Yeah, when I have a player who takes this trait, I just ask "do you want me to just up the starting cash so you can afford the stuff you need to function so you can take a better trait?" If it's something they're actually using the 900 gold for where an extra 100 gp or so to buy the correct composite longbow wouldn't suffice, I would be suspicious.

Every alchemist I play takes this to buy a portable alchemist lab and a bunch of alchemical supplies. I also take the "Black Sheep Apothecary Aliver Pillbug"to get poisons at level 1 and a place to buy them.

True, but there's a huge difference between "clever thinking" and using "cheats"/"hacks" you read on the internet.

The wording is a little vague to me. When it says "select two metamagic feats you do not yet have", does that mean you get to use them immediately or do you have to wait to use Sacred Geometry until after you have taken those two other feats?

The former makes this far too easy for a player good at math or using a computerized device. The latter interpretation makes it seem more sensible.


I know "potion" is not legal, but what if I make something very like a potion as a wondrous item?

How much would it cost?


This is a general question to everybody here:

Do you think it is inappropriate for a straight, mundane gender person to play a LGBT character?

I understand the desire to play different kinds of characters but I also wonder if it might be analogous to "blackface" done by a white actor.


Necromancer is lawful good and will only animate dead on corpses of people who willed their bodies to him after death. Their wages go to their families.

Dworkin studies the torches and tries to remember what he knows about magic in order to answer Raul's question.

He whispers to his compatriots: "I think the guard should take him away now."

He pulls out the ingredients to get ready for a bomb.

"Give it up! We have you outnumbered!" He demands.

Intimidate: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (12) - 3 = 9

"What's this now?" He shouts.

Dworkin has darkvision out to 60'.
