Let me echo the praise of Super Tumbler! What an amazing ride! A beginning, and middle, and a finale! Frankly, I doubt I'll be lucky enough to have another game like this.

Max barks a laugh at the professor, "Sorry. Don't give him that much credit. Una tried to take over our dimension again. She combined with Dracula and Malador to do all of this."

"Before she started, she imprisoned most of the heroes in a fantasy dimension. We've got to release them to help us rebuild our dimension. Where do you want to help first?"

"Professor!? Amazing." Max calls out grabbing his mentor's hand and pulling him to stand and embrace. "It's so good to see you. How are you?"

Max locks eyes with Serena realizing that they are both getting the same message. He wants to comfort and escape with the her, but he nods at her. "Thinks like we won. Hope Gracie and Gylfir can return. We've lots to do to restore this dimension. Where do you want to start after we help these two?"

Keeping half his attention on Serena, he floats toward the ash of Eoten to help the man stand. He nods to her to collect Alex.

Gracie. Don't misunderstand the player. I'm happy for you to play Gracie however you want. It's amazing drama! And a great finale!

However, Max is perplexed. The goal was for Una to get in the jail whether Gracie talked her into retirement or Gylfir pushed her in. So, he has no idea why Gracie would jump into the prison with them.

We settled on prison for life, because death doesn't stop magic villains. Case in point, both Dracula and Malador were both already dead.

Max watches Gracie follow Una into Gylfir's prison. Unbelievable. That was the plan that she agreed. Her moral compass is so weird.

He glances back at the dust of Dracula and calls out, "Eoten! Malador's next! Smash!"

He gestures causing red sigils to rotate around his wrists. "Be bound by the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak" Red ribbons snake out from the sigils and envelop Malador.

Max shakes his head when Malador rips his mask from the Crimson Bands. Some Master Mage, he thought to himself. Looking over the field, he sees a few mismatches.

"Sandstorm! Surround Malador with a uh sandstorm to limit his actions!" Max calls out while flying a bit toward Eoten and Dracula.

"Eoten! Get ready to smash the vampire!" Illuminated sigils rotate around Max's wrists as he gestures and says, "Let shine the light of the Seven Suns of Cinnibus" causing brilliant ray of sunlight to shine on Darcula.

Sunlight vs. Dracula: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 of course. Spend a Hero Point
Sunlight vs. Dracula Hero Point: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 Sigh.

While Serena maintains the portal, Max focuses on maintaining possession of Malador's mask. With a focus of will, he pulls back on the Crimson Bands.

"Gylfir, put her in the pot!" Max calls out when Una remains within their dimension. He maintains his portal to New Valhalla.

Instinctively, the master mage pushes power into the Crimson Bands when Malador strikes. "Team cleaver! Target Malador and Dracula!"

Max maintains his portal and Bands. Does he get an Action while Concentrating?

Max watched Gracie hurtling toward the titan's in amazement. She was the most courageous person he knew proving it every time. He hoped his plan would work encouraging it with a private c'mon!.

A broad smile erupted on his face when it worked. The titan shattered taking the Sentinel statue with it. They would replace it with a statue of Gracie. He floats a bit into the sky to get line of sight to Una and the three pieces of Malador's mask.
Flight 1

The three pieces of Malador's mask, Una's catalyst to this apocalypse, needed to be secured. "Be bound by the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak," he launches red ribbons from glowing crimson sigils rotating around his wrists toward the pieces to bring them flying to him, and into his pockets.

"Alright, I'm opening the portal. Team jailers, calibrate my portal to a dimension beyond Una's power and put that Una-puck in the net!" The illuminated sigils rotating around wrists change shape, color, and direction. "By the craft of Anog the Keymaker, I open the doors to the..." He hangs the trigger word to repeat what the Hypnotist and/or Gylfir decide.

”Good. Thank you,” Max nods and replies to Gylfir and the Hypnotist. He turns to everyone and locks eyes with each in succession.

”Alright team. Final review, so everyone knows their roles.”

“Team jailers, Gylfir and Hypnotist. Distract the titan by focusing on their conflicts of interest and motivations.”

