Thanks for the recap!

As far as looking out the Airlock, Galatea doesn't need to breath, so I am perfectly fine doing a space walk, if we want a perimeter inspection.

I've been watching the Expanse, so I am ready for mag-boots & clicky boot heels!

At work, so quick phone post, can I get a break down of who has & hasn't been controlled to this point? I feel like I need a score card ...

The PC's haven't been controlled, this is logical, they escaped the Research Facility ...

Galatea hasn't been controlled, this is illogical, she wasn't on the Research Facility ...

Breez, hasn't been controlled, but that could be a combination of injury & pain meds ...

Who among the other Stewards has been controlled?
Who among the mercenaries has been controlled?

I know it's alot of paperwork, I am just trying to get a sense of things ...

Galatea, seemingly lost in her own thoughts, eyes flickering back and forth in a rapid, inhuman manner, snapped back to the situation at hand. Her brow furrowed at T'sorkel's telepathic intrusion, a grim look crossing her face as her lips pressed into a thin, cold line.

T’sorkel wrote:
"Whoever is responsible for this is probably on that ship. It worries me if they are able to take over anyone's mind or if the mercenaries were somehow prepped for this takeover. It does not seem like it happened willingly though."

She nodded her agreement, "I can only imagine the technology to transmit subconscious commands to multiple receivers implanted in subjects through out a target ship, is complicated, to say the least. As such, in my opinion, venting a plasma stream from aft power couplings, would allow us to target the vessel." She paused a moment, before continuing, watching as John secured the prisoners, and waiting for his return. "If engaged in tactical maneuvering, their ability to transmit complicated data to specific embedded devices would be significantly compromised."

As she awaited for her allies input on her, admittedly, scant tactical analysis, she turned towards Rar'gul, nodding.

Rar'gul wrote:
"If he's being ccooperrative, it might be worrth rrunning some tests and scans," he offers with a shrug.

"I would be happy to perform a medical evaluation of the Lashuntan, if you would care to take a brief moment to gather yourself before we attempt to engage our pursuers." Looking towards the Lashuntan, she formed what was the approximation of a smile. "If you please?" With a wave of her hand, indicating the medical bay. "A cursory examination to determine the cause of your fugue state."

Out of Combat Actions: Galatea will help herself to the batter from the Arc Pistol, unless anyone else needs it. Overcharge is harsh on Batteries! ;) Secondly, she will perform a cursory examination on the lashunta, if they consent. Medical Examination: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21.

I am sorry I ghosted there for a bit folks, son was admitted to the hospital a week ago. Somewhat scary, however, *not* pandemic related, and he's home now. Just wasn't in the head space to be creative for a bit there ...

Just wanted to apologize for disappearing for a while. If we're still continuing I would be happy to do so, if you had to replace me, I entirely understand.

Again, my apologies for not updating sooner.

Yeah, this is an eight or nine day stretch at work for me so my posting slowed down. I'll try to get something up tonight.

Kaniko Breez wrote:
“Then there’s only a few of us unaccounted for. We’ve got to check on them. Maybe they were able to resist whatever was done to us. But if they weren’t, we need to take them down alive.”

"We will endeavor to resolve the current situation in a manner which prioritizes the life of your squad. I, personally, hold no animosity for the actions of Pike and your fellow mercenaries, they are being manipulated by outside forces." The android paused, "If given the opportunity to confront those responsible however ...," she let the sentiment drift off as she continued the scan. She was a member of the Steward's, neutralize threats, detain, and prosecute, however, in the face of so insidious a foe, could she be expected to observe those directives? Would she care if she did not? A dilemma for another time perhaps.

Galatea seemed pleased that the Doctor was taking a moment to herself. The woman had been under significant stressors since her escape from the facility, coupled with these most recent events, the android was unsure if she, herself, would be able to handle it any better.

Doctor Flint-Bridge II wrote:
“I’m going to rest here a bit, Galatea. Can you make any sense of why Breez wasn't affected by the mind control?”

