneaks a cookie. suddenly there is a thump on the door, I'll get it! Goldi yells with a mouth full of cookie sending crumbs all over, which Truffles snorts his way over to lick up rather quickly. As Goldi opens the door, Hi Olmira she says expecting her mentor to be at the door, before even looking at who was actually there.
"Hi Aisling" a cute little halfling girl asks looking at Aisling real close, "You should smile more. Maybe you are ticklish, Truffles like to have his belly rubbed, you wanna rub his belly?"

I just PM'd the GM, and due to lots of RL commitments I need to reduce my games. unfortunately I will need to drop Goldi from this game.
Goldi stays put urging Ka'narg to take the skeleton down. she pats him on the butt for encouragement and Ka'narg feels a small surge of magic run through him.
