While I am sure Flynn would do a fine job of running this game, I still think we lose something unique about this game that GM Fiendish made unique. So my vote is to place this game on hiatus until if/when she returns.
As an aside...this reminds me when the artist who drew the Wormy comic strip dropped off the face of the earth without notice. It turns out he could not handle it anymore and became a cab driver (True story!). Sadly he passed away a couple of years ago. I hope Fiendish did not take this path. *crosses fingers*

I completely forgot about the ring Flynn. Feldus should be able to use it even though he is not proficient with shields since it does not have an armor check penalty or arcane spell failure chance since it is weightless and encumbrance-free.

Feldus sniffs the corpse, nodding in satisfaction it was not one he had met before.

He looks over the magical items with interest, "Now why would he have needed this pouch? Was he capable of shifting his shape, or did he claim it as booty from another?" Looking over the curved blade he reaches for it, hefting it experimentally. "That kukri should be held by one who has lived with the stink of necromancy for a while. I can relinquish my own blade in return." Feldus can give up his +1 dagger for it. Also the kukri is a Martial weapon so Feldus is not currently proficient in it.
Once the loot has been distributed, the wererat turns his attention to the wall where Valezx is working. "If this wall is enchanted to ward off members of the Way then perhaps I should await your progress outside here."
