Gilbere regards the tall Ulfen holy warrior of Torag, "Naw notta this time, something's got me o'bit perplexed." Looking down at his finely groomed beard smirking a little, "Besides, curlz not really somethin a dwarf be wantin in his beard." he finishes brightened by the thot, as if he seems to recall a funny story related to a dwarf who had that problem.

Gilbere seems sullen about something watches the drinking game with interest.

Sense Motive DC 15:
Gilbere does not seem to be in a drinking mood perhaps it's something he saw recently has made him look forlorn.

Priyya listens very carefully to all that Shalelu has said. So much of this seems to surround the Old Light. Priyya taps Gilbere with her foot to draw his attention and stop him from gawking at the Elf. "Gilbere, what do you know of the Thassolian deities and worship practices? Was ritual sacrifice part of their rites?"

Gilbere attempts to remember any information of the Ancient Thassolian worship practices from history, stroking his finely braided beard contemplatively.

"Ye gotta a fella waitin fer ya back in yer home lands?" Gilbere says with more than a little interest and a wink. He is more than a little smitten with the elf maid.

"Let's press on, follow the wagon then!" Gilbere says with a pipe between his teeth.

Shadow Lodge

Male Dwarf Wizard / 1

Drawing a long puff from his pipe and thinking aloud "I would check the trail that will go coldest the quickest".

Shadow Lodge

Gilbere sad that everyone wants to move now, sighs and gets up knowing he is prolly the only party member who can see in the dark, regardless of lighting.

Dusting himself off and hefting his amber-topped staff he follows the group into the night.

Shadow Lodge

Male Dwarf Wizard / 1

Gilbere grabs his cup protectively, to ensure it does not spill it's precious liquid inside. He eyes the half-elf like a Orc barbarian for a second, then happy nothing is spilt drinks his ale forgeting the whole matter. Popping another grilled skewer into his mouth he closes his eyes and dreams whatever prissy dwarf wizards dream of while listening to what the others have to say.

See ya tomorrow

"Further is anyone else missing and if so what kind of people where they?" he finishes sitting back full tummy and happy he pulls out his pipe and tobacco. "The guilty tend to disappear after a crime." he muses and lights his pipe.

Shadow Lodge

Male Dwarf Wizard / 1

Putting down a skewer and gulping some ale, he gingerly wipes his mouth.

Gilbere then regales and recounts his brilliant plan, (if he does say, oh so humbly) in epic story form, to charm on of the lil green bugger. How he used his considerable knowledge of the arcane fire powers to save all the other members of the group single handedly (sweeping his hand about, using prestidigitation for effect).

With a playful wink to his comrades, he continues on, with the good fortune of creature survived fighting against his fellows, how he blabbed on about a 'long-shanks' character which is a humanoid, possibly a human like us who ordered the attack on the town. Finally Gilbere caught in his own words, begins to digress on how dirty and smelly the little creatures are and their horrible eating habits, (shivering to himself), how uncivilized the little green blighters where...etc

This is an attempt to add some levity to a hard situation, and not to break the great meal that Priyya has prepared after a long hard time.

"Priyya, bet yer a fine cache both on the battlefield, as a comrade, and in the hearth!"
With amusement, Priyya marks how Gilbere's compliment (which she appreciates) is about her utilitarian skills. She waits until his mouth is stuffed with rice and meat before responding sweetly, "Oh, yes. I'm quite handy: good on the battlefield, good at the hearth... and we haven't even touched my skills in the bedchamber."

Gilbere cheeks bursting with food, turns bright red, at the candor of the warrior priestess. Nearly choking on his dinner he sputters and guffaws. Eventually drinking some ale to compose himself.

Shadow Lodge

Male Dwarf Wizard / 1

Gilbere is too engrossed in food but does mention the glass maker and the walks along the cliff

Gilbere liking the idea of a wager, says "I'll take tha bet." and slaps down a couple silver smiling thinking of Kord squeezing info from a goblin would be good entertainment.

Shadow Lodge

Male Dwarf Wizard / 1

Excited as if he had seen a beautiful naked female, Gilbere closes his eyes inhaling the differing aromas in turn savoring every experience with moans of ecstasy (food and ale being his greatest weakness). With a wide crazed smile of glee like a child at a holiday, Gilbere rubs his hands together expectedly awaiting a heaping plate of food he will dish up. "This looks and smells great Priyya, bet yer a fine cache both on the battlefield, as a comrade, and in the hearth!" Gilbere finishes making the old dwarven complement.

Saying a fast prayer of thanks to Torag, Gilbere tries each dish but seems to favor the Samosas, Skewers and Grilled Tomatoes trying dollops of all four kinds of curries with almost a food connoisseur or alchemical excitement to try the varying dishes experiencing each savory spicy bite.

He muses to Kord, "Barring any other news of more portent I might take me a stroll along the cliffs tamarra", gulping his ale.

"Aye, fine pick on me in me weakened state, all this talking makes a dwarf hungry" he finishes with a sly wink. However he stays with in earshot of the two women concerned for the kind inn keeper.

Looking to Kord he whispers, "Oy lad, frum what I overheard, her Dah takes walks by the cliffs or the old light? So where be these walks, hmm?" nudging the Varisian. "Perhaps we might find him or some answers about the town's attack there if he disappeared near there." he finishes picking up Kords cup and sipping his ale.

Gilbere grumbles at spending any money but will do it. Although he is not afraid to walk it, as long as he does not get too dirty. In which case he will bemoan and use his prestidigitation spell.

After Gilbere ends the little goblins life he sighs long, looking down at his former thralls corpse.

Sense Motive DC 10:
Gilbere is sad that his spell did not last longer but is also relieved that the goblin was not able to hurt any more towns folk or his companions.

Suddenly and furiously begins scrubbing a dirty spot on his robes as if he had a bee in them. In part due to that he noticed some real or imaginary grime or dirt on them. Gilbere becomes so distracted and flustered he walks away drawing upon his prestidigitation spell to clean himself for the third time. Bemoaning that the smell of dead goblins is still in his clothes. Leaving all questions as to the 'morality' of his decision behind, Gilbere heads for the nearest strong drink he can find at the Rusty Dragon.