Galatea pondered the question while observing the data, "Difficult to say Doctor, if we could narrow down the 'vector' in which the commands were issued that could help. Telepathic? Psychologically programming? Neural transmitters?" Cross referencing Kaniko's initial diagnosis with the medications and sedatives, "At this point my working theory is that the pain medication that rendered Breez insensate, also buffered her from any psychological programming, telepathic contact, or neural overrides that may have occurred. While worth investigation, it does not provide us with much defense beyond sedating ourselves into oblivion."

Galatea looked at Breez with coldly logical eyes, "No, your companions have been subdued with non-lethal force. They are being restrained so they do not pose a threat to themselves or other members of this crew."

She quizzically regarded the mercenary, "May I perform a scan to ensure that there is no neural trauma related to your condition, or this most recent telepathic assault on the crew of this vessel?"

OOC: If she submits to the scan, I am attempting to determine how she was able to resist the conditioning that caused her fellow mercenaries to attack us. Medicine check, if Breez consents: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34. This will likely allow us a 10 minute rest, for those injured who need to recover Stamina. Also, is anyone down to HP's and in need of Treat Deadly Wounds?

Galatea nodded at Rawlins, "Brig, end of this hall, two person caaapacity. Be tight if you plan on throwing all the Perytons in there," she shrugged. "Not like you've got many options."

Assessment spoke she moved towards the medbay doors, punching in an override code to bypass the lockout. "Let's get them restrained, and out of their armor," turning to Flint-Bridge, "examine them for any evidence of recent surgical examination?"

Frustrated by the narrow corridor, Galatea focused a moment, her exocortex interfacing with her visual processor. As she did so, time seemed to slow down for a fraction of a second, computations of angles, distances and trajectories flooded her peripheral vision, as a reticle snapped into place over the vesk. She double checked the Arc pistols charge, dampened the safety protocols, and snapped an overcharged shot at her target.

OOC: Move action to initiate Combat Tracking on the Vesk, providing me with a BaB of 5, rather than 3, a +2 bonus. Standard Action to Overcharge & Fire the Arc Pistol, still set to non-lethal, at the Vesk. So BaB 5, Dex 5, and Weapon Focus, 1, for a total to-hit of +11 vs Eac, To-hit vs EAC: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28, for Electric Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4) + 2 = 9. Hopefully it hits this time, this hallway is getting crowded!

Galatea noted the unconscious form of the dwarf, nodded at her companions, "Perhaps remove his armor, and apply binders, to ensure he doesn't hurt himself, or others when he regains consciousness." She looked to the closed door, "Breez is still confined in medbay, though the mercenary possesses heavy weaponry, please stand back from the line of fire."

As she stood at the door, she had her exocortex release the lock engaging the hallway door, while she overrode the safety parameters on her Arc Pistol, and fired a shot at the Vesk hoping to down him quickly.

OOC: Move action to draw my Side Arm, I will have my Exocortex Remote Hack the door to release the lock, preventing me from using Combat Tracking while it does so. I will then use my standard to overcharge my Arc pistol & fire. Ranged Attack vs Vesk's EAC: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21, for Electric, Non Lethal Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 5) + 2 = 10. Hopefully that'll get him.

The android nodded her agreement, though, given the thoroughly chaotic nature and sudden turn of events, she could not blame Rawlins for the lapse.

"I concur, let us make haste to assist your allies. The vesk's laser can slag through interior doors with sufficient time, placing Breez at risk." She checked the battery on her electric prod, noticing it was dangerously low from the surge her exocortex had channeled through it. While descending the elevator she swapped the battery with the one from the lashunta's laser rifle.

Female LN Android Quartermaster Exocortex Mechanic 5 | SP 33/35 HP 34/34 | RP 6/6 | EAC 21; KAC 24; CMAC: 32 | Fort +5; Ref +11; Will +2 | Init: +7 | Perc: +12, SM: -1 | Speed 30ft | Active Effects: Infosphere (Perception), Memory Module (Medicine) | Conditions: None.

Galatea began frantically cutting into the comms, broadcasting both to her allies and to the stranded Breez. "Isolating the dwarven mercenary, locking hallway and medbay doors."

She then began running through the sub-routines from the command console on the bridge, attempting to lock the Vesk in the hallway, while preventing him from attacking either the survivors, or Breez herself.

