Oh boy! Time to let Del's 7 charisma shine!!!

Unfortunately, each day Delixia finds herself in conversation with a performer against her will. With only a few short sentences, she unknowingly insults each of them just enough to end the conversation and regain the alone time she desires.

After four or so of these encounters, she returns to the party frustrated. "We're surrounded by freaks! These people, nah, creatures I should say, should go back to where they came from! Why is it we are assisting them instead of doing what we set out to do!?"

Crossing her arms in a huff, she stomps off to seek solace in silence.

Delixia examines the box and takes note of the false bottom and ingots stored within. Once discovered, she hands them all back to Thistle, her colorful pack mule, to carry until they can sell them off.

Delixia comments on the discussion of Pharasman inquisitors. "Not all follows of the Lady of Graves are so hard. Take me for instance, I am quite open minded and easy going."

Uhhhh, yeah. Me too! I'm unable to post in the gameplay thread, but Delixia rolled a 84 on attacking Thistle.

I'm headed to the beach until 7/15. I'll check in occasionally, but posting will be slower for the next week and a half.

Delixia is greatly dismayed that the spider has escaped. She thrashes about in the woods nearby for a few minutes trying to find it before harrumphing back to the party. When she returns, she frowns at the paler than normal monk.

She watches the party give her scrolls, cast spells and tap their wands on her silently. While she doesn't want her to die, she's using a fair bit of their resources. "Spider got away." is all she offers before going to look at the girl and items they found.

Delixia moves into flanking position with Smaranda. Once firmly positioned, she swings her morningstar into it's hide with an accompanying yell of "Yyeeaaaaaaa!"

Delixia does not have comforting words for strangers nor does she know how to properly greet someone without injuring feelings. She is wise enough however to recognize this and decides to keep her mouth shut and listen to their resident ghoul-cousin do the talking here.

She stands behind the dhampir with her arms folded, ready for troubles should it arise.

Delixia takes the cloak and and bunches up the end. She is moments away from shoving it down Thistle's throat to see if will shut him up when she decides against it. Groaning loudly, she turns away to make preparations for the night.

Delixia takes her watch, ready for whatever trouble may come.

Unfortunately however, the drag from the events during the day are weighing her down and she can't clear her mind properly. Distracted during most of the night, she replays the event from the day in her head trying to figure out what she could have done better.

Leading the group out of the cursed town, she talks to the group about the new belongings they acquired. "Interesting Mihaela, so you think it will better protect someone from all manner of dangers either physical or mental? Alright then, I suggest one of us that tends to be mixed in with the dangers on the front lines be using. Kisasi, Smaranda or myself seem like we could get the most out of it. Thoughts?"

Putting her hands on her hips she replies defiantly ”I most certainly did NOT call her a ghoul, I said her cousins! Did you see how she was healed by the negative energy that injured us all? Does that not heal undead?! “

Hrumphing, Delixia finishes what she was gathering and marches out the door sans apology. ”Let’s go, I’m getting hungry.”

Delixia turns to observe Smaranda's frozen expression, frowning. "Did she get bit by the undead paralysis?"

Snapping her fingers twice in front of Smaranda's face and looking for signs of life, she asks. "You in there? Hello?"

When she shows signs of life again, the inquisitor nods and says "Gather all of the interesting bits up, we can identify them on the road. Now that we've vanquished all of the evils from this place we can move on to our original task."

Delixia smacks Thistle on the back of the head. "Not everything requires a smartass quip, dwarf. If you are quite ready to start acting like an adult, there are serious injuries to deal with here."

Delixia is clearly frustrated from her injuries sustained during battle. Turning to Smaranda she expresses her frustration inappropriately. "Looks like your cousins really did a number on us."

Delixia waits until Smaranda establishes position with the priestess and then quickly moves around behind her to flank. Once in position he unleashes a wicked blow from her morninstar to the back of the priestesses head.

Delixia rushes forward and tries to determine if Smaranda has the situation under control or not as she advances to the nasty, foul female creature in the back of the room.

I'm going to assume that Smaranda put orange down, if she did not I will move up and attack that one. Otherwise I'll double move to red.

Delixia is hoofing it towards the entrance as fast as she can when she suddenly can't remember why she is running. What's going on here?

Putting on the brakes, she grabs the wall and pushes off in the opposite direction, reversing course. She shouts "I'm coming!" as she returns back to her previous position.

Delixia's hand starts to tremble and as she is suddenly overcome with fear. She turns away from the priestess and begins to run away as fast as she can, frightened by the undead creature.

Delixia who is neither quick nor agile somehow manages to avoid all three attacks from the nearby creature. She lashes back with her morningstar, declaring judgment against it and leveraging the combat advice from Mihaela. "It's time to return to the boneyard!" she exclaims as she throws everything she has into the attack.

Delixia growls in response at Thistle's comment. In the midst of battle he dare make comments about her body? I'm going to feed him to the ghoul myself! she thinks as she grinds her teeth in frustration.

Maybe it will eat his tongue and I won't have to hear that annoying furball's voice anymore!

Delixia finishes her previous statement "-UNDEAD ABOMINATIONS!". She groans from the stiff feeling in her muscles as she looks around. Though there is one in front of her, she recognizes Kisasi is in greater danger.

"Looks like your cousins really wanted you for dinner, Kisasi." Taking a 5' step backwards, she moves into flanking position with the dhampir and throws her mace towards her target. Green.

Delixia bangs her morningstar on her shield twice in anticipation when the ghoul charges at her. ”BRING IT YOU-“ starts to scream as it charges into her, her voice cuts off abrubtly and is replaced by a scream of pain before she stops moving as if frozen in place.

Alright look dicebot, we are in a fight now! I haven’t gotten to roll a dang dice here for weeks and now you are going to make me sit it out when we are fighting princess undead!? I can’t believe you’d do this to me! I thought we were more than friends!

It takes every ounce of patience from the inquisitor to not throttle the members of her party for suggesting that they sit down with this abomination. She closes her eyes and blows out a long breath while trying to pace her accelerated heart rate. "Fine. I'm not eating. If they make one ill comment or move, I'm sending them back to the boneyard."

She reluctantly accompanies her companions, weapons ready to smash.

"That female ghoul is a priest of Urgathoa, the Varisian goddess of physical excess, disease, and the undead. She is mostly worshiped by dark necromancers, the undead, and those wishing to become undead. Sometimes those who live gluttonous lifestyles make supplication to her, as do those suffering from a serious illness."

When she insinuates that the party is going to sit down and eat with them, Delixia can't take it anymore. With little restraint left she addresses her party with visible frustrations "You've got to kidding me! There is no way I'm sitting down with them and eating what is likely human flesh. Remind me again, why are we not exterminating this evil presence yet and we continue to engage in conversation?!"

Delixia grows frustrated that they are talking with the undead. She turns to Kisasi and tries to control her exasperation.

"It doesn't matter if they speak. They are evil and they must be dealt with. Come, let us end these creatures before they hurt more innocents!

Delixia inform the part that the magical aura is strong and there is only one item being detected as magical. The aura is located just to the left of the entryway behind the wooden door of the church.

"We're going in, everyone ready?" Prebuff if you like, but Delixia intends to enter.

When everyone is ready, she will lead the group in, weapon in hand. If she is warned of trouble by a companion, she will cast protection from evil on herself before going in.

Delixia nods several times before responding. "I agree. Let me search for magical auras."

Delixia studies her surroundings and uses detect magic as she moves around trying to pinpoint anything peculiar or out of the ordinary. If there is no sign of anything, she suggests they check out the other buildings starting with the general store.

Finally realizing what is happening, Delixia turns towards the exit and moves as quickly as she can out of the room with the others. She shouts "GO!

Delixia misses the hidden floorboard, but luckily Thistle and Smaranda caught sight of it. When the room begins to shudder she grabs a hold of the wall and turns around to face everyone. "What's that?!" she yells as she tries to identify the source. "Is the building coming down? Should we get out?"

Do you mean to say the building we are in is falling apart/shaking or the room in front of us sank into the ground?

Delixia grunts softly ask she is yanked back by Kisasi. She opens her mouth to speak when she hears the hiss and scurry on the floor. She studies the creature the best she can, trying to get a good luck at it. [smaller]"What was that?" she whispers.

Weapon at the ready she searches for signs of whatever that was and grinds her teeth. [b]"Most certainly. We are not along, be at your ready!"[b/] she says pressing forward.

Delixia studies the area for interesting items and traps Taking 20+9=29 and finding nothing of interest casts shield of faith on herself, leading the way forward. AC now 22 for 4 minutes.

While traveling on the road, Delixia prefers to keep her spoken words to a minimum. She lets Kisasi and Thistle handle all of the talking and is thankful for the moments of rare silence held in between. It's tough to keep your guard up while traveling all day, but she does her best to stay vigilant throughout the trip. One never knows of the trouble waiting around the next bend.

When nightfall comes, she let's Kisasi and Smaranda take the first two shifts and volunteers for the third.

Delixia asks around about the trip to Lepidstadt on her walk and picks up a few pieces of information. Thistle apparently already knows that and more.

When confronted with the discussion around how they should get there, Delixia panics internally as she waits for the mention of using those dreadful horses. "We should get walking, it's a long trip."

I'm assuming if we have a heavy iron chest that we have wagon of some kind we're pulling behind a creature but the rest of us are walking? Do we have access to horses?
