Male Human Cleric 7

The young human watches on and does not move. He does speak under his breath, Not our business, let's head to find Hawkins. ..

He keeps his eyes down a little, peasants knew not to become involved with the authorities to avoid a beating and Adriel NEVER got involved in anything that there was no upside to interfering with.

I have to remember 'Chaotic Neutral' because Adriel doesn't give a crap about people he doesn't know. BALDWIN however, knows as a Player, I can't resist a fight

Adriel Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
I won't give Thrasher a check, he would be flying nearby to not give the game away.

Male Human Cleric 7

Adriel touches the hat an imagines an image of a young man in his early twenties.
He wears rough leathers with no sleeves, the scimitar at his hip takes on the appearance of a Machete.
Dockworker. A good looking one, but still a dockworker.

Wait for me, I'm comin'
He found himself loathing to speak like an uneducated pperson, but he manages and catches up to 'Nick'
What we doin, Da?

Str Ranger here. Noting the Large number of Full casters, I submit Deacon.

He's an arcane duelist bard, who's not afraid of melee. He has a background in his profile and is a quintessential dashing swordsman (But with a Nodachi)

His campaign feat is Optimistic Gambler from Second Darkness but I hope he is still considered because the whole gambler thing is gonna be a big roleplay facet of his char.
The man can't hang on to coin.

Question? I'd like to take Martial Weapon Prof: Nodachi. Will you allow that? It is a Martial Eastern Weapon.

If not I'll take it for Falchion, but let me know cause as of now my Char sheet says Nodachi.

Funnily enough, I built Deacon for a CoT game that I never got picked for.

He's a Melee focused (Arcane Duelist) which hopefully lines up with the group Mechanically as well as fluff. (I'm sure the rogues would like Inspire Courage)

I live in Queensland Australia so that's GMT +10. I LIVE on my computer both at work and home so can post multiple times, day or night every day (I like a fast posting game)

Hoping I make the cut.
Still 3rd level, but I'll take him back.

Sorry guys. Made it into 2 new PBP's and so now 9 is all I can handle. cheers.

Deacon awaits his fate, sword drawn and a battle song on his lips. Perhaps, finally he will get the chance to elevate heroes to gods, side by side, sword swinging and spells flying, urging, driving our heroes onward to greater and greater glory. He had awaited a long time for this. He would ensure that their names and praises would be told for a thousand years...

Str Ranger here. An alternative to my Inquisitor is Deacon, a bard (Arcane Duelist) level 3 but only has level 2 wealth at the moment.

He's in the stolen lands to record the forging of the new kingdom in song. He'd love a true hero to follow around and record the adventures of.

Not sure if you have checked but I can dump Deacon's Optimistic Gambler trait for Westcrown Firebrand if the second darkness trait is not allowed.

Still here

1. Why are you in Westcrown? I was born here. I love this town. Sure the the place is a little stifling, but there's always a chance for fun IF you know where to look.

2. Given a chance would you hurl down the ruling houses and take their place? Or create a new form of government? *I* wouldn't do anything. But if there's a group who want to cause trouble and reshape Westcrown like that, I'd love to be there to assist. The best tales are told from first hand and something like that would be truly epic.

3. What will you be able to contribute to the group? Besides good looks and a shoulder to cry on (ladies), I bring Sword and Spell and skills. There's not much I don't have at least some ability in, but I specialize in team combat. I have always had an uncanny knack for rousing tales and shouted instruction in a fight Inspire Courage, more than a few of my friends have noted how much better a fight goes when I'm around.

4. How do you expect the character to develop roleplay wise? Mechanically? At the moment, I'm working hard to perfect my swordplay, I picked up a couple of things from this Drunken Monk who used to frequent the Bawdy House I grew up in. So I'm working on My Crane Style at the moment. Once I throw out a couple of Buffing Spells and my perform is up I'm a force to be reckoned with (Though I'll happily be flanking the enemies blind side :)
As for roleplay, I'm here to compose ballads on great events and people. I may have to bide my time upon the release of such great works, but once I have sufficient reknown and power MY songs will be sung throughout every Tavern, Bar, Streetcorner, Lordly court and Whorehouse this continent has to offer! I'm not particularly fussy about who I work with, Tales of Villans and Scoundrals are every bit as interesting as one about heroes.

5. I'm a Hellknight about to lay down some police brutality down on you. What do you say to stop me from breaking off my spiked greaved boot in your butt?
Oh,Sorry, sir. I didn't mean to ignore you, but I was in a rather heated argument with my Large, Burly friend here, who had the nerve to say that fine suit of plate you wear was far too large and that a REAL man wouldn't struggle to bear his own armored weight when he walked. I believe there was also something about your mother and a certain Devil, but I dare not repeat such Blasphemy. Walks around to provide a flank

Sorry this took so long.

