Eh, dead is dead. I'm not sure what the rules are as to whether any god would be annoyed about the consumption of a unicorn in Golarion (In Forgotten Realms I'd be worried about Mielikki, but I'm not aware of a Mielikki equivalent in Golarion), Erastil maybe? I'd imagine that a cleric or paladin might have a problem with eating a unicorn, but outside of those annoying alignment bound types most PCs are a bunch of murder hobos, so I doubt there'd be a problem. I'd take the unicorn's horn with me if I ever encountered a unicorn corpse anyways, if only in hopes that I'd get some bonus against diseases for it. I doubt the unicorn's gonna care, prancing about in Elysium as it assumedly is. I guess it could be sticking around as a spirit and haunt them, but as someone mentioned earlier I doubt they'd be so rare if that was commonly the case.

Greetings, illustrious sages of the forums! I come to you for advice on building an illusionist. I've started a new campaign with some buddies, and since we're a little lacking in the subtlety and arcane departments(The other party members are running a barbarian, a fighter, and a paladin, so no stealth for us) I decided to go with a spellcaster, particularly an illusionist, to support. Of course, I know nothing about playing an illusionist. I've run spellcasters before, and I think I've read enough about the different types of figments and the like to say I know their limitations, but I'm still having trouble deciding what class to go with. I'm partial towards wizards, since they're the more classic illusionists and I have more experience woth them, but the Veiled illusionist sorcerer is quite cool, so I don't want to count it out yet. I've also heard good things about illusionist bards, and the Wayang race's Shadow puppeteer racial class appeals to me, so I'm a little torn. So, I come to you guys. Which would you suggest? Also, any advice you can provide on the spells and items to take for whatever class you suggest would be appreciated. Thanks in advice for any advice provided! Also, assume that, unless I take the shadow puppeteer, I'd be running a gnome for my race.

Don't think this would technically work, since I'm fairly certain create undead only creates the basic form of an undead and not variants, so you can only create a normal mohrg. Still a very interesting idea, albeit one that could end in your immediate and violent death if the original mohrg died, freeing all the others from your control.

Hmmm, let's see...worked in a bar before it burned down, after a freak accident involving a still lit pipe of a surprised patron and a bottle of alcohol he accidentally knocked from the wall. Actually managed a successful job stealing information for a nobleman, except the nobleman was assassinated before he was paid and he was forced to flee the city he was dwelling in as the noblemen and women he was hired to steal information from sent people to retrieve him and the information he acquired (A possible adventure hook later on). Worked for as a sheepherder, until the sheep he was herding died of an illness they contracted before he was hired. Worked as a cart driver until his cart hit a rut in the road, sending it tumbling over a small cliff face he was just passing by, sending the cart (And it's wealthy occupants) to their doom. Also worked as a ferryman, before they dammed up the river, forcing him to abandon the boat he had spent all the money from his previous failed jobs on.

How about, aside from it being a trash hill, the "Voice of the heap" is an otyugh currently living in the pile and enjoying all the goblin worship?

Ah, here we go, magic jar. The caster's soul enters a jar, gem, or similar receptacle, leaving their body lifeless. They can then attempt to possess another beings body, trapping said beings soul in the receptacle they are currently inhabiting.

I can't remember all of the details, but I recall a sort of Drow tale from a D&D book that, in my opinion, is the perfect sort of story for the Drow. Supposedly, long ago, among the elven people's spread a a terrible plague, killing millions of elves and leaving yet more grieving family members in its wake. The plague was apparently magical in nature, and nothing the elves tried could prevent its spread. In those days there was still great animosity between the elves and the Drow, though the two still retained from strenuous ties. The elves suspected the Drow, believing the plague to be the work of their alchemists and poisoners despite the fact that the plague had stricken the Drow as well. The Drow of course knew that they themselves were not the cause of the plague, and were curious as to the plagues cause. Eventually, the Drow found the diseases progenitor to be a Demon, who's name I can't remember (Some appropriate demon name or other). In true Drow fashion, they threw aside their petty grudge against the demon, and have since worked with him to spread many plagues among the elves and other goodly races. I can't remember the exact details and they're hardly relevant to you, but I believe the tale was in The Crystal Shard, a Drizzt Do'Urden book, the fourth, and one of my favourite in the series. I believe Drizzt was infiltrating Akar Kessel's tower...? Whatever, doesn't really matter unless you want to reference it.

JuJu Zombies are a personal favorite of mine.
"How would you like to retain your personality, appearance, free will, all your abilities, and basically everything else, but become immortal and immune to electricity and those pesky magic missiles?"
This is a good idea actually. My problem with it is that they aren't really the necromancers undead then. They just become some undead who follows you around. It can refuse your orders if it wants to and just leave whenever it feels like it. I'd want to be able to use the undead at my own impunity, with it under my control. An undead friend could just turn against you whenever it feels like it. I mean, it may obey your orders if it suits it, but if I wanted it to enter a situation where it may be killed it could just say screw that and leave.

So I was looking at the create undead spell, and was wondering if it was in some way viable. I've had a curiosity with regards to necromancers, though I've never gotten around to playing one (To many Pharasmin party members) so I've seen guides like Brewers and Shaka's before. The general consensus seems to be that create undead is powerful, but to volatile to be considered viable. I was curious if there was a way to change that. I considered the command undead feat as an option, but a will save every day for any type of intelligent undead seems like a bit to much of a risk to me. So, I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas with regards to how to control intelligent undead without the constant danger of breaking free. If this is sadly the most viable option, I was wondering if anyone knew any good ways to effectively incapacitate these undead for long enough to get them back under control. I know there are quick fixes like web spells and the like, but I was wondering if there was a somewhat more reliable option then a spell, like an item that's good for containing them as soon as they break free, a contingency of sorts. Thanks in advance for any advice on the matter.

Myconids! Well, that's a flashback. Haven't heard that name since I read the second book in a series about a certain dark elf ranger and his kitty friend.

I have a imp, a cacodaemon, and a quasit serving me in my game, it's hilarious, because they are always squabbling over which underworld I'm gonna end up in. XD
