Laszlo can cast Good Hope as swift (affecting only him).

With Divine Power, Deadly Aim, Good Hope and Haste, his full attack adds up to:
+40/+40/+40/+35/+30

Vs AC 28 that means all hit (except on natural 1s) and due to Manyshots the first arrow does damage twice, with average damage of 45 per arrow.

Total damage would be 6x45=270, not taking movement, DR, bad rolls or crits, nor anything else than pure statistics into account. Fortunately, combat is more than pure statistics.

After playing in some different games, I've found the best way to keep combat smooth is this:

-The GM rolls initiative for everyone and establishes the order.
-'Blocks' are established as well, a block being a group oc combatants belonging to the same faction going with no enemy faction combatants between them.
-Everyone in the same 'block' post their actions.
-The GM, in one post, puts the actions posted in order according to initiatives.
-Everyone in the next block post their actions, and so on.
-At the end of the round, the GM posts a summary of everyone's actions and status.

More or less. When the order of the actions would cancel or make another's posted action impossible or nonsense, the GM can ask for a change, offer a change himself or change it for something appropriate that the PC would do according to the situation, personality, etc.

It's not perfect, but it's usually better than everyone waiting for one guy.

Yeah, right. Was thinking of something different, but it's better than nothing. Sorry again, guys!

Laszlo immediately detects some larger objectives, which he decides to take on first. He gains altitude, murmurs a short prayer and shoots a testing arrow.
Swift: Cast Divine Power.
Move: Fly upwards.
Standard: Attack the red giant in front of him.

Laszlo answers Rosa. "Yes, exactly. Glad that you know her from so long. I'll give her regards from you next time" he says, bowing gently. Then he turns to Father Zantus. "Sorry, Father, as you were saying..."

Laszlo directs himself to where Father Zantus is, leaving a trail of surprised looks behind him. "That man... he's got wings, mum! I swear!"

He gots there in time to see an orc (or half-orc) lift a stone over his head like he was drinking a glass of water. "Oh, my, that guy..."
Believeing someone like him would be here for comparable purpouses as himself, Laszlo walks over there and follows the group that enters the church. Here, the effect of his wings is lessened by the miracle they all have just witnessed, though still everybody points at him when they think he's not aware.

Entering the tea, he greets everyone. "Hello? Sorry for interrupting... oh, tea!" Laszlo offers his hand to whoever is wearing priestly robes, believing him to be Zantus. "Sorry again. My name is Laszlo, humble servant of Milani." He takes a look at the symbols the man is wearing, as well as what's depicted in the church. "I was around the area and heard voice that Sandpoint might need some help. But you were about to tell a story; please, go on. I hope you don't mind me listening."

Then he turns to the rest. "Ops, sorry. Forgive my bad manners. Laszlo, at your service. A pleasure to meet you all." He accompanies his words with a communal wave.

Intro:

Laszlo was around the Varisian area searching for some materials he was interested in when he heard about the attacks on Sandpoint. Believing Sandpoint to be a small village, he was amazed at how could it survive an invasion of giants and a red dragon, and thought however they did it these people needed help. He left his farming behind and directed himself towards Sandpoint, wondering what would he find there. And what he found was disheartening...

Moving around town shows Laszlo that these people really have the will to come back from their ashes, something that makes himself stir of emotion. "Bravo, Sandpointers, this is the spirit."

Perception DC 20 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (5) + 31 = 36

Perception DC 10 to listen 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (1) + 31 = 32

He overhears some of the conversations then and there and his amazement still grows. "This Ameiko is willing to pay a fortune to restore her tavern's insignia. What an amazing willpower!"

After hearing about the existing of a Father Zantus, he decides it would be nice to meet him, hoping he will be a servant of a deity akin with his.

Heading on to see Father Zantus

Yeah, 18th level people be like, what, close to demigods, or something? They fly or teleport to wherever they want and do mostly whatever they need to do. They use vast amounts of gold on a daily basis, and the creatures they fight are the ones to scare a whole kingdom. So yeah, probably they're heard of, and probably they've heard of each other, if only vaguely. Specially with someone like Rosa. 'Yeah, that hellish lass who's scary as s**!. I heard she once faced a big black dragon and got it so scared it peed on its pants, fled home and never came back.'

Hi! Thanks for the picking.

As for the knowing each other, it depends on what you expect from us or what you guys like more. IMHO, knowing each other beforehand takes us more directly to the point, whereas being strangers makes the game slower at the beginning but there'll be tons of roleplay. I'm with any options, both have positive points.

Theoretically, Laszlo would specifically go to places where folks are opressed by a tyrannical government and the like, but he's more focused in the 'Hope' portfolio of Milani than in 'Uprising' so, if he's somewhere nearby, he would dive head first to help the poor citizens of Sandpoint in their direst hour.