OOC: So a Mechanic's Exocortex, when NOT combat tracking, can do a Standard Action to break into a computer system, if the Mechanic spends THEIR action to do a computer check, it effectively cuts the time required in half. I am trying to grab control of the ship's internal security measures, specifically door controls and lighting. My intention is to isolate the Vesk, leaving my allies to beat the dwarf into submission. I would like to, if the roll succeeds by enough to alternate the lighting in the Vesk's hallway between intense brightness and complete darkness to disorient them.

So here goes Computer check with Exocortex halving time requirements: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32. Hopefully that works.

Remember harrying fire is an option to give the next (Repositioning) attack a +2 to hit, coupled with Get 'em will certainly help. Combat Manuevers are **SO** difficult to get off.

And yeah, leaving the bridge unguarded is bad, we'd need two to stay, Galatea can volunteer if needed.

Watching the survivors move quickly, she almost stops Rawlins from murdering the kasathan mercenary, before realizing that the arc pistol has now been set to stun. Once subdued, she checked the elven merc's long arm, slinging it over her shoulder.

Noting Breez's plea for aid, she nods towards her companions. "Thank you for the aid on the bridge, if possible, can we ensure that all weapons are set stun." A pause, "I would prefer to avoid killing my crew, they are not in control of their actions." Her face set, eyes cold, "Though if we find the ones responsible ...," her voice drifted off not willing to complete the thought. Yet.

Question for future combats, the *only* qualifier for EAC vs KAC is whether or not an attack deals Energy damage, my Electric Prod deals 1d4 Electrical damage. Does it target KAC or EAC, even though it is a melee weapon?

Also, what an uninspiring (Sorry Doc!) round! Three ones!

Female LN Android Quartermaster Exocortex Mechanic 5 | SP 33/35 HP 34/34 | RP 6/6 | EAC 21; KAC 24; CMAC: 32 | Fort +5; Ref +11; Will +2 | Init: +7 | Perc: +12, SM: -1 | Speed 30ft | Active Effects: Infosphere (Perception), Memory Module (Medicine) | Conditions: None.

Galatea rolled her shoulder, however she felt the tactical knife slip between the ceramic-alloy plating and jab into the plas-steel mesh worn underneath. It would leave a bruise, but no internal damage. As the survivors sprung into action, she heard the Doctor's voice, it called to hear in a manner that was, almost, inspiring, had her own Steward's ever shown such concern for her during a conflict?

It emboldened her, she hefted the prod again, her exocortex overloading it's safety protocols, it wouldn't kill the ysoki, but it would singe their coat. Sadly, as it appeared they were trying to resist whatever this was, mental domination? Programming? Conditioning? She would have time to determine the results after ...

The crack of Rawlin's arc pistol oxidized the air in the bridge, they needed to put their attackers down. Now.

OOC: Move Action: Combat Tracking on Sparkles. Standard Action: Over Charge the Electric Prod, attack Sparkles who should be Flat Footed due to Rawlin's trick attack. Melee Attack vs KAC: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10, for Electric+Overcharge damage: 1d4 + 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (1) + (1) + 9 = 11.

Now, it does read, "As a Standard Action, you can use your custom rig to overcharge and attack with a ranged energy weapon or powered melee weapon you are holding." To me it seems that I can overcharge & attack on the same round, is that not the case?

If not, would I be able to swap tricks, because using a standard action to boost an allies attack by a d6 is less effective than just shooting myself for weapon damage plus specialization.

Female LN Android Quartermaster Exocortex Mechanic 5 | SP 33/35 HP 34/34 | RP 6/6 | EAC 21; KAC 24; CMAC: 32 | Fort +5; Ref +11; Will +2 | Init: +7 | Perc: +12, SM: -1 | Speed 30ft | Active Effects: Infosphere (Perception), Memory Module (Medicine) | Conditions: None.

Quick question for GMQ, Galatea's combat strategy is contingent on two things, and I wanted to clarify that they work in the manner I suspect they do, or if you interpret it differently.

So the Powered property reads as follows;

A melee weapon with an internal battery that must be charged to function has the powered special property, which lists its capacity and usage. Unlike with a ranged weapon, the usage is for 1 minute of operation rather than per attack, though using a powered weapon for less than 1 full minute still expends 1 full usage.

