He awkwardly hugs Cutie in return, both due to inclination and to the way his arms are made.

The Tin Wizard abruptly finds his companions piling on to the mannequin. He also finds himself abruptly flanked by the errant office furniture.
"The best defense is a good burn the people attacking you!" he declares, raising his patented light up staff. It sparks for a moment, then those sparks turn into a flame that roars out to engulf the two filing cabinets.

"Tut, tut, this is no way to organize things," his approval for Cutie turns to disapproval for the owner of this office as he sees the mess.
With a sigh, he begins sifting through the papers to try to find the one they're looking for.

The Tin Wizard circles around the room, his face screwed up in concentration...or it would be if his painted face was capable of displaying expressions. He uses his arcane insight to scan for any magic hiding anywhere, paying particular attention to the book shelves, the desk and tables, the couches and under the rugs.

I believe you apply it to your 1st but you get gold equal to what you would get for participating in a 1st level scenario, not a 3rd level one.
That's the advantage of treasure bundles. They have a value based on your level, not the level of the scenario.

She is heading back toward the stage to get a line of fire on the door when the cannon sounds.
"We can head to the station with you, Sergeant. We'll make sure you know the whole story and can get any rewards that might be coming to all of us if our new friends don't mind," Zindarel suggests.

I have to say, I prefer PbP but this sort of thing is one advantage of sitting around the table. It's a lot easier to share rules knowledge and clarifications when you can talk it out instead of message back and forth.

Yeah, I definitely don't have all the rules down (and have an even harder time keeping three similar but slightly different rule sets in my head.)

The d6 becomes d10 which rolled a 5. That doubled and becomes 10. Then the other d10 gets added so the total becomes 17. Then the +1 gets added which makes it 18.
All assuming it was actually a crit and the guy's AC isn't 21.

I think that it just becomes the 2 dice at d10 and then is doubled for the Crit. In 2e you don't double your rolls you just double the damage. In this case, if it's not a crit, it does 3 damage. If it is a crit it does 26 (the "Fatal?" listed doubled.)

You're right about the One Shot, One Kill. The profile has it all together and I forgot to delete it before posting.
"Somebody needs to stop this guy before he gets the door open!" Zindarel declares as one of the bad actors gets next to her.
She's not the person to do it though and she moves away from him, jogging past Zakzak then spinning, reloading and giving the male lead the same option he gave the female lead.

"Yup. Amazingly resourceful," Zindarel says. There seems to be a hint of a double meaning to her tone but the bulk of the statement is quiet pride.
She keeps her mithral tree handy and an eye out for any one, living or dead in the building with them.

She gives Zakzak a thumbs up, though. "Good job, little buddy," she calls out, then eyes the gathered zombies, below.

"I knew you could, too, Buddy," Zindarel replies to Zakzak with a smile when he lands in the upper room of the building. She had watched him closely the whole time he was crossing the rope, only glancing down occasionally to see where he would end up if he fell.
She grabs another 40 rounds of ammo when it is offered. If she needs more than that there's much more trouble than any amount of ammo will solve.
As Zakzak eyeballs the no no closet, she edges toward it, planting the butt of her gun on the floor in front of it and leaning casually on it, as though it were a staff, her hand holding the barrel and none of her body parts over the end of it.
"We might actually have a use for that cannon," she comments, thoughtfully, eyeing the front door. "If we need to make a break for it through there, it would be nice to have at least part of our path cleared..."

She kips up onto the rope and starts across.

Zindarel looks out at the mass of undead below and clicks her tongue. "That's a lot of undead rich people," she comments.
When Martelle makes her suggestion and offer, she says nothing for a bit.
"I'd rather go out shooting than huddled up in a bar waiting for them to find a way in. And I'd rather not go out at all, if I can avoid it. I'm in."
She waits while her new friends get themselves patched up then looks to Martelle.
"Any way to get to the roof. Booker's got the right idea. I don't want to wade through that mess if we can get closer."