Okay, just for the sake of it, I'm going to extend on the Black Dragon thing (if you all remember, I stated I was going to cure my friend from the distance). Let's see what would happen.

I'm going to assume that first round the dragon is going to use some kind of ranged thing (breath, spell, whatever). Depending on the result, he might charge at me and try to melee, or continue hurling things.

May the best woman win! ;)

Initiatives:
Laszlo: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (18) + 14 = 32
Blackie: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Round 1 (Blackie):

Standard: Breath Weapon; Ref Save DC 31 Laszlo's ST: 1d20 + 21 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 21 + 2 = 39 No damage since Evasion.
Move: Move into combat range

Round 2 (Laszlo):

Swift: Cast Divine Power through Fervor (No AoO)
Full Attack, Deadly Aim, Point Blank, Rapid Shot, Manyshot, Good Hope, Divine Power:
Arrow#1: 1d20 + 36 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 36 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 = 42

Damage: 2d8 + 19 + 14 ⇒ (3, 4) + 19 + 14 = 40

Incredibly lucky (remember he's favored by destiny ;) ), only 66 damage.

Round 3 (Laszlo):

Laszlo realises he forgot to make an additional attack last round (through Divine Power). He's going to make it now, to avoid disrupting the rolls (if you know how it works, you'll get it).
Swift: Cast Cure Serious Wounds through Fervor (No AoO)
Cure: 3d8 + 15 ⇒ (3, 4, 5) + 15 = 27
Full Attack, Deadly Aim, Point Blank, Rapid Shot, Manyshot, Good Hope, Divine Power:
Arrow#1: 1d20 + 36 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 36 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 = 57
Damage: 2d6 + 21 + 8 + 1 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (6, 6) + 21 + 8 + 1 + 2 + 7 = 51

Arrow#5: 1d20 + 26 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 26 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 = 40
Damage: 2d6 + 21 + 8 + 1 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (3, 2) + 21 + 8 + 1 + 2 + 7 = 44

Arrow from last round: 1d20 + 36 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 36 - 4 + 1 - 2 + 2 + 7 = 43
Damage: 2d6 + 21 + 8 + 1 + 2 + 7 ⇒ (2, 1) + 21 + 8 + 1 + 2 + 7 = 42

Only 1 misses, for a total of 228, plus the 187 from last round equals 415 damage. Combat Over!

Yes, quite lucky since the dragon missed a lot of attacks but, on average, if he doesn't manage to drop me I can heal as swift every round. Plus, I'm not built to be a frontman.

Magic Tatoos! Brilliant idea! I may need to review my magic items and copy your idea shamelessly :P

Edit: too costly, the extra cost for counting as slotless items puts the beyond my budget. But it's nice to randomly check some others' sheets and catch good ideas like this one!

No problem. I just saw some weird crafting out there and was assessing if it would be worth it.

Most of the alias is finished, just need to spend the last 20 or 30 thousand gold, mostly in scrolls and the like.

Another question:

Can we fake having a spell with UMD in order to craft an item, or do we REALLY have to have the spell ourselves?

Finally dropped off the Evangelist! Warpriest (Arsenal Chaplain) 18 it is. Crunch is about to be finished, only some magic item purchases will be hanging on till probably the selection day (or after).

Celestial Leopard

Pre-Round

Move: In last post I said I was moving, but checking at the map and the spell wording, if you don't mind, I'd rather stay where I am - I'm not going to reach the King anytime soon.

Laszlo is the first of the Requiem to react, since his response is so automatised - he doesn't need any weapon. He immediatly grabs his symbol and starts conjuring some protection.

Actions and Rolls:

First, let's do the Religion rolls:
Bipedal, Kn Religion 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Muscular, Kn Religion 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

So he will cast Magic Circle Against Evil as a standard, having previously used a move action to include the King in the circle.

Laszlo doubts for a second before answering. "I am here with the Requiem Wolves."

Then he goes on. "Well, I myself am a follower and representative of Our Lady Seramaydiel. I... was the only one in Restov, and hope to spread the cult in the glorious new nation." When he realises he is in front of a member of the Erastil clergy, he adds "Of course, that doesn't mean I want to monopolise the congregations. I... we... just believe in freedom of choosing. And what better chance for that than a brand new country?"

Not sure if he's talked too much, Laszlo tries to turn things a bit. "It is in our best interest, and that's for granted, that King Chalm succeeds in his endeavour, and is nice to see our comrades in other faiths are of the same ideas. I was a bit... cautious... about which of those faiths we would encounter."