So Galatea spends 1 charge, and her Electric Prod functions for 1 minute, 10 rounds, fairly straight forward.

Now, Overcharge, reads as follows;

As a standard action, you can use your custom rig to overcharge and attack with a ranged energy weapon or a melee weapon with the powered special property (see page 181) that you’re holding. If you hit, you deal 1d6 additional damage of the same type the weapon normally deals. This attack uses three times as many charges from the battery or power cell as normal and can’t be used if the weapon doesn’t have enough charges.

So keeping those two effects in mind, if I spend 3 charges, the Electric Prod now benefits from Overcharge for the entire minute? That's how I read it, I just want to make sure we're on the same page before we hit round 2.

Thanks and sorry for the long post!

Galatea settled into her science station at the Captain's request, ready to enact the plan. She was, however, concerned as her crew dropped to the deck, unconscious, while the mercenaries began to open fire on the survivors.

She quickly, though not quickly enough, surveyed the situation, laser fire searing through the recycled atmosphere of the bridge. She moved forward, slipping past the Captain's chair, while she did she drew her electric prod, ensuring it was set to a non lethal charge.

"They are not in their right mind, subdue and restrain!" She drew her prod back, her exocortex allowed her to bypass it's regular safety settings, and overload the capacitors. It wouldn't kill the mercenary, but perhaps the electric surge would override any mental conditioning he had suffered during the missing 24 hours.

OOC: Move from current position diagonally in front of Rawlins, than another 5' forward placing me adjacent to the Elf (Blue), and in melee range of the Kasatha (Red) & Ysoki (Purple), I will draw my Electric Prod as part of the move action. As a Standard Action I will Overcharge the Prod, consuming 3 charges, it will now deal an additional +d6 for the next minute. Attack vs Blue, KAC: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28, for Electric (Stun): 1d4 + 1d6 + 9 ⇒ (4) + (2) + 9 = 15 damage. Oh! A crit, so double damage, 30 electric (nonlethal) & stunned for one round due to the Prod's Stun crit effect.

Sorry for the late reply, working midnights is hitting my creativity and ability to come up with cool ideas! I posted one last attempt, but it looks like it won't be high enough, so I am ready to head back to the bridge and hope we can out distance them from there.

The theories that the survivors were coming up with were, intriguing, though of little, actual use to their current situation. The Drift Shadow projector, to Galatea's knowledge, strengthened the dimensional boundaries that separated normal space from drift space. In essence, it caused all but the most powerful of drift drives from being able to skip across the dimensional threshold that permitted drift travel.

Rawlin's idea, while suitable, would require that they directly engage the unknown vessel, which had demonstrated the ability to EMP the 'criers crew into a state of temporal fugue. She paused as the man spoke, tilted her head, considering the generalities of the plan, not it's specifics. "Interesting," she spoke to herself, "if we vent drive plasma it would create the same effect as John's explosion, the irradiated plasma would interact with their shields, perhaps providing us with anomalous readings which would be visible to our sensors." A sigh as she began to run her calculations, "Though due to the nature of their projector, outdistancing them before they can hit us with an EMP would be advisable. Knowing the location of the vessel due to a plasma dump would allow our pilot to perform evasive maneuvers, increasing our probability of escape."

OOC: Going to attempt a Physical Science check to dump irradiated plasma, or a similar waste product from our engines. Then try to determine if it interacts with the cloaked vessel in such a way as to allow us to ping any anomalous readings. Like a spectrum shift in the energy signature of the plasma. If needed, I will do the calculations, and actually perform the task once on the bridge, to give our pilot the best chance at evasion. Including the +2 from the Biohack my Physical Sciences is +14, so here goes! Physical Sciences: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23. Successful or not, outdistancing is our best option and I will return to the bridge.

Galatea looked to T'sorkel, a slight buzz in her head preceding the telepathic communication. It was an interesting sensation, one produced, perhaps, because of the harmonic frequencies integrated into her exocortex's positronic neural processors. Intrigued by this form of communication, she attempted to push her thoughts into the telepathic relay.

While the intersect of magic and technology is beyond my scope of expertise, space is ... big. We would need to scan an area, perhaps, hundreds of cubic kilometers, and that is if they are in close proximity to the Voidcrier. Rawlins' suggestion of a Faraday cage has merit, however, the powersurge would alert our observers, alerting them to the fact we are aware of their presence.

