well.... it's Wednesday now guys, so my dreams of being done by Friday will not become reality I'm afraid... if that speeds up the game, Enora will liberate any prisoners, slaves or captive creature we encounter, in order to get any Liberty's Edge boons available for this scenario...

I think we defeated the boss, so I don't think the rest of the mod needs another fight if we can instead release, liberate, come to an understanding, etc. with the rest of the enemies we find...

She also makes sure to dispossess Phlegos of all alchemical reagents and poisons.

"Malark, make sure Phlegos is breathing and comfortable. I wouldn't want the Society to accuse us of mistreating their prisoner."

She taps Phlegos with a few charges from her wands of cure light wounds and gives him her waterskin to ensure his comfort and well-being.

Finally, she activates her Arcane Barrier before moving on to the next part (+10 temp HP, 7 min)

Enora reaches into the far reaches of her mind to replace her spell of obscuring mist with enlarge person. Then she flies 5 feet south to gain cover from the balcony.

Via message spell to everyone, "Our silver-tongued kitsune should step in beside Malark to close the gap and protect our spellcasters... either that, or I can enlarge Malark. Malark: what will it be?"

Quick Study (Ex) As a full-round action, Enora can spend one reservoir point to study her spellbook and swap one of her prepared spells for any other spell in her spellbook of equal level.

Can we just say we totally own that boss in one round? :) then we can have time sorting out our chronicle sheets for Gameday VIII! :) btw Malark you're hasted, so you can move at like speed 60 and put the whammo on whoever's in that room...

Enora casts haste on the party just before they open the door.

Haste, 7 rounds: When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with one natural or manufactured weapon. A hasted creature gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. All of the hasted creature’s modes of movement (including land movement, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) increase by 30 feet. Haste dispels and counters slow.

Malark you can actually move into the north room and attack a dog as I have opened the door; I recommend nonlethal against the dogs, but that's just real-life dog owner in me talking... :P

Receiving Taber's signal via message spell that silence has been placed unto the large table, Enora flies in front of the northern double door and pushes them open in order to let everyone in.

Enora drinks the potion offered by Malark and thank him kindly. She then casts Mirror Image. When close to the manor, she adds a minor enchantment to Vanish from sight. Sending a Message to the others, she lets them know that she will scout the outside of the building quickly.

On the way to the ship, Enora casts message on everyone.

Arriving at the ship, Enora waits patiently for Faliana's discussion to end. For effect, Enora then lands unto the deck of the ship, and hands each sailor a single gold piece. She flies back behind Faliana, without a word, and nods to her.

***Via Message to Faliana*** ...tell them it's an advance on what's to come and that there will be many, many, many more of the same coinage...

*God no! in PbP we DO need someone to be the leader and take charge otherwise you end up turning in circles for whole weeks always trying to reach consensus... it's... exhausting...

Enora uses a charge from her wand of mage armor, then whips out her rod of lesser extend metamagic and casts the following spells: shield (14min), fly (14min), haste (14 rounds)

Enora spends several seconds spellcasting, and at the end, the whole party's movement are quickened beyond what would be naturally possible.

Enora: AC 24; Fly 90 ft.
Party Buffs: Haste- +1 atk/Ref/AC, Speed(all) +30ft., extra attack as part of full-attack.

Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31

Added purchases under alias, trying to think what would be useful in helping prisoners. Due to pregen having only 247gp, I'm limited to just a few items, but if you have a lot of cash or if you have access to the cleric spell list I would also recommend delay poison (regular or communal version, depending on your class and level), silence and invisibility (for stealth ops / caster countermeasure), and some extra healing for the poor fellows...

Pregen purchases so far: (minus 100gp: antitoxin x2; minus 50gp: antiplague x1; minus 30gp: wire saw; minus 25gp: smelling salts)

"Much appreciated, and many thanks. Phlegos is a poisoner, so everyone here should buy a vial of antitoxin or two. I will rearrange my spell list to include 'knock' on my daily arsenal as well, since that might come in handy to rescue the Pathfinder prisoners. You are an honorable genie, Lord Khanuur."

Enora adds the title on purpose, and bows her head to Khanuur in genuine respect. A sense of great tranquility and accomplishment washes over her, and she thanks Nethys for the great wonders that magic have unexpectedly brought to her on this day.

Outwardly, it looks like she is bowing to Khanuur and blushing a little.

...for instance, why do I hear "Reek" whenever I hear "Greet", and start imagining Corvius Vayn removing branches Bolton-style out of the poor not-really-a-slave plant Pathfinder during a garden party?

