So after a few weeks of casual lazy work I've managed to get this to a stage where I feel comfortable actually presenting it.

Note that like any of these guides much of it is opinion so your experiences may vary. My games tend not to include traits so I didn't include those. Additionally not everyone runs games in Golarion so I avoided settin material except in the case of gods.

There's more to add including a run down of spells and what not plus I need to do more editing. It's a work in progress.

At some point I plan on a complete guide to pathfinder necromancy

I love the guide, but I missed where you explain how to get Inspire Courage. Do you multiclass into Bard, or is there some awesome feat tree I'm missing, or what?

I feel like keeping an opponent down should be allowed, as per the incorrect interpretations of the rules above, and the care to keep the game fair should be invested in making it difficult to be dominant enough to always succeed in your trip check and/or easy to build a near-invulnerable defense against tripping. A lot of creatures are immune or highly resistant to tripping as it is. You could have feats like "Spider Dance" - +4 dodge bonus to CMD vs. trip, no penalty to CMD while prone; "Ground Grappler" - +4 to CMB and CMD while prone. You could even come up with detailed rules for full mount, side control, etc.

Also, I have a lot of pawns to use for miniatures, a small battlemat and the fold-out one that came with the Beginner Box, and I can buy another pound o' dice to share if you want to be ready for n00bs.

There seems to be a lot of crossover between the NOVA and Baltimore PFS...their group is here: http://www.meetup.com/Pathfinder-Society-of-Baltimore/

More games in Fairfax would be nice. I'm considering running but how do you make the transition to GM?

If you want a player for a game in Fairfax, I'm your huckleberry!

(As much as I like Pathfinder, driving to Baltimore is not my cup of tea.)

I too am looking for a game, but am too inexperienced to GM. Also, I don't yet know anything about the mythic rules, but I'm willing to learn them, or anything else. I'm in if you'll have me.

i also will be at Mysticon and we will run as much PFS as we can even if i got to add my room to the mix.

When it comes to games near the DC area VL Mike McKeown is the best point of contact.

You can Mike email from this list:

I don't want to embarrass Mr. McKeown, but I tried emailing him before, and I didn't get a response. I'll try again, but I want to pursue other options if I keep getting no response from him.

@Knight Druid
I was just about to ask the same thing! I'm in Sterling (near the northern terminus of Rt. 28). I was disappointed to see the nearest PFS group was about 200 miles away, last I checked. Where are you?
