My question is if I qualify for a style feat like earth child style with out meeting the prerequisites Do I get a defensive training bonus to my dodge ac when I use my swift action to start my style. If not could the feat be updated to add +2 greater defensive training bonus to your dodge ac like a Deep Gnome or Kasatha. Or at least some type of adjustment for the ones who take the feat and aren't a race with a defensive fighting training racial trait.
Thanks. ![]()
use my monk idea hungry ghost and master of many styles with qinggong and monk vows these arch types stack up legitly and u want to get dragon style with ur monk bonus feat and crane style with ur level one character feat if ur a human get deflect arrow or dodge. then at second level ur bonus monk feat is dragon ferocity letting u qualify for elemental fist as a four wind monk third level character feat is tiger style. fifth level feat is tiger claws and six level bonus monk feat is one of the elemental fist style feats whatever one u want to be doing ur 7th level character feat is elemental fist and the one ability u get to change slow fall and jump can be switched for a Ki arrow and deny death at 7th level ur ki arrow is gonna hit like a hammer and ur double first strike for dragon tiger style is gonna be totaling 2d8 plus 40ish depending on how high ur strength gets 22 is perfect giving u a 2d8 plus 36 take heavy hitter trait for one more damage and indomitable faith for the will save bonus After that when ur level 14 or 17 ur gonna be using 4 styles at once crane dragon tiger and snapping turtle so with a 25 point character u can have average ac fighting defensively round 26 to 28 depending on ur wisdom and dex. Plus there a lot of decent spells the monks qinggong archtype opens up. Ur not running outta Ki every kill ur steal ki and life with the hungry ghost so u have staying power. That elemental fist is gonna be 4 or 5d6 of ur chose of element and ur gonna get a little breath weapon with those style feats. No prestige classing needed. Though dragon disciple is open since u can cast spontaneous level 1 spells. horizon walker is also open depending on ur feat selection and so will shadow dancer those are the top 3 to pick from i lean hard to the horizon walker grants u a lot of good resistances when u master the terrain on them. Good luck friend see how they handle a hard hitting monk. ![]()

Maybe take the crusader archetype for weapon focus early on, maybe dip monk later for crusader's flurry and flurry with said tetsubo. Nice out look that would be a tough toon with great saving throws ![]()
I like taking a level or two if ninja in a class when the invisibility and sneak attack adds up can u successfully feint and sneak attack each round, did u take the trait bonus to damage when sneaking or flanking to really max it out, also ones that stack monk and sneak attacks heavy hitting and flanking u end up adding 4 to the damage of your unarmed sneak attacks then theres str and if your getting a bit ridiculous like i like to get and have a heavy indepth arch type and well placed feats the damage adds up. Try style master/hungry ghost/qingong monk vow with ur first two level as ninja for your trick get that recipricating damage ability with dragon ferocity and tiger claw you can shred but naked lol. My monks level 5 i am a hungry ghost/master of many style, qinggong, monk vows arch type it works no over laps right? that is the first question. second i take ki arrows and true strike as my jump and slow fall ability changes, i have heavey hitter 1 and 2 for traits and my dual style is tiger style and claw and dragon style and ferocity i am wondering when i twin claw attack as i call it with the first attack of the round does dragon style and ferocity str bonuses affect that single attack? And can i true strike that single attack and use it with Ki arrow?

level 7 monk archtype-Master of many styles/hungry ghost/ Qinggong/Monk Vows race human str 20/ 23 Int 12 fort 8, reflex 7 will 10 dex 16 wis 20 Ki Pool 31 monk 8, vows 16, favored class 7 Con 17 chr 8 Ac 19 touch 16 Base attack 5 feats and abilities

Also Can I assume My Ki arrow does all that since it is my unarmed strike so lets go range too minus -2 on the attack or three depending on dexterity. ![]()
ya that part i got i was wondering about the one double fist attack that both those style feats alone with the master of many styles has got going for it, loosing flurry of blows is big so i was seeing how i could take advantage of that. I think at level 5 using this set i will get melee results i am looking for. Maybe even put cleave back on the map ![]()
And on with stacking, Master of many style while in dragon style and tiger style ( dragonstyle, dragon ferocity, and tiger style and tiger claw) level 5 Hungry ghost master of many styles and qinggon cause u got to have true strike and whatever other ability deny death scorching ray or barkskin str 22 for purposes of tally this all up if i have it right. attack +8 (minus one from power attack) 1d8 unarmed