As she 'spoke' she began a search of the engineering area, drift engines, sublight drives, and power core. If she was able to locate a tracking beacon, it is likely she could discover the channel it broadcast on, giving them another piece of information about their pursuers.

OOC: Engineering check to determine if there are any anomalous readings coming from the power core, drift drives, or engines, Engineering: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22.

My wife's family isn't big on turkey, so we went with pineapple and ham, some barbequed chicken breasts, scallop potatoes, mashed potatoes, cream corn, and sourdough bread. It was delicious, and good to see family again ... I work with my sister in law, but having been training staff on the midnight shift, haven't seen her in three weeks, so that was nice.

Also, having recently recovered four boxes of comics from an old room mate, I was able to provide my nephews with some reading material which they seemed to enjoy!

All in all, a good weekend!

As Rawlins spoke, it clicked, they had been onboard the ship, however briefly, to perform the invasion medical examinations that were evident on almost every member of the crew. They could, theoretically, still be on the ship, cloaked, or under the effects of a holoskin or similar technological device. That, in itself, was frightening.

A ping of the survivors comms, "We need to assume observation. Drift Shadow Range limited, evasive maneuvers would take us beyond range. Once Drift is engaged projector cannot disengage, cannot follow. Pursuers will remain unknown variable."

Galatea nodded, responding to Rawlins spoken comments, "I concur, a search of engineering to determine the integrity of life support, and remove any potential beacon alerting our unknown assailants to our position would be advisable." She paused, turning to her commanding officer, "Captain?"

With the successful Aid, could I make a 2nd check, focusing on the anomalous readings I got with my initial check?

Galatea's brow furrowed as she contemplated the relevant information, an EMP pulse originated from the Crier's rear arc, while an unexplained malfunction had rendered their drift engine's inoperable. If their unknown assailants were in possession of both stealth technology, to shield them from any relevant scans, an EMP projector to disable their prey's shields and board the vessel, as well as a Shadow Projector it would certainly be a significant threat to the safety of the Voidcrier and her crew.

She had her Exocortex wirelessly hack into the Shirren's comm, sending a brief text. "Message is unencrypted. Contact G-5 telepathically. Mel's Diner. Stew. Cold & Greasy." As she waited for the discordant thought pattern that preceded most telepathic communication, she, discreetly, focused the ship's scanner on their rear arc looking for the possible source of both the EMP pulse the previous day and any energy fluctuations that would indicate the presence of a Drift Shadow projection field.

OOC: Not sure what I should roll, maybe Computers, maybe Engineering, however, they are both the same value, +14, so I will roll them bones and we'll see if anything comes up! Computer/Engineering Scan: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21.

Awesome, I'll assume she knows then, though I'll likely not mention it until we're in engineering. I've got some info I want the group to know about but don't want to share in front of Pike.

Can a non telepath get a Sirren's attention, so I can sare info via hive mind? That might be a way to do it that wouldn't require us leaving the bridge, also, is Telepathy noticeable, eyes blank, slack jaw, etc?

@GMQ, quick question, I realized I did it for the computer check without discussing it with you. Are you alright with us taking 10 on Reall Knowledge checks? Like with the current DC 17 Engineering check, taking 10 Galatea can hit a 24.

I am fine rolling, but I want to make sure before I post and make an assumption if you're not OK with taking 10.

Ok, so currently my thinking is like this, but she doesn't want to share her theory in front of Pike. The Voidcrier was subjected to an EMP and people in isolated sections of the ship, ie. lounge, medbay & bridge, experienced time loss, with evidence of invasive medical examinations. The only way to EMP a ship is to do it on close proximity, the fact the Drift engines are 'acting up' is suspiciously coincidental. At this point I'm leaning towards sabotage, and want to examine engineering.

If possible I'd like to scan for a cloaked (is that a thing in Starfinder?) vessel in our rear arc too.

Once armed in the power harness, Galatea checked her equipment and battery levels. Securing her gear rapidly, she exited her quarter's giving the required phrase, as expected by the Omicrom survivors.

