Shaking off his melancholy, Ezra joins the others in seeking information about the previous failures.
"Godrum, I know each attempt must have certain variations, but any insight you could give us to help prepare would prove invaluable."

A knot forms in the pit of Ezra's stomach as he listens and begins to understand that he failed Godram.
Failed repeatedly to drive back the spectre of death, and this purgatory is the dwarfs punishment for Ezra's failure.
Ezra's eyes get dark as the gravity of his inadequacy becomes known to the group. His greatest fear realized, and he could'nt even remember it.
Could'nt honor the fallen with a tribute.
Ezra says a quiet prayer to The Inheritor, though he knows not who he is even praying for.........

Ezra is a slender aasimar and, unlike his brother, could pass for human. Indeed he is often mistaken for a human until closly engaged. He is about 5'10" with black (but greying) hair. Making him look older than his physical years. He is soft spoken and quiet in the way that makes you long to hear what he is saying.
A fierce protector, he is always calm, but aware. Even in towns and at celebrations he keeps an eye on the positions of his allies, in case they should need him. He carries a mace, but none of you, save Micah, have ever seen him strike something with it. It seems to serve him as a gavel would for a judge, more a symbol of moral athority.
Ezra is quick to accept and trust (a trait that causes Micah much frustration) but, when he or his friends are crossed, Ezra does not hesitate to loose Micah to deliver justice.

Staying focused on the Dwarf, Ezra tries to remain collected and unravel the situation.
"Please, Master Dwarf, I am in a bit of a haze and I can't seem to place how we are known to each other. Tell me your name and how we are acquainted, to help jog my memory."

If Ezra can keep him engaged in pleasentries for a minute, he will attempt a diplomacy check

Ezra is slow to shake off the mind fog and silenly asseses the room for a moment before reacting. He then moves to the dwarf and looks for signs of life.
perception: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (2) + 24 = 26
heal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
if the dwarf is alive, Ezra casts cure light wounds. for cure: 1d8 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16

Re spell failure: I also always thought bards could wear a mithril breastplate (as per the FAQ). If youre house ruling that it doesn't, please let me know. I may drop that armor. It's alot to invest just for the movement.

I will want to be in surprise rounds to get buffs started but I will have a solid perception check so lookout isn't vital.

Ive got a good diplomacy. and I can understand all languages(even in combat). But I only speak Infernal and Celestial durring combat.

Just a reminder, Ezra has the tongues curse, so he only speaks Celestial or Infernal in combat. If you guys could throw a rank into linguistics for me it would help alot.

Ezra is not super-prickly about customs and rituals. But evil spells would certainly make him very uncomfortable and (while he is not a violent man) undead would only live until he got a chance to channel.
How feasable is it to use summon spells instead?

Good Question. I also left a few spells/feats unchosen to give me a little party flexability. LMK if you would rather I chose them and then changed them if needed.
