As Varos falls, the Gladiator meets his eyes, and salutes him as a worthy opponent. After the life has left the man, he turns to the crowd with sword raised to absorb the cheers of his victory.
Gotta move at least 10 feet, and in a Straight line
So you are charging to square g19
K, no worries.

Since you had not pre-rolled the attack from your post prior to round 8, we'll assume if you had, it would be the roll you made in round 8. Going forward, if you ready an action, please make a new roll each time. In a table top situation, you wouldn't roll till the action happened. But since we are doing PBP, rolling each round will speed stuff up :-)
I'm confused. edit: I pre-rolled for each readied action since round 4, but take whichever one is appropriate.
Did he finish his movement? If not, disregard the +2 for charging, and make it a regular move/attack.
""If the triggered action is part of another character's activities, you interrupt the other character. Assuming he is still capable of doing so, he continues his actions once you complete your readied action."
I'll ready an action - if he comes within 35 feet, I'll throw the axe at him.
Attack - 1d20 + 3 - 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 - 3 = 1the move probably wouldn't help me anyway
Since I haven't moved this round, I'd like to 5-foot step to put the wall between Varos and myself, after I throw. As I understand it, this should be possible.
Stealth 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
I remain still and quiet, and ready an action to throw an axe if that crazy little cyclops gets close.
For clarification, the throwing axe is in my main hand.
Should I wait for any feedback after Varos moves (perception, etc.) or just take my action? I might do something else, if a perception check pans out, and I hear something.
All of the material to determine an opponents DC is readily available in the book.
- +1 per 10'(Calculated at your destination and distance from target)
- +20 on the other side of a wall (I would actually make 2 spoilers, the first saying you hear footsteps or something similar on the other side of the wall for the flat DC, and the square you are in at the DC+20)
Where did you get that number from? The PRD says it is +10 per 1 foot of thickness of the wall, and the walls are 5 feet thick. It gives +20 for invisible creatures, but as far as I understand, that is not the case for either Varos or myself.
Someone could meet the technical requirements for a spoiler - i.e. a Perception check, but still not be able to see someone who is behind the 15 foot walls - how do you want us to present that, since we may not know whether or not they can see us? For instance, regardless of his perception roll, Varos should not be able to see my movement, assuming he is in his current spot on the map. From another vantage point, this might not be the case. If I don't know where he is, I can't determine this, and if he doesn't know where I am, neither can he.
Quick question - if the walls are 15 ft. high, we wouldn’t be able to see each other after the illusions appear, right? Would it be possible to have separate maps?
The gladiator steps into the arena, sizing up his opponent. He cracks his knuckles, and ensures that his weapons are ready, but is otherwise silent.
And his opponent! A man with no past and no name! Will this mysterious warrior be reborn here, in blood? Two daring fighters face each other in the arena, but one… will… FALL!
"Hmm… interesting tactics. I wonder how he expected that charge to turn out - or maybe he was just eager to meet his deity. Well, time to see what the madman is made of."
*Xythian pauses a moment in the room's doorway, turning his head slightly to watch those within the room with his peripheral vision. A small slim smile seems to form on his face as he then continues his graceful stride, exiting the room.*
*A foul pungent odor wafts through the gladiators' room.*
*Xythian heads up to the arena early to get a good seat for the fight.
1. It's a fight to the death. Simply charming/dominating somebody does not end the match.
2. Characters must act to harm their opponent within 1d4 rounds (because the crowd gets bored) or archers that ring the arena will open fire (A series of boos from the crowd before the firing commences lets players know when their time is about up).
Is there any thumbs up/down opportunity if you defeat your opponent (0 hp)? I think it would be cool for observers to chime in, especially if someone put up a really good fight, and they want to see them fight again.
Sent by his legatus, the Great Lekku, this one has not yet earned a name. Should he survive, perhaps he will be given one. He has no past, and no future. He lives only to further the glory of his master in the arena.
