Hello everyone!

I have created a neat little tool to help Crafters and Refiners with their jobs. The tool was built in excel and needs to either be downloaded to a desktop version of excel, or viewed in a browser in Excel Online (recommended).

This tool is a really simple filter that allows you to choose a recipe and find out exactly what components you need, how many, how long it will take to craft (base), and some other info.

Also, if you found materials and want to know what you can craft with them, use this tool to reverse engineer the recipes you will need (or find out which friend to give the mats to!)

Please post here with any feedback or questions.

Well, this was a much bigger project than I had originally anticipated, but I think it was well worth it.

Please feel free to view and download the PDF here. (This article is from the PFO wiki, however, most people cannot view it there without significant hardship. That is why I have PDF'd it.)

I will also politely request that Nihimon link the file in the Public Shared Folder so that everyone can view/share.

Also, please share your comments and feedback here.

Happy (Keyword) Match-Making!

Please be aware that there is a major issue occurring on the PFO.pathfinderwiki.com that is preventing users who are NOT logged from seeing updated versions of the articles and page .

Mark Moreland (the main Admin for the site) is looking in to the issue.

In the meantime, there are two solutions (read: workarounds) to enable current content to be viewable.

1. Create a User Account on the wiki. Users who are logged in are not experiencing any of the above issues.

2. When viewing a page while NOT logged on as a User, click the View History tab at the top of the page. Then select the most current version from the list (should be on the top of the list).

We do apologize for the inconvenience and assure you that we are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Please contact me, Nihimon, or Mark Moreland for more information.

The 'Controls' section of the Pathfinder Wiki is now completed. It includes a section on how to customize the Keybinds.

Please feel free to point new players (or anyone else with questions) in that direction.

Next up: Keywords

;)

Special thanks to Nihimon, NytCrawlr, and Valkenr for their help.

Wondering where to spend that first, free 1,000 xp? The following is an all-around good build that will help you maximize your efficiency for the first few hours in PFO. You can check the list out here in the 'Starting XP' tab. This build requires no Achievements, so you can purchase it within the first few minutes of logging in.

Here are a few notes:

1. Mage or Scholar Armour feat? "I don't want to play a Wizard," you say. Yes, but those Peasant's Clothes you are wearing have the Keyword 'Clothing', which will match with these feats and grant bonuses that will make the first few hours much easier. For 8xp (4.8 minutes to earn), you really cannot go wrong.

1a. With Mage you will gain:
Physical Resistance +5, HP +25, Power +40, Fort Def +1, Reflex Def +2, Will Def +2, as well as a few other perks.

1b. With Scholar you will gain:
Speed +1%, Arcana/ Dungeoneering/ Geography/ History/ Local/ Nature/ Planes/ Survival +4 each, HP +25, Power +40, Fort Def +1, Reflex Def +1, Will Def +3, as well as a few other perks.

2. Heavy Melee Attack Bonus Feat. Again, even if you intend to play a Wizard, this feat will help with that gorgeous club you will be holding for the next few hours. +4 Bonus with Heavy Melee weapons for 36xp (21.6 minutes).

3. You have enough XP for one (1) armour OR weapon proficiency, and one (1) implement proficiency. I recommend getting an implement proficiency because that will also open up the ability to learn a Utility Feat.

4. Why no Attack Feats? Well, because you only have so much xp to spend at first, and you already know all the basic attacks to go with any weapon you find.

Conclusion: Yes, you will be spending xp on feats that you won't be using for very long, and may never use them ever again! If you are only interested in building the perfect PVP warrior in the fastest time possible, these tips are not for you. If, however, you are alright with a character who will be 26.4 minutes behind in training time, try this build!
