Male Human Mechanic 1

This is my alias for my sfs character. # 230291-701

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Okay so this counts as one. What if I play a pregen character? does that apply to just the pregen or could I apply it to another?

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

I played in ONE pfs game, and it was on pbp and I didn't really get the short explanation I was given. I would love to have some cash for this character; but how do I know when I level up?

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Yeah I don't have the welcome to starfinder boon. Also what do we do about the rewards from this mission? I'm not very familiar with how that works.

Profession(lab technician): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury thinks for a moment. "Showstealer?" he offers. "Seems a bit simple, but since you made it for the purpose of boasting, you should have a name that does so as well."

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

I'm glad that someone else follows the psychically-ingrained belief that red makes it goes faster.

And we should add more Dakka to the ship. Always need more Dakka.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Question about cheating:
Would it be possible to hack the OTHER racer's remote control systems and interfere during the race that way?

I hope that Bit can assist my rolls, or he can do some of his own and potentially add a lot more boosts to the ship.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury opens up the holographic interface on his custom rig, leaning towards Bit and getting his opinion on optimizations of the ship's systems.

Not including any assist rolls. If I can get assistance I can guarantee that we succeed at all four optimizations.

Round 1
Computers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
Increase Base Speed by 5 feet.
Round 2
Computers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Increase Piloting Checks by +1
Round 3
Computers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
Increase KAC by 2
Round 4
Computers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15
Increase EAC by 2

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

"If I have the materials to work with, I can make an engine that would win such a race." Dr. Bradbury says absentmindedly, accessing his rig and drawing up basic mechanical schematics. "But I can't pilot the thing."

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury sighs. "The source of your shorting power grid, evidently." he replies.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

"Better head on up." Dr. Bradbury says plainly. "We should bring the cause of his trouble so it doesn't get back to it when we leave."

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

I... can't believe that I've been on the forums for three years and never knew you could stack spoilers.

I also was going to roll perception, but was flabbergasted with the extra spoiler. Sorry.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Omg, a spoiler within a spoiler? what sorcery is this?

computers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

Dr. Bradbury touches the console with his prosthetic hand and his custom rig connects him to the system, easily venting the steam from the room.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

I would need you to start an alien archive boon for me too.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

I'm SO up for getting credit for this! This is one of the two SFS adventures I'm playing in and would like them to count towards playing a new race in future SFS games!

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury will remain back and let the more personal people handle the situation. He will connect his rig to the door controls, and make sure there's not a problem with the door seals. If he can grab the access logs, then he would like to do so too.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

"Indeed. The two of us can figure out whats wrong while the rest of the group help with threats or manual labor." the doctor offers.

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury gives it one last shot before he considers rebooting right then and there.

So Help Me Exocortex!: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
THANK THE DIGITAL GODS
Fire Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
So much anxiety for just 1 point of damage...

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury sighs loudly and tries shooting the creature again.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Ducking behind cover he taps the disk set in his temple. "You know what? I'm reformatting you when I get home. This is abysmal performance and you know it."

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury will fire from behind cover, testing an altered targeting configuration.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

"No... that's not it. he says to himself, recalibrating.
Dice roller hates the doctor...

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury continues to fire upon the creature, but is starting to get frustrated with his aim.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

"This is why I prefer to work behind a computer!" he grumbles, moving to a crate for cover and hunkering down behind it. He starts tapping at his custom rig, reconfiguring his targeting subroutines.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Surprise Round
Dr. Bradbury spots the creature and opens fire first, knowing that a tactical first strike can secure victory.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

First Round.[ooc]
Having made his opening shot, his exocortex begins collecting targeting data and feeding it to his vision.
[ooc] Move action, activate combat tracking.

He then shoots at the creature again.

1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1
What a disappointing program! I need to do some calibrations...

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Stay safe.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

The doctor has a +12 to computers. However, he's got a custom rig built into his prosthetic arm, so he should be okay without the datajack.

Dr. Bradbury nods to Bit. "I can link to computers using my rig, so if you prefer it, I think you could use the datajack."
------
"I'm unfortunately not able to access any information on them, but they do indeed look dangerous." Bradbury agrees. "Perhaps the Zero Rifle we were gifted would prove advantageous?"

Fortitue: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Dr. Bradbury stands in line diligently, handling the 6-hour wait with the patience of a man who regularly spends longer waiting for a program to finish compiling.

The doctor will contribute his share of the credits to buy Ziggy a copy. Is it bad I envision his last name is Stardust and his telepathic voice sounds like David Bowie?

Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Dr. Bradbury scowls as the kids storm past him but he avoids any interaction with them other than to snap a comment at them to look out where they're going. Afterwards, he grumbles a little bit about how undisciplined they are.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

I want the datajack if possible, but i can also use the Zero rifle. Though i will gladly let someone with a higher attack bonus take it. I would take a battery for my pistol though.

Dr. Bradbury nods. "The album will be easy enough to handle, but the alien may be an issue. Do you have a physical description of the creature? I may have information that will make removing it easier."

Male Human Mechanic 1

Hey guys! I got my character commissioned by a friend of mine. Here it is!

I actually kinda like the look the art style gave him. :p

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

I use Solid State memory storage. Spinning hard drive disks in my head would drive me crazy! @_@

Dr. Bradbury mentally recalibrates his targeting and takes a shot at Blue. "You should give up and go back to your lives before they're irrevocably lost!"

Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 1 = 13

Player: Rungok
Character: Dr. Bradbury
SFS# 230291-701

This is my first SFS character, but I also am very familiar with the SF rules since I work for a 3pp company. I can get answers to rules questions really quickly if we want to discuss them.
I'm not familiar with Society rules, however. I didn't know if there was a lockout that prevents me from using this character on the second gameday if this one wasn't finished yet.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Hello? I wonder whats going on.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Dr. Bradbury grits his teeth as the pulsecaster blast hits him. His exocortex beeps internally. Primary target designated, initiating combat tracking...

With his computer system aiding his targeting, he opens fire with his laser pistol.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4
Lol nope.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Malcom gives the men an incredulous look. "There is no reason to be so rude, son. We have important business here so please, go on your way before station security has to intervene."

Bradbury comes forward, activating his Starfinder insignia and holding up his hand. "Dr. Bradbury, Starfinder society. We're tracking a digital security breach, and our sources lead us to here. If you don't mind, I would like to check your infosphere uplink, so that I can continue the trace. I assure you, if there was no one data mining here, then there's nothing to be concerned about and we will continue our search once we have the next relay." He explains, giving her a professional, if emotionless, smile.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

While Bit engages the man in conversation, Dr. Bradbury accesses his custom rig, searching digitally for a signal or any systems of import.

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

"Appreciated." he says in response to Terikesh. "I am also medically trained, so if you get injured during any battles, I will be able to patch you up."

Oh great. Thank you for explaining!

"I am skilled in computer espionage. I should have little trouble recovering the data... If im not distracted by outside forces." Dr. Bradbury says, agreeing to the mission.

I am pretty darn good at computers for a level 1.

Oh that's really cool. How do boons work? Like, if I take the healing elixir boon, does it stay with my character through different SFS games until I use it?

Culture: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

"We should be received with a modicum of respect; the starfinders are well-received here in Absalom station." Dr. Bradbury states. "I also vote to see the Wayfinders first. I hope to get assigned to an exploration vessel as part of their science team."

Wayfinders

Male Human Mechanic 1

Telepathic contact acknowledged. Bradbury's ordered mind notes the contact and replies.

He considered the rest of the group, noting physiology and gear.

The human turns to gaze at the three others. "I am Dr. Bradbury. Well met." he says, a brief smile gracing his austere demeanor.

"Gloves or no, the implant itself should be visible to the right scans." he concludes, looking at his palm as he toggles the implant on and off.

Male Human Mechanic 1

A human man with sharply trimmed, graying hair and a stern expression walks forward. His outfit is clean, sharply pressed, and relatively simple in design using primary reds and blacks with a high collar. His left-hand under the sleeve shows the matte silver color of metal. His temples have metal disks inset on them, with a single ring of dim blue light inside them. His eyes are natural, though little lines of bluish light forms streams of data that contrasts the pale brown of his corneas.

Stepping up to the device, he places his right hand on it and his cheek barely twitches when the device implants with a hiss. Nodding his head, he moves to provide a cheek swab.

After checking his internal chronometer, he nods to the hologram.
"Good evening, Guidance. Thank you for seeing us."

Wayfinders

Thank you! :)
He's built as a science officer type character, with some medical skills. No magic heals, but still good.

Wayfinders

Hi!

I made this SFS character for 'the commencement', which I think is okay to play alongside the AP, since it will be done long before we earn any xp for the adventure path, right? (I've only ever done society play once before so I don't know much)

I think he's rather complete, so let me know if there's a problem or something and I'll make something else.
