I'd agree with the Mill.

I like the idea of doing Kingdom building, since this is the AP that does it. We can certainly adventure and do both since it is a PBP game. I think this was just the first round so it took us a little longer.

Maybe the lyre of building can be an aspirational goal for our kingdom to get. Maybe we need to knock over a few other kingdoms until we have enough gold #evilkingmaker :)

IC, Farus would totaly defer to the high priest who thinks the city needs an improvement. Any idea what improvement we should get? Is there something that details what they do? It seems like a lot of the improvements we don't have are more economy focused.

I'm not sure there are any? I'm sure the group could use plenty of magic items (Farus certainly could). One suggestion for the kingdom, potentially, would be a Lyre of building 13,000gp

The lyre is also useful with respect to building. Once a week, its strings can be strummed so as to produce chords that magically construct buildings, mines, tunnels, ditches, etc. The effect produced in 30 minutes of playing is equal to the work of 100 humans laboring for 3 days. Each hour after the first, a character playing the lyre must make a DC 18 Perform (string instruments) check. If she fails, she must stop and cannot play the lyre again for this purpose until a week has passed.

If I read this right, in an 8 hour day with this item, Farus could produce 38400[ 2400 (100 humans*3 days*8 hours) man hours/30 minutes * 60 minutes/1hour *8 hours] man hours of labor, if we got that item? Or put another way, once a week, in 1 8 hour day Farus could build as much as the rest of Silverhold as if each of them labored 8 hours a day for 17 days?

@Freya, I'm also in Illinois, about 20 miles from Chicago.

Our current order is through April, and our governor has said he hasn’t made any decisions about extending or not. I would hope they would lift the order when testing capability, contact tracing is sufficient to prevent relapse here, and if that is to be the case, I expect June 1st may be a more reasonable timeframe.