“Team cleaver, Gracie, Sandstone, and Eoten. Wedge Calesvol in good and hit it with the power of the gods. Again, your goal is not to damage but to separate them.”

“Team gatekeepers, Serena and me. We first portal you into position. Then, we and the jailers portal Una into her eternal jail.”

“Everyone else, help keep everyone in position and out of harm’s way. Good? We can do this. We’re ready. Oh, and after Una is in jail, the first ones to subdue Dracula and Malador wins a prize.” He smiles at the levity and looks for confidence and commitment among the team.

Max nods and replies, "Got it. Well, I hopefully will return soon. Besides discussing that book, I would really like to know what happened to you. But right now, we have to go save the dimension again." He finishes with a sad smile and floats back to the rest of the crew.

Arriving at a comfortable pause in the Gracie and Merlin conversation, the mage says, "I've the start of a plan. Gracie, we need to use Calesvol as our wedge to separate the titan. So, you need to jam it in good. And then, we need to hit it with a couple of near-god powers. Eoten and Sandstone, I'm looking at you two."

"Gylfir, there's a lot of internal strife and conflicts of interest within that titan. Need you to start stirring that pot as soon as possible and weaken the titan internally for the shock of the wedge to work."

"My main open question is our end goal for Una. Need to disconnect her from the dimensions where she draws power and trap her somewhere. I like that fantasy dimension she made for the heroes, but if I could detect the dissonance so might she. Need to be more subtle than that. Vivian, do you think you could you use your connection with her to make her transition into the fantasy dimension believable? Maybe do it when we shatter the titan making her believe that we failed, and her titan plan won the dimensions."

"Obviously, Dracula and Malador need to be mopped up, but we've done that before. Any other suggestions?" Max looks around the assembled troops looking for consensus.

Max nodded at the confirmation. ”So, let’s say the team can separate Una. How do we disconnect her for her sources of power? What have you tried which hasn’t worked?”

::Gylfir, I’ve got the beginnings of a plan. Can you find Sandstone? We might need her and any other with the powers of gods. ::

Max accepts the book and absorbs uncle Adrian's words and implications realizing he would not be here without the directions from the Hypnotist and the serendipity of finding him during this crisis with Una. In reply, the new Master Mage carefully closes the book and says, "Adrian, there will be time to discuss that passage later. First, we need help to devise a plan to separate Dracula and Malador from Una's tripartite titan. It's too powerful right now and destroying the dimensions. Would a wedge work? Where could we jam Calesvol into the titan, and what would we have to hit it to separate the titan into its three components who can be defeated again?"

"If brute magic won't work, how could we trick the titan into a fantasy dimension where it could continue to conquer? What would you do?" Max's tone of voice has shifted to ask not as a student but as a colleague for suggestions. The panic has drained out of his voice as he focuses on potential solutions.

Accustomed to startling magic, Max smiles and resists the urge to get up and hug his departed, beloved uncle. "Well, sir. We currently do not have a Master Mage, and we are out of ideas on how to break Una's titan."

"I think if we had a wedge and something really powerful, we might do it. Then, we can either defeat the three with the force of all the heroes. Or, Gracie wants to trap Una in her fantasy dimension that she initially trapped to give her worlds to rule. Dracula and Malador can be destroyed again."

"We've come for ideas. A plan. Hope. That we can save the dimension." Max rambles.

Max tiredly smiles. What a comforting memory and appearance, the thinks to himself, but it’s made of stone which is unforgiving and almost eternal..

He remembers the advice that sometimes, you just need to sit down and relax for the knowledge that you already have to connect into a different pattern.. He doubted he meant to have a stone armchair, but you never know with uncle Adrian.

So the mage slowly settles into the stone armchair attempting to get comfortable while searching his Sight and Mind for the last master mage. Uncle Adrian, the universe needs you again. I need you again.

Max opens his Sight in the crypts and starts looking for his uncle Adrian. He leaves Gracie to discuss the situation with the Merlin and floats through the crypts until he finds another former master mage.

