Doubtful races around the enlarged Lasaraleen, his open wounds closing over from the channel. He's not sure why everyone's suddenly talking instead of fighting, but he's pretty sure it will do no good. One hand flashes outward, striking at a point in the middle of her chest. Single move, single attack applying stunning fist! unarmed strike, PA, haste, inspire: 1d20 + 11 - 2 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 11 - 2 + 1 + 2 = 28, for 2d6 + 4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1) + 4 + 4 + 2 = 13 damage plus stun (DC 18 Fort negates)

The golems didn't do anything? Are we just destroying property here? =P Now that he has a weakened spot, Doubtful slams his booted foot into, then follows that up into a few more jabs. Flurry1, PA, haste: 1d20 + 12 - 3 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 12 - 3 + 1 + 2 = 32, for 2d6 + 4 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 6) + 4 + 6 + 2 = 21 damage.
confrim1?: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26, for 2d6 + 12 ⇒ (3, 2) + 12 = 17 additional damage.

"Freakin' glass." Doubtful complains, as he steps up to the closer one. "Probably bad luck to smash them, too. Just like mirrors." 5' step. Flurry of blows on the cyan one, with power attack, spending a ki point for an extra attack. He will not bypass hardness, so subtract that from each. Flurry1, PA, haste: 1d20 + 12 - 3 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 12 - 3 + 1 = 22, 2d6 + 4 + 6 ⇒ (5, 5) + 4 + 6 = 20 damage.

"If the corpses don't jump us here, they'll jump us somewhere else..." Doubtful adds, with a resigned shrug. "From behind... when we're ill prepared." Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (7) + 16 = 23 The dwarf's nose wrinkles, clearly smelling the same thing as Numair. "Probably some sort of sewer golem, or feces elemental." He mutters as he pushes the northern door open with his foot, peering into that room. Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (15) + 16 = 31 If he sees nothing, he will close it again, and march down to the door at the end of the hall, and try that one.

Did the critter actually go? The first one down, Doubtful steps up to the second, and pounds away at it at well. flurry1, PA, bard, haste: 1d20 + 12 - 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 12 - 3 + 2 + 1 = 21, for 2d6 + 4 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (3, 3) + 4 + 6 + 2 = 18 damage.
confirm?: 1d20 + 7 - 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 7 - 3 + 2 + 1 = 24, for 2d6 + 4 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 4 + 6 + 2 = 17 additional damage.

It takes all his training to dodge the horns of the huge constructs, and he quickly goes back on the offensive. "These are probably the little ones." He mutters as he sends a few boots, and a couple of fists pounding at the nearer one. Flurry of Blows on cyan, and should it happen to fall over, then 5' step and put any remaining on the other one.
flurry1, PA, bard, haste: 1d20 + 12 - 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 12 - 3 + 2 + 1 = 31, for 2d6 + 4 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 1) + 4 + 6 + 2 = 19 damage.

Put a token for everyone on the map... you'll have to place them yourselves though. =) Doubtful is not at all surprised when the woman disappears leaving creatures to attack. Not does he waste any time leaping right up to them, before they can get their bearings, leading with one heavily booted foot. Single move, spend a ki point to raise his AC by 4 for the round, attack! unarmed strike vs cyan, PA: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 11 - 2 = 16, for 2d6 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 4) + 4 + 4 = 14 damage.

Doubtful's reaction is almost instinctual... as the blue flames start to cut them off, he is suddenly launching himself out of the way. With almost no motion to indicate its about to happen, he's leaping over the flames, to land in the clear space on the far side. Jump: 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (14) + 32 = 46

Doubtful will use his wand of mage armor (or get someone's help doing so. =)) Doubtful will lead the way, figuring they'll get ambushed no matter what, so might as well get it over with. He will take a moment to listen for signs of trouble and keep an eye out for said ambushes. Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30

"Great." Doubtful mutters, as they approach the stall. You're not sure what he means by it, though knowing his usually disposition, probably nothing positive. "Anyone know how to stop this stupid thing?" He asks, mostly rhetorically. "Hell, stopping it probably won't help much, just delay things long enough for something worse to come along." He uses his circlet to take on the form of one of the less obvious locals (A fetchling, most likely). Then works his way forward through the crowd, trying to get a view on what's happening.

Doubtful follows Dreng at a distance, back to the inn... sure the man is going to get in some sort of trouble on the way there... or that he himself will get lost if he tries to find the inn on his own. Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27 He keeps a suspicious eye out for anyone else following. Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21

"More likely we'll need his help." Doubtful predicts, dourly. "S'pose I could keep an eye out..." he adds, with a frown. "Though more likely to get mugged myself, than help, I'm sure." Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27 He quickly wraps his robes a little tighter, then scans the nearby rooftops for a moment, before suddenly launching himself upwards towards a nearby eave, on one of the lower buildings, and pulls himself up to stake out the meeting from a safe distance. Take a 10 on the jump, for a 42. Once up there, will use the circlet of persuasive disguise to appear like a wayang... then find a good spot to hunker down and watch from a distance.

The dwarf's eyes easily penetrate the gloom, but he still doesn't trust the place at all. He starts slowly down the narrow street directly ahead, eyes peeled for the inevitable trouble. Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35 "Ya, 'cause this looks safe." He mutters, generating gloom all his own.

Doubtful just snorts, at Hamaria's comment. "None of it was destroyed." He growls. "'Least not by us." "Your people took the painting, the waxwork walked off on its own, the fancy hat thing took the agent, not the other way around, and the sword... the last person to look at that died years before it went missing." He shrugs, not bothering to explain things any further, leaving that to those less surly... though pretty sure Hamaria won't believe any of it.

"Investigate first, report later." Doubtful growls, at Lasaraleen's comment. "Wouldn't surprise me if he was in on all the disappearances too." Not to mention, Nigel seemed nervous about getting caught talking to us... if we start reporting back each time, it just increases the chances of that happening! =) He glances at the signs on the walls, then starts heading towards the next closest exhibit in question. Shrug, any work... lets go for the Headdress (#3)... reverse order! Curses!

I've seen some posts about this from a while back and believe it is time again to bring this into light. There are many gamers here on the east coast who would love to go to a large convention like Paizocon, but it just isn't in their budge to afford plane tickets to seattle. I do believe that Paizo can gain alot from opening a new convention somewhere here in the east. Atlanta or somewhere close would be a central hub here in the east and alot cheaper for people. I hope this opens discussion and new possibilities for everyone, including people in charge at Paizo. |
