![]() So, I was just reading up through my copy of Ultimate Intrigue and was wondering about the Guild Breaker archetype for Rangers. Going through the additional resources, I realize that it's not one of the banned archetypes, so I'm wondering how exactly it'll work in PFS. Oh, and is it possible to make one with a favored enemy (Aspis Consortium)? ![]()
![]() Well, from what I'm seeing there's not much in the way for males.. But for females, there's always Highlady Athroxis. Unfortunately, in my experience it's almost easier to just find a mini that you like with a similarly shaped weapon (Spear, Greataxe, ect.) and just swap the head of the weapon out. What kind of character are you trying to get the mini for? Maybe a character description could help. ![]()
![]() We meet every other Thursday to play Pathfinder ACG or RPG. Unfortunately, there are only two GMs currently and we're constantly looking for new players! We've had quite a problem with not enough players showing up to play, so we've also adopted quite a few side games to play on the off-weeks. All updates will be kept on here, or via our mailing list. If you'd like to join our mailing list, please notify Trenton Chestnut (me) at Tschestn@gmail.com ![]()
![]() At White Widow games, we're looking for all players willing to give PFS a try! We only have one GM for organized play currently and players are middling.. It's gotten to the point where we can only run it every two weeks, as there are only three players that can make it on a semi-regular basis. The store owner is a great guy and he's actively trying to promote PFS in the store, but I'm not certain that the interest is there. So, here I am. I'm trying to get the word out as far as possible that we're looking for someone, ANYONE, that is in the area and willing to play. We meet on Thursdays at 5:00 PM, every other Thursday currently (though I am there every week with at least one player). The next Session is Nov. 5th, and if you have any interest at all, please stop by and mention it to someone working. My contact info is on the big whiteboard/calendar or the event link located Here. ![]()
![]() I was doing it entirely for backstory. (Well, the AC bonus is nice too) My character's grandfather was a Hellknight of the Order of the Pike when they disbanded (back before the Chelish Civil war in 4606), taking their armor with them. He spent the rest of his life as a guard before drinking himself to an early grave. The character's father hated his dad, a violent drunk, so hid his father's weapons and armor away. My PC would have inherited upon the death of his father, as his father had inherited it before. Seeing it as a stain upon his family's honor, when he heard of the Order of the Pike being reformed eighty years after its destruction, he set out to redeem his grandfather's memory (and his armor). It's a little rough, but it was always a theoretical character anyway. Starting as Battle Host, I was going to go that for 5 levels (until he can call upon the spirit of his grandfather), occasionally dip into fighter for the bonus feats and BAB boost. From then on, he'll go Hellknight Commander (since he's not a divine or arcane caster, he can't be a signifier.. and he's more of a smashy guy anyway, what with taking transmutation as his first school, wielding a greatsword, and using lead blades as much as possible). ![]()
![]() So, now that we've got everything set up.. I've done two consecutive weeks of PFS at White Widow Games and I think we're ready for more players. We've only got four that are showing up and I've asked around the store.. what should I do to advertise? We play on Thursdays at 5, but everyone is typically there by 4:30. If anyone is interested in playing, you can message me, swing by the shop and tell the owner (his name is Anthony), or simply show up. Here's a link to the Event. My contact info is all there as well. ![]()
![]() I'd be willing to try. I've GM'd Pathfinder before, but I've never actually had anything to do with Pathfinder Society. I'll read through the Guide though and see what the difference is. EDIT: I'm reading through the stuff now. I see that GMs have to run scenarios.. hm.. I'd totally be willing to GM. It'll be a learning experience! ![]()
![]() I'm also located in the Myrtle Beach/Conway area and am looking for a good PFS game to join into. I've been playing for a few years and I've been looking for a party since my GM moved to Louisiana a while back. So.. wait, is this thread dead? If not, is there a PFS certified GM/group anywhere in this area? |