"Good evening, good sir. My name is Laszlo Nagy, nice to meet you. I have been told you among the Steel Fists are a faithful servant of Erastil, and I thought it would be a good moment to know you."

After offering his hand and an opportunity to introduce himself, Laszlo asks again "Is your... organization all Erastil related?"

"Let's hope so, my friend. Let's hope so."

After having a sip of drink, Laszlo looks around a bit.

"Have you by chance seen those Erastil followers here tonight? It might not hurt to have a word with them."

"So tell me László, how many of my Green brothers have you met? A fair few?"

"Well, if I have to be honest, you're the first."

Laszlo pulls his beard for a moment before accepting Acaciano's drink.

"I didn't attend to the reunion at the square yesterday, but when I entered here I noticed some uncommon symbols on some of the people. I waswondering, and am concerned, truth be told, about how, and if, we're going to get along." He pauses just for a second to give Acaciano time to think. "At Restov, I usually mantained a low profile, and the local church of Abadar wasn't too interested in me. Do you know any of the other holy people here?" With that, he extends his arm as if trying to include the whole room. "Would be nice to know them and assess the... situation. What's your opinion on that?"

"Oh" he answers with a smile, "I didn't mention it, you're right. I am a faithful servant of Seramaydiel."

After the initial conversation, he turns his head left and right before going on.

"Quite the party hear tonight, uh? So I presume you're here because you were selected, am I right? I accompany that man over there" he says while pointing at Tomas. "Our group is called the Requiem of Wolves, I don't know if you've ever heard about them. I'm with them to spread Seramaydiel's faith under the new realm."

Before his interlocutor grows bored, he dares to ask something a bit more personal.

"And what is your aim under King Chalm, if I may ask? To my knowledge, the Green Faith cares not about boundaries..."

Laszlo made some rolls to chack the different faiths he would be living together with and how to approach them. Since no feedback was given (and the rolls weren't too bad), I'm going to assume that he has at least a small idea about them. If that's a wrong assumption, please correct me.

::Acaciano::

Hapening to be nearby when Acaciano takes his place, and intrigued by the anouncement, Laszlo decides to break the ice. His round and heavy figure displaces a bit to his right, just enough for him to be a bit closer and talk without disturbing the others.

"Good evening, good sir. My name is Laszlo. I'm a faithful follower of the Empyreal Lords." He bows slightly in salute. "Please forrgive my boldness, but I have just heard your introduction and was quite intrigued... are you a servant of the Green Faith?"

Block 2:
Sorry, this is what should have come under the "Block 2" spoiler on Laszlo's post: a religion roll to know about what possible faiths are worshipped by the selected ones (based on Tomas's descriptions, so yeah, tough). Somehow, the whole post ended up in the spoiler and the roll never happened. Bear with me, it was past 3am.

Kn Religion: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Block II:
Laszlo decides to go check how announcement went. While on his way to Tomas's house, he happens to encounter him by chance near the theatre.

"Ah, Tomas! I was wandering whether you had been selected and went already without me! Hahaha!"

After being told the good news and also about the invitation to the theatre, Laszlo decides to correspond.

"Well, then, let me take you for dinner to one of those nice taverns near the theatre. We can enjoy a good meal - maybe our last in a big while. Who knows, the chatting could always bring us news, you know. Then we'll enjoy the play."

On their way for dinner, Tomas tells Laszlo about the strange guy who wields two swords.

"Ah, interesting, interesting indeed..."

Laszlo's honour roll:

14 + 5 + 1d6 - 1d6 ⇒ 14 + 5 + (2) - (2) = 19

Does a mundane object count against the magic items limits? For example, does a spyglass (1000 gp) count as one of the "up to 1000" items? What about a special material? Is a Mithral Chain Shirt (1100 gp) an "up to 3000" item?

Sorry about my inquiries.

Also:

A level 1 wand costs 750 gp. Does that mean that, for a Cohort, it counts as one of the 500+ items? Can we, in that case, reduce its charges to 2/3 to fit the cost?

Thank you.

Seems fair to me, thank you.

Hello, Jereru here. This is Tomas Dusek's cohort.

A question:

Leadership Subdomain:

Associated Domain: Nobility.

Replacement Power: The following granted power replaces the inspiring word power of the Nobility domain.

Inspiring Command (Su): As a standard action, you can issue an inspiring command to your allies. The inspiring command affects one ally plus one additional ally for every three cleric levels you possess, who must all be within 30 feet of you. Affected allies gain a +2 insight bonus on attack rolls, AC, combat maneuver defense, and skill checks for 1 round. This is a language-dependent mind-affecting effect.

I can't see an indication about how many times per day this power can be used. Anyone knows?
