Do you have anything else we can go on? Is there anyone who would wish either of you harm? Fergor asks, after nodding to Argenon about sidelining his conflict with this new player in the fold, but making a note not to take his eyes off of him, which is noted with a side glance and sneer.

Fergor raises a fist at Tony and declares, How dare you accuse me of thievery! I made no point to hide who I was, just stayed out of his way! For someone to know they had been followed, they must have done some following themselves. Lord Dallimothan figured he might be targeted and sent me to protect him. with that he quickly turns to Argenon and explains, Here, a message from your father should you ever question who I am. He pulls a slip of parchment from a belt pouch that has been folded as small as possible. Now let’s help the Lad get his daughter back, Sir. And deal with this vagabond. He sneers while reaching for the hilt of his sword.

Fergor watches intently, not to leave his charge. When Argenon gets up to render his service, Fergor will also stand and claim, Aye, you have my steel to watch your back, let’s find this young lamb and bring her home safely!

Fergor watches as Argenon sits down and finds a table closest to the door. He sits with his back to the wall opposite side of the table to the door, but still able to keep an eye on his charge. He orders a small meal and ale, and always keeping an eye on things

Apon arriving at the Ghostly Minstrel, Fergor thought to himself, finally, a place to get out of the blasted sun! He follows closely behind, not casting of the nobleman sees him coming in this time as, well, where would you expect the find an “off-duty” soldier…

Fergor looks on as Argenon purchases a paper. I’m a soldier… not a babysitter. He looks for a stoop or bench to sit down and while he waits for Argenon to do something. Anything at this point then all this milling about.

Oh this could be fun, will I perceive stony as a potential threat? Will he if he sees me following Argenon from a distance? Will Argenon ever realize he is being followed? So many twists with this…

As Fergor watches his charge emerge from the temple he stands upright and begins his tailing again. I wonder where we are off to this time… He thinks to himself, then searches for potential threats.

Fergor is silently waiting outside the church, waiting for you to come out, or someone else to go in. Either way, not much for him to do at the moment since he was told you’re not supposed to know about me. When we walk, I start within 60 ft, making sure I can charge in to handle any bad guys that I need to.

now where, I’ve barely had time to rest! Fergor thinks to himself as he watches his charge leave Danbury’s. As he watches Argenon enter the small chapel, he can’t help but look about it. It’s old for sure, and in rough condition. Is this place even still open? He wonders, still not going inside, but staying across the street, watching the door for anyone else who may enter.

Babysitting sitting duty! Fergor yelled at his commander. why the hell am I being put on babysitting duty?

His commander chuckled at the soldier’s outburst and pointed at Fergor, That, for one. he sits higher in his chair and places his fingers tip to tip, and looks at Fergor with earnest. Look, there have been rumors spreading, every nobleman from Ptolus has a target. The job is simple, watch him, listen, and whatever you do, don’t engage him unless necessary! You’re my best man for this job, I expect nothing but the best.

There was no use arguing. Orders were orders, and they had to be followed. Fergor arrived on the lane just before daybreak. There was a cold nip in the air, which meant he could keep his cloak bundled to hide his appearance even better. As his charge left, he followed several paces behind, watching in earnest for any sign of trouble.

Of course, even though the cloak was heavy, his chain mail was heavier, his shield bulky, and his sword, very large. Too preoccupied in him mind how he hated being a puppet. He has watched his own Lord murdered, the past replaying in his mind as he followed along, right up to Danbury’s. As Argenon walks inside, Fergor stands across the street, wondering if day drinking could warm him any coin better than this.

I have worked in the city for some time, operating as a mercenary, but sometimes being asked to help the cities guard for protection details and such. Not sure how that plays into the rest of your backstories though.

As for handsome, I lean in close to its face, and mutter, “test unsat” then smile and pull out a small package containing salted meat as a peace offering.

Too late, already on the list. Part of Day 0 is discussing things with the group, and think of how easy it will be for me to do a full attack with my sword and shield with that feat.

Though I have a list of Feats I’ll be taking, I’m sure I can fit the teamwork feat in at level 3 without losing much in the way of my build. I’m your standard sword and board who focuses on 2WF. I’ve always wanted to test this build, but a slight modification is ok to me.

I've been reading over the Elephant in the Room guidelines and I have to say, theres a lot of things I don't like about it. The reason a lot of things are built the way they are is based on the fact that these are level 1 characters, meaning they have little to no experience in whatever actions they are doing. By creating feats that are prereqs to greater feats, you're showing your progression through training in these fields. Take Precise Shot. Having Point Blank Shot as a pre-req shows how you've trained in carefully aiming your shot to hit a specific target. From a role-playing standpoint, this is you spending countless hours shooting an arrow or bolt into a dummy and focusing your aim. Precise Shot allows you to ignore the penalty for shooting into melee combat. While a PC can come up with elaborate systems of pullies and ropes to mimic such things, its extremely limited in how targets actually react in combat situations. So what ends up happening is you don't get good at it until you've been out adventuring for a while, using that point-black shot to pin-point your target, and eventually becoming better at avoiding your friends, who are constantly jumping in the way of your arrows.

Also, I'd like to introduce Fergor. Undead Hunter and Sell-Sword. He wields a bastard sword like a butter knife, and slams his foes with a devastating sword/shield combat strike to daze and confuse his opponents. Though what Fergor forgot, is some silversheen for those truely nasty deadites!

Fergor looks at the books and flips through the ones about war and weapons, he seems particularly interested in pages with pictures. When the party returns, they find him standing outside the keep, staring off into space.

Fergor's grip tightens in his blade and shield, then steps to the front of the group. What sortof Necromancy do you ppractice? I have heard tales of some raising the dead, and of others using the art to help control and even destroy those who are not laid to rest.
