Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel hugs all of her team-mates and dances around the monolith merrily for a minute before getting very, very close and examining the whole thing very carefully, "What is it, do you think?"
No knowledge from Gorvy/Dirgel but I am interested.
When they return to the settlement, Dirgel disappears for a moment and Gorvy returns. He looks sheepishly around the group, "Sorry about Dirgel. She's very... enthusiastic." The young man proceeds, now that the action is over, to interview everyone he can and makes extensive notes to take back to the society.
Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel produces a rainbow striped wand from her robes, "Would someone please do me a great service and close this wound for me?"
On closer inspection, you see that she has wrapped ribbons around a regular wand of cure light wounds.
Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel makes a coup de grace on the creature she subdued, "That's quite enough of you."
damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10
Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel sighs in satisfaction and waves her rapier at the foe, ”There, isn’t that better?”
Female Elf Warlock
”Ow! Whoever said ‘fight fire with fire’ was a doofus!”
Dirgel steps back and cocks her head to one side, ”Maybe you need a little sparkle?”
She folds her hands into the complex patterns of a spell and sprays a shimmering rainbow of colour over the elemental.

Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel steps forward and tosses a bolt of flame at the creature directly ahead of her green.

In actuality, I never take ten/twenty if it seems vaguely important.
I just don’t see taking ten on knowledge as different to taking ten to swim. I can remember what is, for me, basic information as easily as I can swim.
Female Elf Warlock
I have a wizard whose haversack is full of reference books giving +2 to knowledge checks.
I reckon taking ten on knowledge skills makes perfect sense.
I have a masters in Ancient Greek History. I got it twenty years ago. Two years ago there was a quiz night (raising money for a development for a local school) and one round was Ancient History. I thought, well, I'm a bit rusty but we'll see how we go. I found it really easy. I was disappointed, in fact, that the round was so easy. I thought every team would get ten out of ten.
Nobody else got close. My too easy was everyone else's too hard.
If you're a level 2 character who is trained in a skill and has max ranks, you will think things are obvious that an ordinary joe has never thought of.
I have also definitely been on the other side of that as well. I was about to fork out a load of money for a plumber last year and a friend of mine just completely fixed my washing machine in about five minutes, for example.
Female Elf Warlock
"If anyone's got the magical chops to turn that thing off, don't hold back." Dirgel grins, "Isn't this amazing though? Seren said we'd see wonders if we joined the Society. That: that is a wonder!"
Dirgel casts a protective spell over herself.
Female Elf Warlock
Does anybody here need a spare pair of hands or benefit a lot from aid another?
I’m concerned that Dirgel’s one trick - bolts of fire - might be useless here.

sense motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel, out of her element, looks around for threats while the outdoor-types save the druid.

Yep, I have +5 acrobatics and a+0 strength.
Female Elf Warlock
Petro has the highest perception, it seems.

Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel readies to cast colour spray if the creatures attack.
Female Elf Warlock
"Well, would you look at that!" She claps Paemil on the shoulder, "I think that one's sweet on you."
Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel smirks, ”So, they don’t like fire? Well then.”
She twirls around, her left arm outstretched. As she twirls, a flame grows in her palm and she tosses it into the ground between the wolverines and the group.
attack vs DC5: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
fire damage, if relevant: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

"Runes written in one-eye?" Dirgel raises an eyebrow, "Hang on, do you mean cyclops? Is this cyclopean stuff? I heard that cyclops' used to be super-smart and awesome but, y'know, a long, long, long, long time ago. Maybe throw in a few more 'longs' as well."
She grins at the goblin chief, "Well then, Dragbog, it looks like you're our guide. Let's go find Shenzen's draco-lich!"
Female Elf Warlock
Dirgel grins, eyes glittering mischief, "Oh, you can think of me as Gorvy's better half. I'm here in his stead until I get bored but, really, I've been here all along. I was even there in Jorsal's office when you nearly shook the door of its hinges."
The elf stands erect, scowls and puts a finger across her top lip in place of a moustache then drops her voice to an absurdly gruff baritone, "Good morning. I understand this is the room for Venture-Captain Jorsal's briefing. Vasvax, seconded from the 12th Infantry of the Molthuni Imperial Army, at your service."
After a moment, she takes away her finger, stares at it for a moment, her voice returning to its normal merry, light note, "A poor substitute." Then she puts away her grin, although a smile remains, "I do like your moustache, Mr Vasvax, very smart."
Gorvy's seamless guise to not look anything like Dirgel earlier: DISGUISE: 1d20 + 37 ⇒ (7) + 37 = 44
Female Elf Warlock
About a minute later, a tall, colourfully-dressed, female elf steps out of the building, "That's me. Gorvy was talking about me."
She grins and skips merrily toward the group, "Hale and well met, fellow pathfinders. I'm Gorvy's more interesting replacement."
Female Elf Warlock
Sometimes I won't be Gorvy though. Sometimes I'll be me. Which is way more fun anyway!
Female Elf Warlock
...until things get tough, then Dirgel is in charge.
Gorvy is not going to hide his vigilante shenanigans from his team-mates as that would be exhausting.