Once on the bridge, she surveyed the scene quickly, wary of any shift in attitude from any present. It seemed, she thought grimly, that she was not immune to the paranoid atmosphere that had settled upon the ship and her crew since the operation at Omicrom.

As she received direction from her commanding officer, she nodded. "A similar thought occured to me after observing that medial diagnostics lot Breez's vitals during our subjective time loss, as though she had been removed from the medbay, entirely."

She bent to the work station, and began correlating the data available to them.

OOC: Taking a 10 on the initial check provides me with a 24, surpassing the DC 19 threshold. However upon learning that an EMP was used on the vessel, she'll concentrate on the next task.

Computer Check, DC 23: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33

"Data becomes scrambled at 11:32 due to electromagnetic interference, it may become possible to isolate the source by checking the radiation buffers in engineering."

Before hitting the bridge, can we assume that Galatea equipped her armor & gear?

Galatea's face was blank as she considered the options, something, had occurred during the time loss, but what exactly, was still unknown. The Omicrom survivors were speaking of code phrases to ensure the identity of one another should they become seperated, had they experienced impostors? Duplicates? Double agents on the outpost? Galatea suddenly felt very out of her depth, she was a Close Combat Support agent, she wasn't equipped for dealing with counter espionage.

That sense of dread threatened to overwhelm her when, after a cursory self examination, she discovered what could be incisions on the rear of her scalp, had someone, something, accessed her exocortex? Had it's directives been altered, modified? She shook, her head, no, she couldn't let herself go down that route.

As the crew began to discuss their recognition codes, she nodded, "Where did we eat the one time? Mel's diner. Stew was cold and greasy. Check." She considered the groups options, she wasn't convinced that Breez should join them, she already had her suspicions about Pike, and if he, too, had been subject to time loss, invasive surgeries, and even psychological programming he was a security risk, especially if he could command his mercenaries to assist him in some plot against the Stewards.

As Rawlins expressed an interest in engineering, it caused Galatea to shift her attention to the man, "While I would like to check engineering, it is not a priority, the bridge contains the logs from several internal systems that would allow us to determine what occurred during the last 24 hours, which is, by far, my primary concern. Engineering is a concern, though a secondary one." A pause, "However, I would like to stop by quarters, to ensure I have my power harness, environmental seals, and zero g protections in the event it comes to that."

Shez wrote:
"Hey! You coming to the bridge? We could use your help! Maybe you or one of our new friends can take a look at the ship's chronometer. Could be clues there."

Startled by the sudden intrusion on her thoughts, the android reflexively hit reply, "Roger that, just grabbing my encryption key and data logs, be up in 5."

Is the discussion re: recognition passwords and codes being discussed openly in earshot of Galatea? Just curious ...

Galatea nodded as she listened to Breez's enthusiastic pleas to join her compatriots on the bridge, however she wasn't convinced that it was in her best interest. Especially considering Truthpelt's assertions that double agents were involved. However, if Breez accompanied them it would allow them the opportunity to observe her actions and ascertain where her loyalties lie.

The results of the med-scan were interesting, the incision though, gave her chills. She immediately flagged it, and made mental note to do a full body assessment of herself when she returned to quarters to arm herself prior to joining Pike on the bridge. Once again, she contacted the survivors via their comms.

'Subject Breez has had an invasive procedure performed during the time lapse, incision was not present during initial examination performed by Dr. FlintBridge. Medical diagnostics confirm subject was absent from the med bay between XX:XX and ZZ:ZZ, during our subjective time loss.'

OOC: Honestly, not sure how to proceed, I feel as though we've made inroads on gaining Breez's trust, but if Pike goes all Manchurian Candidate on us, I am concerned that Breez will obey his orders and become another hostile, whether she has been programmed or not. I do know that I want my armor and gear before heading to the bridge, and that's more than paranoia now.

Once in the med-bay Galatea had an idea, "Dr. Flint-Bridge, while I run a cursory test to determine any physiological symptoms of our collective time loss, could you review the logs from the medbay." Galatea bent to her task, performing a series of non-invasive tests on the group to gather rudimentary data. "The diagnostic monitors were hooked up to Sgt. Breez's vitals, and should have monitored them throughout, unless she was taken from the med-bay during the missing time."

