GM Core Campaign's page

You can read this blog entry, and this -- F.A.Q. --, but it basically is normal PFS with the restriction that players can only use five sources:
• the Core Rulebook (that all should own)
• the Character Traits Web Enhancement, downloadable here (below Free Pathfinder Roleplaying Game PDFs, on the left)
• the current Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide
• the Faction Journal Cards
• and the boons and items listed on your Chronicle sheets (you'll never read them the same!)

PFS CORE CAMPAIGN is mainly about simpler characters, which raises the challenge level, while making it a good entry for new players (and allowing veterans to replay completed scenarios).

Remember to select PFC when you create your character on Paizo ; and to not play your CORE character in Standard games, or vice versa.

CORE gaming is... fun!

My name's Eric, and I live in Paris, France, so I am on Western European time (stuck between those Down Under and the folks Stateside).
Been playing PFS for some years, but less than a decade, so I have a lot to learn, and will be happy to do so with you.
I follow the rules, just that I get them wrong now and then, probably like you, so let's agree to point out what we believe is the law, in a non-adversarial manner, figure out what the book actually says, then move on and have more fun.
I don't see it as me vs. the players. I just read the scenario, toss the dice, and try to make it the best story I can for your characters.
I post in my morning and evenings, and warn if I'll be afk.
If something's bothering you, please say so.

To have... FUN!
In order to do so, remember to:
• follow Paizo's stringent Don't be a jerk!™ rule
• post at least once a day, and please warn if not able to (I will try to delay botting but one of my neuroses is seeing games slow, making active players bored...)
• do your best to RP, play your character, and help the group move the story along (by do your best I mean that if you're a beginner, unsure, shy... just try something, you'll see it probably goes better than you thought, and that your friends around this PbP table are benevolent)
• only commit characters you will not soon need to play in some other scenario (brisk paced games are nice, but so is time for pure RP when it is pleasant to the group)
• remember to... have fun!

I prefer running campaign arcs (2 or 3 linked scenarios) with the same players - if they manage to put up with me, that is!