"Draklor, we are Pathfinder Society agents tasked to bring a known corrupt member of our organization back to justice. At times it is not enough to chronicle the deeds of others. A times action is required. To do nothing in the face of this corruption is to be complicit with it, and thus gives us a weak leg to stand on when our mandate demands that we be the dispenser of justice towards one of our own.
In other words: how can you bring back Phlegos to justice for being a slaver if you willingly ally with slavers along the way, in the name of taking the easy way out? Justice is paramount, and it goes beyond borders if we are to truly believe the universal mandate and goals of the Society. To accept the blindfold of local slavery laws as an excuse for justifying slavery is to be myopic in the extreme. I personally don't know how a Pathfinder can wake up in Absalom one day, after all the slaves were freed there a few years ago, and go to bed in Sedeq while accepting the continuing enslavement of a potential informant and collaborator... not to speak of going to bed after handing Greet out as a slave to a despicable man such as Corvius Vayn..." finishes Enora, looking at Traber to gauge his reaction.

Anti-slavery jurisdictions with or without guild-approved hiring terms would never subject their citizens to such humiliation. Greet may not work the mines during his 'vacation' with Mage Vayn but he will be paraded like the prized possession he will become, which may or may not require him to do a few tricks for the amusement of the crowd."

"My trust for Khanuur is greater than my trust for Vayn, at this time. How can you stand there and even consider putting one of your fellow Pathfinder agents into slavery to satisfy the whims of this arrogant man? You underestimate the might of the Society: we have our orders from the Decimverate to bring back to justice one of our own: I want to satisfy this mission as quickly and efficiently as possible, and Vayn's offer to enslave one of us is a poor excuse for cooperation, which means he cares not about the Society. Let us show him what the consequences of this disregard will bring upon his estate. This collar is obviously a twisting of the cosmic terms of engagement between called outsiders and mortal mages, meant to gain Khanuur's services for free essentially. This is in itself a gross disregard for ethical business practices, and is only as good as this collar will last. Let us show him that his 'investment' in this collar was misplaced so that he learns not to use these in the future and pay the proper prices to genies and other outsiders called into his service."

I still wish to free the Efreeti, as I am Liberty's Edge through and through, and because Enora also has a silent hate of slavers, being a halfling in Golarion...

While Faliana focuses on the collar with her mystic powers of perception, Enora casts detect magic to see the problem from a different angle. After her eyes are deeply attuned to its magical spectrum, Enora pulls out the Greater Chime of Opening, and targeting the collar, rings the chime, hoping to get rid of any magical arcane locks placed upon the item. She pays attention to the effect the Chime has on the collar's magical auras.

Assuming something is dispelled, and if the collar doesn't pop open due to an actual rivet or chain or welding or locking mechanism, Enora continues:

"There. Malark, if you would be so kind to take care of the physical aspect of the job?" adds Enora, handing him the adamantine metal file they were given by Karisa. "Sometimes we need to crack some eggs to make an omelette: I don't think I'd entertain a long-term business relationship - or any relationship - with "Mr. Vayn" here, anyhow... and frankly, the thought of liberating someone from slavery sits well with me. Who said that only those worshiping celestials should be worthy of mercy? I trust Khanuur will behave with honor, once released. Faliana: let us know when you are ready, but time is growing short, and I would prefer putting distance between Mage Vayn and ourselves after this..."

Enora understands, not touching the teacup, but holding her palm a few inches above the steaming beverage. She smiles, and says, "Some situations can be too hot even for a mighty efreeti, I see... and you won't help us for free. I understand. Would you do it for your freedom?"

"The measure of all sentient life, in my opinion, resides in the manner in which that sentience approaches other sentience around it, and its capacity to exchange ideas and information in an open, transparent manner. Such is the foundation of real communication. Half-truths, ignoring others, and similar deceit tells me much about the measure of a being. You have chosen to ignore my question, Khanuur. I will not repeat that question again. If you ignored it because your thoughts or words are monitored, then I would understand. Such imprisonment of one's freedom would make one's heart burn bright like the sun. On the other hand, if you have coldly declined to answer me, your heart would be cold as ice. Pour me some tea please, Khanuur. Thanks."

Knowing that the efreeti could bring her teacup to a boil by merely holding it for a second and wishing it to be hot, Enora awaits her tea, and will carefully test it's temperature once received...

Enora waits for a few moments before approaching the Efreeti.

"Well met, Khanuur. Do you have information on Venture-Captain Phlegos Dulm? If so, do you wish to give us this knowledge freely, and without payment asked or expected?"
