At level 7 Fabrizio would be rocking a

7 ranks +3 trained +1 trait +3 circlet of persuision +3 thrush +2 silver tongued +5 charisma bonus = auto make it with an assist

*snaps fingers, point to elf, snaps fingers point to self, snaps fingers points to stage left*

I've seen one scenario that literally had as part of the text that if you didn't go back through and explicitly ransack the dungeon, naming each item you took, you got gold deducted. It even had a line item requiring you loot every Everburning Torches off the walls or you got hit.

However, that is not the norm. One of my characters (this one) is very talky, and has used diplomacy to talk through encounters on a number of occasions, and outside that one situation I've never felt penalized for it (and for that one, everyone who had played it before was so ticked over that mechanic that they warned us to loot it all).

Orcs are rarely that cooperative.

Having accomplished Taldan officers leading them, of course, so that history (and Inner Sea politics) will remember the Empire's role.

That's just the thing... neither the Army nor its leader is Taldan. She has yet to name a leader, and the Army itself is independent.

Theres a polite peck peck at the window. Outside a gorgeously plumed electric blue thrush waits for the window to be opened before announcing

"Fabrizio de Chevalier, of the Oppara Chevaliers, master of the Arcane, wishes to inform you that he will grace you with his presence at your Gala and is looking forward to the occasion" the bird presents an ornately gilded scroll almost as big as he is.