Turning her attention to Breez, she performed a rapid body check, looking for any damage or injury. "I am sorry for the lack of care, Sgt. Breez. However, we want to ensure your health prior to continuing our investigations, our intention is to arm ourselves and head to the bridge to ensure the safety of my Captain. Pike has ordered the Peryton's to remain in their quarters, but given the situation, our specialist," she looked to the broad shouldered Nuar, "has requested we do not isolate ourselves, and remain in a group. Will you join us?"

OOC: Doing a cursory medical examination on Breez, then each anyone else present to determine if we can see if we were drugged during the missing time. Medicine Check: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22. Hopefully that's enough to get us some info!

And of course Galatea would assist Rar'gul with their Synaptic Accelerator I just couldn't find a way to work it into my post.

GMQ, are we fine to advance the scene to the Medbay, as we do a quick scan? I'd like compare results to the tests and baselines established earlier today (yesterday?), and to check on Breez. Then hit my quarters to suit up ...

Though if you want to advance the scene to the bridge in fine with that too.

Galatea nodded as Pike spoke, "Affirmative, we will meet you on the bridge." Galatea did not trust Pike, not entirely. The Naur's comments about double agents brought back memories of a verbal exchange, in an unknown language, she had observed on Tyrkalis between Stewards who had never conversed in anything but Pact Common previously. She wanted to ensure that she stayed close to the survivors of Omicron, it would increase her own chance at survival.

"I'll take our guests to Medbay, determine if there us a physiological explanation for the time loss we've all apparently shared. We'll link up with Breez and meet you on the bridge." After hitting my quarters and gearing for a combat exercise, she thought to herself. If Pike were trying to commandeer the ship, he'd want to establish over the bridge and key systems, such as engineering and communications.

As she spoke, she had her exocortex remotely contact the survivor's comms, flashing a warning across their HUD's 'Do not trust Pike. Med Bay. Quarters. Bridge. Stay together.'

Galatea noted slight anomalous readings while checking her internal chronometer, quizzically she looked to the Doctor and her companions who had joined them for the Brutaris match. "I may be able to narrow down the anomaly by checking internal computer logs, and scanners on the bridge." She looked to her halfling companion, hoping she would back her up.

She then turned her attention towards Pike, himself, "Perhaps a Drift field inversion, which would cause a stutter, affecting our perception of time-space. Further investigation is required, however, I would suggest retiring to your quarters until a proper medical examination can be conducted to ensure that no Drift bleed has affected your cells on a molecular level." An utter load of fei-oo but it may give the large mercenary cause to isolate to his quarters for fear of trans-dimensional radiation, and if she could keep the Peryton's out of her way while she investigated the situation it would be in her best interest.

Out of Character Actions:

Galatea, having experienced time loss before, immediately accessed her internal time logs, while correlating the time with the Voidcriers logs. "It seems highly unlikely, unless the food and drink were, in fact, laced with some sort of sedative." She pondered the situation, "Engineer Galatea-5 to Bridge, please respond Captain Yalamis."

The android noted her companions exhaustion, "Should you wish Doctor, I can send my prognosis to your comm unit for your review, if you wish to retire until later this evening. Your companions and yourself have suffered prolonged exposure to significant psychological and physiological stressors."

She was, however, walking towards the medical bay as she spoke to Flint-Bridge. "I fear symptoms may present themselves without sufficient rest and, perhaps, counselling." She paused as she spoke, regarding the diminutive doctor, "Being unaware of your companion's behaviors, I will have, difficulties, identifying symptoms of deeper trauma, as such I would appreciate your assessment in that regard."

Galatea probably doesn't need a long rest as she wasn't involved in the escape from the the Gray Outpost. However, I am fine advancing the scene to the Brutaris viewing ...

However, during the long rest I would like to do two things a) with 5 ranks in Life Science I would love to craft (which will take 4 hours) some Superior Intoxicants (Alcohol) for the viewing, I figure showing up with a couple bottles of moonshine might ingratiate us with the mercenaries and loosen lips. And, if time permits, she'd like to look at the Drift Drives to determine what the nature of the malfunction that is preventing us from going into Drift space.

If you need rolls for one or either, or want to roleplay some of her planned downtime activities, I am glad to do that as well.
