Garrand takes a 5'step and casts glitterdust (DC15 will neg)

the spell has 10' radius area of effect. I think I should be able to catch #1 and #2 without hitting any party members but I'll trust the GM to figure out the best placement.

Time for some audience participation Garrand takes a shot at the fleeing Fake Adria...

Garrand will exit the beast's belly with alacrity and take a shot at false Adria.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Garrand will start humming a tune to inspire courage (+1 to hit and damage).

I guess locking us in a vat of acid qualifies as a suspicious action

That can't really be Adria, can it?

Damn, I was trying to match the flavor of the script :-)

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

The outside perspective has been fun! Keep it up Xeno!

Garrand looks around at the audience as the devil falls. The play has clearly gone off scrip but the show must go on. He'll ad lib a line to try and get things back on track

You summoned a servant of our great Dark Lord to do battle. And yet, instead of fighting it threw it weapon away and gladly sacrificed itself to Drovalid's mace. The trial by combat has ended and I have been found true to my word and to the Dark Lord. Have you another summoning great magistrate? Another for you to accuse in your stead?

Garrand casts grease on the devil's glaive (DC14 reflex to avoid dropping the weapon.)

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Alas, +3 to overcome silver. Weapon Enhancement Bonus Equivalent

Garrand will start singing, inspire courage, +1 to hit and damage. He'll pick up his bow and arrows as a move action.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

I think you might be enjoying this a bit too much Nilus... :-)

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

It's fun reading. There aren't many roleplay opportunities in a play that's following a script anyway so it makes sense just to narrate it.

perform acting: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Garrand will spend his time smoozing with the other actors. He'll make sure that he's not upstaging anyone but use his performance to enhance theirs, even Ulvauno's. If he's going to make the man look foolish he'll wait for the actual performance <evil grin>.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Who? Garrand or Robahl? Works either way I suppose :-)

GM: Dave the Dwarf wrote:
Garrand you siding with Cal or Robahl?

Both. With Calseinica he'll take on the role of devoted older brother, with Robahl the eager student. He'll make sure to mention to Robahl how much Calseinica reminds him of his own sister.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Garrand will take the opportunity to talk with each of the participants when he can find them by themselves. Unlike his obvious contempt for Ulvauno, he is all smiles for the others.

To Robahl Nonon—Infamous Director, "It is my great honor maestro to finally have a opportunity to work with you."
diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

To Visbaronetess Delour Aulamaxa —Arrogant Diva, "It has always been my ambition to have a chance to share the stage as you Visbaronetess. I can only hope my poor skills don't detract from your stellar performance."
diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

To Calseinica Nymm is—Rising Starlet, "My dear! Your name is on everyone's lips. I am so glad that I have this chance to share the stage with you this early in your career. With your natural talent soon you'll be acting in venues well beyond my meager reach."
diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27

To Millech the Hump, "Ah, and here's the most important man in the company!" He'll give the man a knowing look, "You receive none of the glory or accolades and yet without you the whole production falls to pieces doesn't it."
diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Shorsha's suggestion to purchase a Handy Haversack is a good one. Garrand has enough gold if he can find one a book price (1000gp).

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Not much else to say. Unless there's an opportunity to gather some intel before the gig.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

You sure Adria shouldn't be the 'member of the council demands a trial mostly because she wants to have sex with the Tifeling' character? :-)

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Garrand will describe the play to the room with the facial expression of someone holding a bucket of rotting fish at arms length.

Garrand will wave his hand as if to dismiss the subject and deflect any other questions.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

"It is a good plan, it just brings back ugly memories. When I was young my parents where part of an acting troop that took a gig for House Sarini that went very badly. My mother was raped and killed." He shakes his head to try and distance himself from the memory

knowledge local: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
what does Garrand know about 'The Six Trials of Larazod'? Knowledge local seems the most appropriate skill, either that or Perform acting at +9

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Well, it's a bit of a stretch...

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

You'd think he'd be overjoyed to play an actor wouldn't you? If your character is curious they can ask. If it's just you, it's in his background. ;-)

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Garrand will stare angrily at Janiven for a moment before nodding abruptly, "It'll do." He'll stomp off and brood.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

"Do we know anyone inside? We could use some more information."

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Since we have the itemized list of where they came from I'd suggest we should. It's a lot of money, but it will buy us a lot of good will.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Garrand rolls his eyes dramaticly, "Sure, and now I'm your drycleaner"

Cast Prestidigitation (DC13 if you want to avoid being dry-cleaned :-)

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

"You're giving me your heart? I'm touched." Garrand says dryly making no attempt to actually touch the still steaming heart.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

"Nice souvenir. What does one do with the excised hearts of their enemies? Stuffed and mounted on a placard over the mantel? Pickled in a jar of alcohol? Have a rousing game of tether heart?"

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Well, Garrand is a bard so I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to sing our praises. :-)

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Days probably. We need to figure out a way to announce to the city that the bastards reign of terror is ended. And more importantly that we ended it.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

wasn't one of those a potential critical Sorsha?

If Garrand hasn't already started to inspire courage he'll start that, if he has then...
longbow: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 1 = 8 <sigh>

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Backsliding a bit aren't we? Garand will ask with a raised eyebrow.

How many more are there? If we're in combat Garrand will start an inspirational tune.

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

before we burst into the room...

Garand whispers, "What do you mean, invulnerable to weapons?"

"Can you open it?"

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Anyone else get the impression that Nilus is really "Tired of these mo&^&^#@ dogs in this Mo&%#@%%^$ place!"

Male Elf Bard/4 HP:23/23 | AC 17/13/14| CMD 16 | F+2 R+7 W+4

Adria, I know I said earlier that piercing weapons don't bypass DR/bludgeoning but is the "spirit dagger" you're attacking with from the spell spiritual weapon? If so, despite the spell appearing as a dagger, it's a spell effect that does force damage and bypasses DR.
