If you all decide to go home I understand and will support that. But if we do, I think we should return by the route we came here by. If our people choose to come here... it will not be a small group that guards the way for our people. It will be hundreds of warriors of all different skill levels and abilities. That's IF the winter council sees the idea of sharing a home with so many other races as agreeable. We didn't live with other races in Kyonin... why would they choose to do so here?

Spells:
Arcane Bolt 7/7 ; 1st-6/6 Elrinides is a veteran of the barbarian wars
Seregruthon is going to be a whole different breed from the assassins we fought in the streets. Knowing he was behind the attack adds much. More than likely one of the purposes of the attack was to bloody his new warriors. Those who were captured or died he would write off as weak. Those who survive will come back to him with more experience and resolve ready for more training. Elrinides switches his focus from the room as a whole to Auramesties... It is also likely that the attacks on us could have been a diversion for another action by more seasoned assassins. Be careful Auramesties you and the other elven leadership both Kyonin and Sovyrian are his most likely targets. It is wise that you held back the more seasoned warriors to deal with his eminent assault on El. The fact that he has passed through the Sovyrian Stone shows that he is being helped by someone of great stature That last line was addressed to the whole room. If one of these leaders is behind the attacks it is better that they be concerned about us. Hopefully they will make a mistake the other leaders in this room will pick up on.. The last few comments are addressed to Elrinides traveling companions. He most likely views us as little threat and will continue to use us as a training tool for his weaker assassins. Either they wil attack when we are vulnerable like the first attempt on us. Or they will wait for us to engage a third party and then strike hoping to wipe out the greater immediate threat. We will have to assume that is us. . It is so strange. I have spent so much of my life serving my people in roles I was ill suited for. I had to come to Sovyrian just to find a way to actually be useful to them. It is almost like my whole life in Kyonin was just something to prepare me for this. anything in italics Elrinides would be more than willing to share with his traveling companions during out of scene conversations.

Is there anything else in particular we should be looking for? Is there anything else to can tell us of the other races on Sovyrian that may make good allies? Spells:
Arcane Bolt 7/7 ; 1st-6/6 We know that the person who targeted us knew exactly who every single one of us was and how we were going to get home. They managed to coordinate nine assassins to all strike nine different targets in nine different locations at precisely the same moment. For goodness sakes they even knew where to find Vesryn who until yesterday didn't even live in the city. It's possible that the captured assassin lied but not likely. If he was telling the truth he didn't even know about the contest. Were any of the other contestants that didn't win a contest targeted? If not then the orders to attack us were most likely handed out this evening after we had already won the contests. That means that either the person targeting us had agents at the contests or was there themselves and then figured out who we were, where we lived, and then managed to get that information disseminated to the attackers in a matter of hours. So the question becomes... who knew who we all were... where we live... had something to gain from derailing our mission outside of El... and had the magical juice to pull it off. It may have been a Sovyrian or a Kyonin behind it, but they would have had to have had access to information about all of us. There are no shortage of people in either group who see more differences between the two groups of elves than similarities. Hmmm... Are there any of the other races in El that would have had something to gain by fomenting distrust between the two branches of our family? But if I had to go with my gut the perpetrator would be a Kyonin elf of considerable stature in our community that had something to gain by undermining Master Auramesties relationship with the Sovyrian hierarchy. But in the end all we are doing is making random guesses with far to little information.