"Now I remember. The master magi would be found in the crypts of Karu." With more local minor fireworks, the mage opens a portal to the crypts. "Step this way. We're in a hurry."

Max looks at Gracie oddly, ”separating the titan is most likely the plan. But, it doesn’t get much past how to do that, which is why I sought out Uncle Adrian. He and the other master mages might have an idea about that AND trapping the three of them in their own dream dimension.”

“Plus, I can shuttle all the heroes who we left in that dream dimension here, because we might need some reinforcements. Maybe the Hypnotist can help with that, too.”

“Clear-ish?”. He continues to float through the village looking for mages using his sight.

”… unless dimensionally shunting them was easier than killing them. Some of those heroes are hard to kill. On the other hand, even I have the keys of Azog to move dimensions.”. Max replies to the undead Gylfir.

Max smiles and frowns at Grace’s comments. ”We need a plan. Probably a wedge to separate the three-face titan, because we can defeat them individually. Uncle Adrian and the other mages here should help us create that plan.”

“Back there, fighting that titan, we would just suffer the same fate as the heroes shunted to that dream dimension.”

“Hmm. Hypnotist, I just thought of that. Una started her conquest by moving all the heroes into this fantasy dimension letting the heroes fight fantasy crime. It was dream like. Maybe you could help us bring the rest of the heroes trapped there here to Shambala to mount our counter-attack.” Max finishes his random idea.

When everyone assembles, Max closes the portal, "welcome to Shambala. Let's go find the real Eldritch. He's supposed to be here." He leads the way floating next to Serena.

When Gyflir confirms that he’s assembled the heroes near him, Max targets him to open a dimensional portal with the keys of Azog from Shallamba.

The mage calls through the portal and calls out, ”let’s go regroup.”

Then, with some illuminated sigils rotating around his wrists, he heads to Shambala, to reunite with his uncle and prepare for the arrival of his army.

"Hello there Hypnotist. Well, Una is threatening the world again. Need everyone's help. Yes please, let's go to Shambala." Max replies.

Along the way, he mentions, "your son found us. Great kid. He's struggling a bit with his connection to the Dreamworld. How have you been doing?"

"Definitely, Gracie. Great idea. The fey are threatened by Una as well." Max replies. "I wonder with the dimensional barriers bent... I wonder..." The mage reaches out with his feelings trying to contact his uncle, Adrian Eldrich, the last master mage of Earth.

Max checks himself to avoid sweeping Serena into a loving embrace in relief and instead focuses on his crimson bands clutching the amulet as if it was a nuclear bomb. Its strong connection to the titan is clearly obvious to his magical Sight.

"We can use this amulet as a wedge into Una's magic. Serena, do you need access to the Netherworld to reclaim your magic? And Gracie's idea to put Una into the fantasy dimension that she crafted for the heroes seems too good not to try."

With Serena's magical defenses neutralized by Gracie, Max reaches out with Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to remove the amulet from her.

"C'mon Serena. Let go. Be free of her."

Max closes the portal behind Serena when she enters the prime dimension cutting from her Netherworld power source. He pivots in mid air surveying the ruinscape looking awesome. He spots Gracie and Eoten nearby and calls out, "ready, you two? Get her amulet off."

With a twist of his fingers and illuminated sigils rotating around his wrists, while he closes the distance with Serena, he creates a powerful portal of Portheus in front of Serena, the knight, and giant.

Max barely dodges the Netherworld Master Mage powered attack. He was not going to stand against the Master Mage for long, and the Master Mage was not powerful enough to escape Una's control. He needed help.

:I need help, Eldritch. I'm going to try to lure her to our prime dimension. Can you get that amulet off her? We need her to defeat Una.: Max

"By the craft of Anog the Keymaker, I open the doors to the Prime dimension." The mage opens another dimensional portal in as many minutes. "Serena! Catch me if you can!" With tears streaming down his face, he retreats from the love of his life into the ruinscape of the primed dimension looking for his teammates.

The mage rhetorically asks as glowing sigils appear in a snap rotating around his wrists causing red ribbons to reach out for the Una's amulet, but are easily deflected.
