Male Human Pitfighter

Felver eyes the hammer and says I have been trained in how to use that weapon.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Back home safely

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

I am out for at least the next week due to Covid please bot me

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver frowns at the secrecy of the priest and brings the cart up to the door hefting it through the doors if he can to keep from getting too much mess on him and saying what is this all about?

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver now covers up the body and gets a cart after everyone is gone and gets the body over to the graveyard to ensure the man gets buried.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver sits quietly waiting for the authorities to arrive and says nothing else as there is nothing to say.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver grips the axe handle firmly and looks down at the man before him and considers beheading him as well and says to the mason something isn't right, like the fight with the other headless thing. Should I chop this ones head off you think?

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver looks and ensures the man is dead and says a prayer to Morr for him placing two coins he knows the woman cannot afford over his eyes since he is dead. He turns to Konrad and says I will stay here. Go outside with the widow and bring the captain of the guard so you and the widow outside can witness this duel and I can be cleared of wrong doing

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

attack: 1d100 ⇒ 59

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

yeah nasty, gonna have to use the fate point would have used it to take his head clean off at the beginning

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver brings his axe handle down to knock the blow aside

ws: 1d100 ⇒ 7

attack ws: 1d100 ⇒ 47

I have 5 in two handed for 51

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

I accept your challenge

Felver says and draws his two handed axe and attempts to plant it into the man like a hammer to the anvil being done with this fool and his words.

attack: 1d100 ⇒ 40

damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Do I understand you correctly that you in front of these esteemed witnesses have challenged me to combat? Felver says with a wicked and grim grin.

intuition: 1d100 ⇒ 1

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver considers this and says the priest of Mor said I would die in a fighting pit defending justice. This is a barn so I am not much afraid of my fate being here.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver nods and follows the woman into the barn and says to Konrad please be my guest, while I witness

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver looks at the man sleeping and says the enemy of this sort never rests nor sleeps. It is his weakness which is his enemy and he takes that weakness out upon you. There is no guarantee that should we tie him up and march him out of town he would not return. Many laws now support this man. However, if you pay me a coin I will remove this outfit and become something more then a guard. I will become justice. And in that name I will kill him after I slap him awake until I am satisfied and hand him a blade. Alternately you may also hand Konrad a coin and he may also do this for you. Either of us I think will do it for a low price.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver would like to take the drunk wife beater and tie him up for the beating that his wife is about to bestow about him Loraine Bobbit style...

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Going up to the cabin Thr Fri Sat Sun Mon see you next Tues, posting goin to be very light

Grand Lodge

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Male Human Pitfighter

It's every summer about this time that the boards get funky. People get into summer and vacations slow things down as well as just alot of busy stuff in summer with kids home from school etc. It's not unusual really. Just stay the course and look to concentrate on the group and characters and rp and we can make it.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver nods and turns around and says Konrad and I are going to check the barn again and ask you all stay back a safe distance

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver looks at the woman and says to her tell your friends and family vigilance is right but foolishness can kill just as easily as any other fault

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Banking XP for now

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Autocorrect hates me

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

intimidate: 1d100 ⇒ 73

ok spending the date point for the auto success it is

clear the road and go home now!

Felver says as he uses his command voice on he crowd as if he was yelling in the pit itself

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

I only have intimidate as I am a pit fighter so that's why my character asked for help as he felt barking orders might go bad as a city guard

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

someone who speaks well ask them all to go about their business Felver says

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver leans forward and whispers to Brunhilde I was told our headless enemy is inside

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

we can't talk near the crowd but let's go check the barn to be sure of something

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver moves toward the barn and motions to his associates to follow as he goes.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

or we could burn the body like we should have done the first time and keep burning any body we come by

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

for gods' sake another murder in this town. We need to search this place from top to bottom and stick together so we don't get jumped as well Felver says

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

I didn't think to ask those things and then Felver gathers them close and very quietly says but the captain says there are unsolved murders in the town and is suspicious of the Reeve

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver hands Brunhilde the too small overall uniform of a guard and says we have all been appointed city guards and given uniforms along with a place to stay and food to eat. He tries not to look guilty for the ill fitting clothing.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver moves through town with the one size won't fit anyone overalls takin the two best fitting ones for himself and Gottfried who had the idea first and then looks at the smallest one and smirks thinking what Brunhilde would look like in it.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

we know he bleeds so now we need to burn it when it goes down. The alternative is that there is a group of mutants all posing as that creature to terrorize the area for some purpose. Additionally we know that there is some strife in town and disappearances as well as murders. This town is in danger and now that you and I are guards let's draw uniforms and stick together and see what we see. Felver says with a few pauses in between and looks to Gottfried for confirmation.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

ah damn it that thing was dead, I made sure of it, but at least we are guards for a few days and can eat and have a place to sleep. Felver says

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Yep that is why I am asking the card to help us get a skilled job lol

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Again you touch the needle to the thumb with the lightest touch. We need a paying job here to stay a few days. I am not willing to beg churches and lay on stone floors not eat turnip soup. So I you will help us earn our way then we will do some "looking" into things Felver says.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver nods as Gottfried speaks and says the young man got out of a flipped coach in an ambush and followed orders in a fight so don be too hard. Felver says as he takes the offered drink.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver nods and will take the weapons in hand with a smile and thanks and stand inside the door clearly not fitting in.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver will nod and then go to find the Reeve before she departs to survey the scene and offer his hire to accompany her group.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Konrad, after breakfast if you don't mind I will come with you Felver says

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver gets up from the ground and makes his way downstairs and says how about some warmed water to rub myself down with this morning? and then Felver says the Reeve and some of the people here seemed particularly interested in my fighting capacity last night as well as Konrad's. I think they may have something in mind

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Felver pulls himself into the room and flops down propped against the door after wedging a chair into the door as well as locking the door.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

I am back

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

Please bot me for the next week due to a death in the family.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

pit fighters, duelists, and reeves all have good and bad folk doing their profession. Some pit fighters will take jobs in the streets and be nothing more then enforcers and thugs. Same for duelists, same for reeves. You don't have to look for those with no code or little beliefs. You have to look for those who do Felver says.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

pitfighter are ceremonial gladiatorial fighters for justice who fight to settle a matter between folk when other forms of settling doesn't work. When I am not training and fighting, then yes I am for hire depending on the cause and the pay.

Grand Lodge

Male Human Pitfighter

the carriage rolled as the horse died and we were tossed like wash in the barrel. I came rolling out as the creature charged and attacked the man you are seeking Reeve. The coachman was mangled and tossed off the coach seat to lie broken on the ground at the attack on the horses. I drew my hammer and attacked the horse of our attacker and Konrad joined me against the beast. We downed it and the headless creature approached us. I felt at ease with my hammer in hand and decided I would face my enemy rather then die a coward running. My blows were parried and turned aside by skill and armor but Konrad slammed his blade home and as our enemy fell to the ground I pounded him with my hammer right at the top of his form to ensure he was down.
