"Who is I?" Emri shouts back as the voice recedes. "No, wait, I mean, who are YOU?"

She leans over to Quisillo. "Dead guys want you to know that, right? Or is it... they don't want you to know...?" She shrugs. "I haven't talked to a dead person before. Well, actually, I have. A lot. But none that talked back!"

Emri points beckons for Quisillo and points out the suspicious skeletons. She waggles her eyebrows at him, apparently expecting him to be fluent in eyebrow waggle.

After she does, she scampers back downstairs and over to the door on the right, ready to move on. Opening it, she heads over to the first door and beckons Morsun over. Best to let the expert check for traps before she waltzes right in. You never know with rich people. Or ghosts, she supposed.

Emri eyes the blobby thing suspiciously for a long while, then shrugs. "Weird. I wonder what else is in here."

She returns to the centre of the room and looks up, curious if she can see a balcony landing, or second floor hallway at the top of the stairs.

Emri looks around at her pals and (soon to be) pals, still munching away on a sweet bun. She shakes her head and rolls her eyes. "Yeeesh! Why so serious?"

She finishes her bun, dusts her hands off, cricks her neck this way and that, then scampers off ahead, looking unconcerned but alert.

If we're calling exploration activities, Emri will take the Scout activity: You scout ahead and behind the group to watch danger, moving at half speed. At the start of the next encounter, every creature in your party gains a +1 circumstance bonus to their initiative rolls.

@Sazen: To clarify, I have no idea what you named the cat, and just called it Burny as a nickname. I don't mean to impose a name on it.

Emri considers the culinary advice of Sazen and Quisillo, tipping her head back and forth. "I don't think I'd mind the feathers. Of course, I've never been a picky eater." At the words 'cook for us' Emir's eyes brighten, and thoughts of the raven flee her mind. "Are you a good cook, Quisillo? And by good I mean generous with the portions!"

A chipper little halfling walks along with the group. Incredibly pale, with shoulder length blonde hair so light it's nearly white, and red makeup around her eyes, cheeks, and the tops of her hands, it's obvious the little waif comes from the far north, where the sun rarely shines and the weather is cold. (On closer inspection, the makeup is tiny red scales). She's dressed in a red wool coat, with a high collar, buttoned up over her clothes, and a jaunty red knitted cap atop her head. The hem of her knee-length green dress, trimmed with fine embroidery, peeks out from under her coat, along with her black breeches, that reach barely past her knees. Despite her apparent warm clothing, her hairy feet are bare.

Emri hums to herself as they continue down the road, then grins at the glum turn their conversation had taken. "Dour as ever, Morsun! Remember what I first told you? Give me a room, a bed, and a meal, and I'm fine!" With a dimpled smile she leans over to the gnomes, "He's a sweetheart, I promise." Then she raises her voice and continues chattering away. "Haunted or not, I bet this place has all of that! ...Though, I admit I brought my own food! Never eat food offered by undead or you'll never leave again! That's what my grandma used to say!"

Emri cocks her head to the side and taps her chin in thought. " ...Or was that fey..." She shrugs. "Whatever."

She tips her head at Sazen and whistles. "I still can't believe you trained that firecat so well! Seems like only yesterday ol' Burny was trying to claw our faces off..."

Her stomach rumbles. "Speaking of clawing faces off. Am I the only one that thinks that raven looks delicious? Seriously. When was the last time we stopped to eat? I'm famished!" She pulls a sweet roll out from her pack and takes a big bite. Through her stuffed mouth, she looks at Merlin. "So, what's your story, pal? You as serious as that armor makes you look?"

Shuffled Emri's stats a smidge and swapped out a monk stance feat she had for brawling focus (it gives her critical specialization with her unarmed strikes/brawling, etc. Details in her profile). Also realized I'd never picked which of the rings Emri got as reward, so she took the stalwart's ring. And yes, thanks for putting the bracers aside for her Morsun, she's taking them.

With the last of her spending money she's buying one minor healing potion and one lesser healing potion.

The +1 IS the potency rune. So a +1 striking dagger is a dagger with a +1 weapon potency rune and a striking rune. It grants +1 to attack rolls with the weapon (from the +1 potency rune) and deals one additional damage die (from the striking rune).

Emri races up to the river, and takes a wild leap over it in an effort to bring the fight over to Vilree!
