Hey Everyone,

I'm finally in a place where I can run some more online games. Online campaigns tend to be long so the pbp isn't always optimal for it. So I'll combine the PFS format with a campaign. Some nice chaps thought out PFS campaigns with the available material. I'll be GM'ing the season 0-2 path to start. The idea is to stay with the same group as much as possible, but with scenario's already visited, RL commitments etc that isn't always possible. When you start in this campaign, your names comes on a list and when a new scenario is started, those from the list are pm'd. Those with most games within this group get the spots for the next. (My online GM's already have a spot on that list, as is the group of people that helped me test my GM skills with running the confirmation with me).

edit: This is for PFS games. You need to have PFS legal characters to participate and will be rewarded chronicles as normal (if you survive..).

Concrete I expect to GM the following games (subject to slight changes):

Spoiler:

1st Level:
5 Mists of Mwangi
1 Silent Tide
35 Voice in the Void
2nd Level:
14 Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch
2-11 The Penumbral Accords
45 Delirium's Tangle
3rd Level
51 City of Strangers, Part 1 - The Shadow Gambit
52 City of Strangers, Part 2 - The Twofold Demise
SP2 Year of the Shadow Lodge
17 Perils of the Pirate Pact (ALTERNATE)
4th Level:
2-01 Before the Dawn, Part 1 - The Bloodcove Disguise
2-02 Before the Dawn, Part 2 - Rescue at Azlant Ridge
2-13 Murder on the Throaty Mermaid
5th Level:
2-15 Shades of Ice, Part 1 - Written in Blood
2-17 Shades of Ice, Part 2 - Exiles of Winter
2-19 Shades of Ice, Part 3 - Keep of the Huskarl King
6th Level:
2-03 The Rebel's Ransom
2-25 You Only Die Twice
2-21 The Dalsine Affair
7th Level:
22 Fingerprints of the Fiend
2-23 Shadow's Last Stand, Part 1 - At Shadow's Door
2-24 Shadow's Last Stand, Part 2 - Web of Corruption
8th Level:
2-04 Shadows Fall on Absalom
2-08 The Sarkorian Prophecy
2-10 Fury of the Fiend

2-09 The Heresy of Man, Part 3 - Beneath Forgotten Sands
10th Level:
2-14 The Chasm of Screams
2-12 Below the Silver Tarn
2-16 The Flesh Collector
11th Level:
2-18 The Forbidden Furnace of Forgotten Koor
2-20 Wrath of the Accursed
2-26 The Mantis's Prey

Commitment expectations:
- Have fun
- If you already played a scenario, let me know in advance. I will allow at most one player to already have played the scenario.
- Post frequently, try to post every 24 hours during the week. Communicate if there is a problem. This day and age at least some warning should be able to reach us if a longer period of no access to the forums is expected. From experience I noticed I can post less during the weekends, I will try to post anyway, but it turns out I'm away a lot of the weekends.
- A short break (2-3 days) is expected between scenarios since I'll have to read & prepare the next. I played a lot of these already, but not all, so some require more preparation than others.
- I should be able to check your Character profile. Because the stat-block is the part most often checked out, it should be kept always visible in the profile without spoilers. Because of the same reason, keep Background, Personality and Inventory within spoilers.
- There is no commitment required to be in any number of games.

Recruitment is open until 14/04/2016.

cheers,
Fjuri

Greetings everyone,

I plan on running some games here on this forum, but first we need to get a confirmation if I can do this. I've finished 1 game as a player (PFS), I'm currently playing in another (non-PFS). I have GM'd offline, but now it is my time to see if this format is good for me as well online.

For this I have chosen the 05-08:Confirmation. The recruitment is open, with some reserved seats for former GM's (not sure they'll want to play the confirmation again). The recruitment will close January 1st (I will roll for seats between applicants) and the game will start January 3rd.

I expect players to post at least daily and you can expect the same from me.

Hi all,

For most character classes, its rather easy to tailor an encounter specifically for that class. Each has its strengths so when you give an enemy with high CR, but weaknesses against these, you can make them feel more epic.

In our group we have a bard, but I don't really get the class. The player itself isn't so fond of combat and has tailored his character so he has huge roleplay uses, but not so much combat uses. I would like to engage him and put him in the spotlight in a combat. In the past, we have had roleplay opportunities for him to be in the spotlight, but, we're ending with an invasion of an enemy base, and there aren't that much roleplay opportunities..
Our party consists of:
A sorceror
A magus
A cleric
A bard

The other characters I have no trouble finding a right stage to put them in the spotlight, for him though not so much. :(

Thanks,

Fjuri

Hi all,

Due to people moving and our group having to split up, our Carrion Crown campaign will not reach the ultimate climax.
We are almost finishing book 3: Broken Moon and I have already cut out some references to Adrissant, so they will expect a Boss here.
They are currently reached the border of Feldgrau.

My question now is, how do I make it EPIC (with all capital letters)?

Our party is all lvl 8:
Cleric
Bard
Sorceror
Magus

Idea's coming to mind:
A Multiplying T-Rex can be 'borrowed' by our sorceror.
Hordes of undead minions can be 'channeled away' by the cleric.
Magus is best at killing a single person, so he'll probably kill the boss.
How do I make the bard perform EPIC? The player itself is not very fond of combat (and actually the D20 system in general).

Do you guys have any further idea's?

Another question is, do I simply place all the lost items in the lost item box in the tower? (Heart, Seasage effigy, Captured Spirits) Would that be satisfying for my players?

Hey all,

I'm interested in multiclassing my kitsune rogue with a level of bloodrager (draconic bloodline), but I'm uncertain of the benefit. This would give me the following natural attacks I think: Bite, Claws x2. Is this correct? So if I would make a full round attack, what would be the attack bonus and damage?
assumption: ST 14 (+2), 2 levels rogue (bab+1), 1 level bloodrager (bab+1).
Attack 1: claw +4 (1d6+2) (+1d6 sneak attack)
Attack 2: claw +4 (1d6+2) (+1d6 sneak attack)
Attack 3: bite -1 (1d4+1) (+1d6 sneak attack)

I would do so in order to avoid the twf feat chain (weapon finesse, twf, weapon focus). I would trade in 1 critical threat range (for short swords) and slower access to rogue tricks for +1 to hit and 3 more feats (and the ability to rage). Am I correct in this?

My apologies if this was answered before.

Thanks,

Fjuri
