Fluffy eyes the prisoners as all guard dogs do. As long as they stay reasonably still and take no aggressive actions he keeps his teeth to himself.

Fluffy barks in agreement and is ready for guard duty.

Fluffy barks his approval for the plan although in all fairness he has no idea what his mistress is saying.

"Woof, woof."

Fluffy gets to his feet and is ready to defend his mistress.

Readied attack if anyone unfriendly gets too close: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Free Trip attack on hit vs CMD: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Crit confirm for the attack that likely will not happen.

Readied attack if anyone unfriendly gets too close: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

Bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Riding Dogs have the Defend trick so they will defend their owners by default. No Handle Animal check is required.

Fluffy likes the sight and smells of new agents and barks in greetings to the newly assembled party.

"Woof!"

Fluffy looks up at her mistress clearly pleased with all the new smells and sounds on the docks.

Fluffy barks goodbye to the adventurers as he guards the entrance to the crevice.

"Woof!"

Fluffy does not understand what they are talking about but recognizes his name and can tell that Grilgoth is defending her in some way. She barks in agreement.

"Woof! Woof!"

Fluffy does not understand Taldane or even have an empathic link with his master. He does understand when he is not wanted. The canine turns his nose up at the weird uppity man.

Fluffy looks around the room. Bright eyed and friendly he seems to be a loyal party companion.

Shaggy's ears perk up at the sound of some proper communications. He feels the need to contribute and he barks at his fellow canine.

Shaggy barks at the familiar faces. He looks around the room and wags his tail contently.

Shaggy looks up at Sylvester and then over to Corey and then back to Sylvester. Shaggy looks up expectantly at his master. Clearly the canine wants to be included in what ever they are doing.

Sylvester draws his own wand and puts up Mage Armor on Shaggy. The sorcerer then places his almost completely depleted wand back in its holster.

Shaggy returns with the others. His fear suddenly gone. His head is hung down in shame as he reunites with his master.

Shaggy retreats out of the temple as fast (or faster) than he entered it bringing Sylvester for a ride.

Shaggy senses his master's mood and is alert and mindful of his surroundings. He is practically silent and motionless waiting on Sylvester's commands.

Sylvester's mount wags his tail. He clearly has no idea about what is being discussed but he barks anyways in support of his master's words.
