The dueling property says he also gets a luck bonus equal to twice the enhancement bonus, so that's another +6. All those together equals +11. Jack tears off down one of the aisles and down a row of chairs to end up between two of the cultists. Jack turns at the reinforcements' arrival, and reaches out to grasp one of the new dwarves' turbans, pressing down on his head to hold him uncomfortably in place. He will attempt to entangle the dark red sentry by holding his head covering. This will also blind the dwarf as his turban slips over his eyes.
Since he doubts that his strongarm tactic was successful, he decides to step back and let Henrika take a turn.

Jack steps around the clump of dwarves and aims a pair of belt-high rabbit punches at one of them, seeking to simultaneously poke his eyes and twist his guts. He sneers, as if to indicate he really doesn't like dwarves. With Kitsune Style active, Jack will attempt a dirty trick maneuver against the blue cultist. Kitsune Tricks says that if he hits, he can give two conditions instead of one.

Jack hangs back slightly, his plate armor making him less able to sneak effectively, allowing the other more nimble party members to follow first. He drinks a potion of barkskin.

Jack chortles. "Aye, paint me a sign that reads 'Here is Jack, the Best Man in the Room!' an' I'll stand wherever you like!" He coughs as he tries to catch his breath, and sits up a little more. "Listen, sir knight, you got me at a disadvantage here, because I'm in your debt. Of course I'll stand for you, but I'd be buggered if I didn't treat it as deadly serious, an' that means being forthright with you." He pauses and looks Trevor in the eye. "I'm an avowed bachelor, sirrah-- though I love the wenches and they love me, I will not be buried with horns upon my head, and so I must needs go to my grave unaffiliated. You ask if I will support your alliance with Dame Trant: a fierce, lovely woman, and a merry. So, do you invite me to be your second in this duel of love as an honest man should do, for my simple true judgment? Or would you have me speak after my custom, as being a professed tyrant to their sex? Is it you or the lady who wants this marriage? Are you sure you want to constrain your freedom in this way?"

Jack winces as Trevor tends to the affliction beneath his skin. "Uh, well, if the only thing she cares about is having more ladies like her at the event, maybe she could do worse in her choices. Ha! Ow." He shakes his head. "Who knows, maybe she can make friends with them? I've seen stranger brawls. As long as you have lots of wine at your wedding, I bet they won't be hard to convince."

Jack frowns as he experiences a demoralizing wave. He looks briefly at Henrika to confirm that she, too, is affected. When she nods encouragingly at him, he shrugs and moves quickly around the couch in the center of the room to get behind Merkondus. Once there, he attempts to cover the disgraced earl's face with his hands, pulling his headband down over his eyes. "Guess who!" he chuckles, though his joke rings hollowly through his magically-dampened spirits. Maneuver (dirty trick: blinded) vs Merkondus, bless, bull's strength, crushing despair, dirty trick bonuses, flanking, haste, satire: 1d20 + 9 + 1 + 2 - 2 + 6 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 1 + 2 - 2 + 6 + 2 + 1 - 2 = 27

If Jack manages to drop the bodyguard, he steps towards Merkondus.

History:
Pre-Recruitment: Tiamat was born in Skarokk - known as the "Dragonspire" - one of the five sanctuary cites of Nocturne - the home planet of the Salamnder Chapter since the first meeting between Vulcan and their grandfather: The Emperer of mankind. He was raised in the household of Master of the Forge An'Kalagon - a veteran sergeant of the 2. Company. Until his recruitment he went through the ritual of fire and walked bare-feet over the hot ashes of Nocturnes valleys and became a smith as his father before him, working to uphold the Wargear of their Lord and his brothers. He was elected to become a Neophyte because of his exceptional strong build and ability to endure pain. After Recruitment:
