Risen Fate, several large cracks appear in the ceiling. A large groan comes from the ceiling as it's degradated structure tries to hold up a few tons of concrete ceiling. Just about anything might send it crashing down.

You hit Death Mask once again in the jaw. He staggers backwards just as Timeline appears firing his wrist laser! Unfortunately the shot goes wide. Takes a Bruise.

I not be gettin' paid enuff fer dis. I will come for you again, voodoo man. Death Mask throws a small pellet at the ground and smoke fills the room! Total visual Concealment. Cannot attack targets in the cloud unless you have some other sense to pinpoint them. Particularly accurate senses (see the Extra) combined with a successful Perception check would allow targeting but the target receives a +5 to AC vs. such attacks.

MLK Jr. you spend this round and last round breaking the SHRU and soldiers out of the ice. They appear to be in early stages of hypothermia but otherwise unharmed. (Except for poor Charlie who has taken a bullet to the knee.)

Risen Fate:
Your punch connects with the villain's jaw, knocking a tooth loose. Death mask is looking about how you feel at the moment. Brathing heavily, Death Mask attempts a vicious jab with his combat knife.
Power Attack w/ Combat Knife: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 Vs. 13

As his attack lands, his other fist comes around in an attempt to box your ears! As his crit bonus, he's making you save vs. an Affliction effect, DC 10 Fort, in addition to your normal DC 21 Toughness save from damage.

Risen Fate:
You bend Fate itself like putty, arcing your second hit to impact next to the first causing teh bone spur to stick out further. Another fail by 2 degrees. Bruise taken.

The villain looks at his new wound. That con't be good. You know how much a good doc costs? This'll take forever to heal, mon.

He stabs at you with a vengeance. Power Attack w/Combat Knife: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 Vs. DC 13 ...and he misses your heart by inches.

Risen Fate:
...Death Mask's grin turns into a grimace as a bone splinter pokes through his chest. Failed by 2. Bruise taken

Risen Fate:
Death mask is surprised as your offensive technique connects solidly...but not solidly enough. In his juiced up state, he barely feels anything.

Risen Fate:
A particularly heavy chunk of wall falls forward leaving a gaping hole in the side of the museum and connects solidly with Death Mask. The villain stumbles but isn't down yet. Bruise

Risen Fate, you can feel the last traces of the toxin dissipate as you begin to grin uncontrollably. No save, just fluff.

I always like to see de people smile in dere last moments.

Death Mask eyes you warily. What voodoo you be doin', mon? Dat ain't good fer ya health.

A scream splits the night air. Mayor?! That wall just collapsed...AHHH! your arms! I-I mean they'll be fine, they'll be fine. Help! Someone help me! The mayor is pinned under some rubble! The voice is coming from outside the wall that you just willed to hit Death Mask. BBE registered, Hero point awarded

His weaken(stamina) poison has been countered.


Risen Fate:
You blink out of existence but Death mask is quicker. He stabs you in the side and you feel the toxin flowing through your veins. Take a Bruise. His blade is no longer coated. Seems to be a one-use effect, at least until he can reapply it.

He smiles with glee and you notice a small nick on his arm. a purple/green smear covers the wound. He must've sliced himself when he oulled it on you. He reacts strangely to the normally deadly toxin, and his skin becomes visibly tougher. This is actually a previous BBE granting him a one scene bonus vs. physical toughness. With all the updates I had forgotten, sry.

The toxin feels more potent likely due to it's non-aerosolized form. Your side goes numb instantly (-6 Stamina Score: DC is 16) and you can feel it crawling up one side. (Take a Bruise and you are Staggered until you can recover. DC 21)

You detect no amount of remorse from this monster, nor do you detect any amount of dishonesty in his statement. Hero Point awarded for complication. better late than never.

Death Mask's opposed Dodge: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 He evades your grab attack easily. He appears to be more in his element now in hand to hand combat.

The villain lunges with his dagger again.

Just a Toughness save this time. DC 21

FYI: In addition to normal recovery, you can spend a full-round action once per combat to remove your worst condition (Staggered in this case).

Staggered: A staggered character is dazed and hindered.

Dazed: A dazed character is limited to free actions and a single standard action per turn, although the character may use that action to perform a move, as usual. Stunned supersedes dazed.

Hindered: A hindered character moves at half normal speed (–1 speed rank). Immobile supersedes hindered.

Risen Fate:
The preacariously perched pterodactyl skeleton (still perched at the top of the corner column) falls onto Death Mask who is unaware of the attack. The beak strikes death Mask in the back of the head drawing blood and staggering the villain.

You don't know who you be dealing with, mon. His face changes as he speaks, cheekbones widening, skin coloration changing until his face looks like it was stitched together, a too large grin showing where his mouth should be. He lunges with the dagger he had until this point managed to hide, a green and purple paste smeared along the edge.

I'm gunna gut ya like I gutted that preeetty red-head. He grins wickedly at you. You realize you haven't seen Marrisa since you left for the basement. The last time you heard her, she had called you about the security guards death...

Risen Fate, need to make a Toughness save and two Fort saves. The Fort saves are only if you take damage from the knife, FYI

Emit/Joe:
Emit, you and Martin Luther King Jr. teleport into the vault!...only to find the vault door closing!

The vault door closes and the tumblers fall into place locking you in! Not, lol

Inside the vault you can see a pedestal and velvet pillow that is conspicuously empty. There are a number of smaller vault doors lining the inside of the vault. None of them are open.

Baker:
On the outer vault camera you see a figure in a security guard uniform exit the vault and then close it behind him. He is carrying a bulging satchel and quickly makes his way to the north exit (into the Final Exhibit area).
