Half-orc Unchained Monk 14, Venture Captain of the Tanglebriar
Cast Greater magic fang The giant octopus, oozing with black slime, ignores any threat and moves through the large doors. Its tentacles move as it speaks, humming to a voice that does not seem to have a clear center of origin. Steam rises from its pores as it lurches forward in one move. Move 35 feet forward "Take out these guards. I will HANDLE Tygora myself! ha blub ha blub ha blub!"

We have an important matter to discuss; it is pertinent that we speak to her at once! It concerns the legitimacy of her authority. We have no need for violence, because there is confidence in a diplomatic solution. Move, little elemental masters, you have no quarry here. Dizzy says with a menacing flicker in his eyes.

I don't trust giants one bit, but maybe we can use the fact that he's enslaved here to our advantage? On the other hand, it might be wise to inform the councellor of our success before we meet up with someone who's allegiance is unclear. I vote we visit the councellor. Dizzy says, while scratching the back of his head.

I have watched the darkness of the forest all my life. What are you, recruits yearning for a bed? I do not like watching doors, for they are dead and easily disposed. However, if you deem it wise to stay it is my duty to stay with you to the end.

Suddenly, Dizzy seems as if stung by an insect, a low growl coming from his throat. What am I saying? Remember the lessons from your master..! always be vigilant, always be watchful of your steps. Thank you sensei. On second thought, I don't trust these people at all. I have seen kinder and more hospitable folk who eventually turned out to be puppets of a darker force. My gut, dark as night as it is, tells me we shouldn't be here. This Tygora has our fellow pathfinders, dead.. or worse. Who knows what her plans are for us and if those plans are already in motion. Please do not take this personally Eurdan, but I would prefer to stay outside town for the night. Are you guys with me? I will prepare a shelter and supper.

Dictatorship is unnatural... we must cleanse these hard lands from passion that burns too greatly... By the fists of my ancestors... I think we should bathe together with this person, and see what their true motives are. If need be, we could resort to more... difficult matters. The embassy of Kyonin has spoken. Ugh. Dizzy says, as he barfs up some black slime.
Half-orc Unchained Monk 14, Venture Captain of the Tanglebriar
Well met, Eurdan. My name is Dizzy Dinkletrinket. I am an embassy of the Sovereign Court, a council of nobles originally from Taldor. We are here on a mission, but are suprised to find a thriving village in what we thought was a barren wasteland. Perhaps you can answer some of our questions later. For now, let us meet in private. What location do you suggest?

Don't think he knows what he's getting himself in to. I am aware of my condition, thank you. Remember that this is the taint that demons bring to this world, and that I never asked for it. In fact, I bathe multiple times a day, to no avail. People usually just get used to it. Patience is the only way to bear this burden, so I shall be patient with you. Next time, let it be a reminder to the evil that still lurks in this world, so that your resolve may be strengthened to help those in need. Nokazi Stoneclaw wrote: "Your body odor is overwhelming my senses, but I think I can stomach the smell for the day. May I suggest a rose petal bath?" Rose petals you say, eh? I think I will give this a try. Excuse me, I'm going to try and find some. He then proceeds by taking a bath, scrubbing himself thoroughly with the rose petals. Patches of black, oily sweat float on the water's surface...

Dalligar suddenly feels a powerfully built hand on his shoulder. A 6,5 foot tall half-orc stands next to him, hulking. He is wearing nothing but a loincloth, a greataxe and some trinkets. His torso is covered in a tattoo made of glimmering light blue ink, resembling a stylized octopus. A low, growling, yet calm voice greets the people gathered, releaving dozens of deep facial scars as he speaks. Don't worry, young man. The venture captain will arrive shortly. Let us wait for now. Then you notice the smell. A sickening vapor emerges in wafts from the half-orcs sweaty body, an aroma best described as that of a stagnant pool... with something dead in it. The half-orc keeps talking, unaware of his own body odor. Make a DC15 fortitude save if you're adjacent, or be sickened for 1 round... Once you saved(or failed) youre immune for 24h ;) Greetings, fellow pathfinders. My name is Dizzy Dinkletrinket. I was found in the blight forest of Treerazer as a child and was raised by gnomes.. hence the name. I hope you don't feel uncomfortable with my... affliction, a remnant of that fell demon's taint on the forest. Now, I am an envoy for the elves of Kyonin and am ordered to act on their behalf in the Sovereign's Court. Please do not hesitate to tell me if you have problems with my... appearance, for then I will take a bath.
Quote: -Should I choose Menhir Savant or Saurian Shaman? Menhir savant, because it's more fun to choose than being stuck with dino shapes imo. Quote: Is there any reason to pick Saurian Shaman? Yes. But like I said above, you're going to miss out on other awesome stuff. So it's more about wether you want to be a dino-mancer or more of a versatile wild shape user. Quote: But where do I drop the +2?? I was thinking of constitution since then I get better hp for melee. But then again +2 to str gives more monstrous strength in animal forms. Your stats already seem incredibly solid, I wouldn't worry about it too much. 20 STR is VERY deadly. Quote: -Item suggestions? check out this and this ring is nice so you don't have to spend a feat on wild speech. Quote: Is wild armor worth it? Yes. Get it on a stone plate armor as well, as armor penalties are not taken into account when you're wild shaped (because c'mon, you're going to be wildshaped 24/7 anyway right?).
Casts: Raise dead Kazumetsa Raijin wrote: It also supposedly makes all of your natural attacks a Primary attack, so they lose no attack between the set of attacks if you're going all natural. The Octopus for instance, 1 Bite attacks and 8 Tentacle attacks. You can just do a multiattack with just tentacles for a total of 8 attacks at the same static attack value as the first one. You can then use your unarmed damage for it. Where are you getting this from? It doesn't state anywhere in the monk unarmed strike class feature description that you get a Primary natural attack, only that: Monk Unarmed Strike class Feature wrote: There is no such thing as an off-hand attack for a monk striking unarmed. A monk may thus apply his full Strength bonus on damage rolls for all his unarmed strikes. And that: Monk Unarmed Strike class Feature wrote: A monk's unarmed strike is treated as both a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that enhance or improve either manufactured weapons or natural weapons. You take Feral Combat Training: Tentacle. I think you would still get the -5 penalty on tentacle attacks, but only in a full attack, even without using your bite attack in conjunction with your tentacles. |