Basically Deacon loves adventure for the sake of it and is not above making trouble so long as the events are noteworthy. He'd be happy to join the Party and compose a song or two about thier exploits (particularly if one of them seems destined for greatness)

Mechanically he's a buffer/secondary melee. Looking to complete the Crane Style of Fighting and maybe grab the Arcane Bloodline via eldritch Heritage.

Male Human Cleric 7

You just gave me an awesome idea.

Male Human Cleric 7

Seeing the 3 bound men, once an observer can draw their eyes from the sheer size of the immense, muscular one,one would notice that it is the smallest of the 3 whom is given the widest birth by the guards. Set apart from the other two, the small man is stripped to the waist, with not merely his wrists tied, like the other two, but with hessian bags covering his fingers and a gag in his mouth. His torso sports bold black tattoos and it is hard to tell but perhaps there is one along his jawline running down his neck. The most prominent though is the stylized crow or raven tattoo across his chest. He is very lean, one can pick out the individual striations in his muscles but of a slight build, this one doesn't have the look of a warrior. There is however and intensity in those too green eyes that appears to unsettle his would be captors.

Kressel seems to be the only one unaffected. I bet you wish you accepted my invitation now wizard. Pity, we could have used a Mage with a handsome face. But maybe I'll have some fun with you yet...

Male Human Cleric 7

No worries. Char sheet updated. Ready whenever you wish to bring me in.

Male Human Cleric 7

I do have a question, i asked in the recruitment forum and never got a reply.

Scribe scroll for my non combat feat? Ok?
Can I take the Tattooed Sorcerer Archetype?

Male Human Cleric 7

Hello,

And thanks for the oppurtunity.
Deacon is a wanderer by circumstance, so there's no reason he couldn't be a prisoner...

I'm fine with the Shadow Bloodline.

Gold is either average or rolled.

I'm also a big fan of Deacon, seems very cool.

Sweet. I'd keep the plot hooks i posted. Scribe Scroll would be my extra non- combat feat. Given his background it would make sense he had it.

Would you allow Deacon to have the Tattoed Sorcerer Archetype?
(That's where the Arcane tatts come from- mummy played up on his chelish 'father' hmmm?)

If the group finds itself short on arcane might, I am here.

See avatar for background.

Hooks: What do the arcane runes that appear on my Skin when I cast mean?

What does a Man do when his more capable father tries to take him back?

Hi.

I wanna come up with a Melee themed Character who shrugs off magic like it was nothing.

I'm feeling a Dwarf Inquisitor.

Dwarves get
+2 Con, Wis ( the main saves)
+2 vs Magic (plus a feat which bumps it to +4. Can't remember the name if somone can remind me?)

Inquisitor gets-
Stalwart!
Good Fort and Will saves
Judhmnet of Purity

And with a good divine list of spells should buff up well.

Melee is his thing.

Unsure about other feats (2 handimg and Intimidation)
Or Deity/Domaim

AZ.

Who are you firm on keeping? Are you dropping out to dm or will be running a dmpc?
I only ask so I may prep an alt char to better suit group composition.
As far as I know Deacon is the only full arcane caster submitted (but that didn't help last game recruitment) and some groups chaff at a sorc limited spell selection, so I am happy to make a wizard.

Male Human Cleric 7

Well looks like you guys need a couple of players. I am keen if we wanna keep this going. Check Deacon's profile. I' ll readup on what's posted so far.

Also, with GM approval I'd like to take the Seeker archetype from the SRD. No biggie if can't do it.

Woot! I'm the only submitted arcane caster!

Deacon is finished by the way.
Build is fluid so if he makes it and when group is sorted, spell suggestions are welcome (running with color spray and enlarge person atm.)

What hp method we using? Roll straight up or max at first level?

Deacons fluff is done, slowly rewriting the crunch over my cut/paste from another ofy chars.

Basically he'd fill your wizardy type role as best a sorcerer can, he'll use the human favored class option for extra spells knownso despite being a sorcerer he'll have a big range and is smart enough for 5 skills per level to handle the arcane/planes etc knpwledges.

He'll mostly focus on Battle control and debuffing and the extrafavored will cover utility spells. I'll take careful consideration of group needs as we level (if I make the cut).

Still editing. Gonna be an Arcane Bloodline Sorcerer, with wizard issues. Only ability scores correct atm.