Zindarel flips the table she's behind then ducks behind it, her hands flying across her mithral tree even as she's crouching. When she pops back up, it's reloaded.
With all the banging and booming and explosions, it seems Zakzak has found some kindred spirits. But there is more than one way to use a gun (in fact, there appear to be at least four ways...)
There is a faint smile on Zindarel's face as she takes aim. She wonders if the zombie is smart enough to even make a choice.

"Help that guy out, Zakzak. Looks like you're going to get to shoot that thing indoors after all. Just make sure you don't kill anyone who's not dead, already."
She gets a good line on the zombies, glancing over her shoulder, spins, plants her feet and shoots.

"Outside," she says with a nod.
She leans over to look under the table. "It looks like we can all do some shooting later," she comments.
"It's not often me and Zakzak meet up with someone else with this kind of hardware, let alone two people with it."
She gestures to the rifle leaning against the back of her chair. Actually, it takes a moment to realize it is a rifle, the stock large and ornately carved and covered in metal so it looks more like some strange decoration than a weapon.

"DO NOT try again!" Zindarel exclaims as Zakzak starts to scramble around to begin repairs.
"This place is far too crowd to demonstrate that thing. I don't want to spend the night watching you explain to the city watch how you'll find the missing finger yourself and it was a total fluke...again."

Zindarel just listens, a faintly bemused smile on her face, as Zakzak gives their tablemates the 3rd degree. She isn't even watching the exchange but rather is turned slightly in her chair, one arm draped over the back, her legs crossed at the knees while she watches the excited crowd across the street.
"Not everyone enjoys risking their lives for entertainment, Zakzak," she answers when he finally winds down.
"A play lets people get away from their every day lives and, in this case, is a place where they can be seen and people can admire their finery."

The much calmer elf leans over to her goblin friend. "Now, Zakzak, we've talked about this. No ordering for the table unless you've talked it over with them. For all we know our new friends might be allergic to pickle juice or grubs," she chides, gently.
But she nods to the bartender to indicate that she'll have what the goblin requested.
"Nice to meet you two," she says to her other tablemates when the bartender is gone. "I'm Zindarel, this is Zakzak. Some people call us Double Z. We don't like that."

It can be hard to get that in Society play (and in other play, for that matter.)

"Well you were right about the treasure, Elsir," Jadren says as they find the treasure chest.
"Well..." he obviously looks uncertain at Kaako's suggestion. But then he looks around at the other three. After a couple seconds, a slow smile comes to his face.
"Yes."

"Fabulous hit," Jadren says as Kaako takes the giant skeleton down.
"I'm good," he answers Elsir, though he's obviously a little hurt.
"I'm not too worried about how big the treasure is, now. I'm more worried that the next level is bigger than this one!" he says with a grin.
"The Captain never made us work THIS hard when he was still alive."

I believe the skeleton misses Jadren thanks to his Reactive Shield Feat. It would have taken his AC from 23 to 25 which is just hit to just miss.
Jadren takes a moment to study their opponent and try to get a grip on what it is.

He tosses the holy water.

I've never used a touch spell in 2E before. From what I can see, I don't actually need to make a touch attack, it hits automatically and the opponent just gets to make the save?

"What do you think guys? Is there a trick to this one, or do we just have to knock this guy down?" Jadren asks, though he's already marching into the center of the chamber.
Along the way though, he sheaths his sword and pulls out a small vial. The contents are clear and, to all appearances are nothing more than water.

Jadren gives Lavanna a quiet, grateful smile after she heals him. He feels literally as good as new.
"Good job, Kaako. You always were clever!" Jadren says when the tengu gets the statues in the right order.
He looks on in wonder at the display then shakes his head with a rueful grin at Elsir's comment.
"Yeah, hopefully this isn't one of those 'and the real treasure is old friends' sort of things. Although...I have to admit, seeing you all again has been worth the trip, so far."
He stands there awkwardly for a few moments after saying that, looking at each of them, then away.
"Ahem...anyway..."
He moves quickly to the newly revealed door with weapon and shield ready.
