Set on erasing the spriggan cohorts to avoid them take advantage of their positioning, Ghsotwind grinds his teeth when the morningstar hits him and quickly strikes back.
Shaking off the faerical influence, Ghostwind slowly walks around the big spriggan in order to capitalise from their numbers. Once more, he attacks with both sword and sorcery.
Ghostwind swiftly enchants his sword with magical power, then enters the dwelling only to find two large faes warding the door. He takes advantage from the cover given by the doorstep to close in on one of them and invokes his deadly energies.
I was about to post yesterday, thinking about my action, but sleep was way faster.
Ghostwind nods, but he knows his attacks lose part of their power if readied, and he's quite squishy himself if stealth is our of the equation. He opts, then, for a bit more defensive approach.
While the rest of the party go straight, Ghostwind decides to stay a bit away and sneak, just in case their received with lethal force. In that case, there's a chance they won't expect an extra combatant.
Stealth:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Can someone please move me along the southern trees?
"Greetings, Elder" Ghostwind says. He sounds quite neutral, not wanting to create hope or deny it before they know the facts. "Please, show us where the gnomes attacked while you tell us what happened with detail."
Ghostwind approaches His Majesty from behind and whispers. "Majesty, this could well be the beginning of the Storm Crow's vision. We should address it before it's too late."
"There are ways to extract this info from his dead brains..."
Thankfully, these are not the ways of Thabernia. Hopefully, the tengu will stay for dinner and maybe overnight, and a thorough conversation could shed more light on the matter.
Ghostwind stays silent, not feeling like adding anything to what the others have said. His face, though, shows clear signs of paying attention to what the tengu does or says. "These creatures are also known for being consummate swordsmen. It's a rare thing to be able to witness their style."
Interesting. I envisioned Ghostwind as being an outlander, and a former slave. Having a neighbour country with active slavery seems quite conveninent. Lemme sleep on it and read a bit more about that country and I'll tell you, but the chances are quite high on "yeah".
Ghostwind also hates slavers, so he's totally in favor of any action against them.
Note that Sacred Geometry only allows you to cast a spell whose modified level you could cast anyway.
About Blood Money, I'm fairly certain the exploit has to do with Restoration somehow.
In any case, I haven't had experience with those so I can't tell.
On the death status thing, all systems have their pros and cons. I think the 5e one is more player friendly, though, so I guess if we want a higher survival then that's where we should head to.
There's another code which might be helpful. It lets you link an URL and even name the link, and the code is, it couldn't be otherwise, [url][/ url]. If you want a specific name, then you'll do something like this:
[u r l=linkhere.com]Name you want to display[/ url]
This is useful if you can link features instead of copying the whole text in the alias. For example:
Of course, that's useful for me because I create all my characters manually - if you use a character builder app, you might find it easier to just copypaste everything in the alias.
Finally, you can use more than one code of you put one into the other, like this:
