Dot. Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Undead revisited and the bestiary, iirc in the bestiary it tells you that the creature you turn loses a lot but keeps natural abilities like reach for a "faceless stalker"

Look through the Fortress of the Nail scenario for some other goodies like

Creature:
Centaur with class levels iirc.

Also for fun just have some signifera from the gates and some armingers or full hell knights roaming about. Gates can make for a messy encounter with their ability to summon devils as a class ability.

I've just wrapped up running book 1 yesterday, and I'll agree with quite a few of the posters here, there needs to be a cleric/paladin to ease the pain of the undead you run across throughout the adventure.

Suggestions for a cleric would be Healing/Death Domain Pharasma Cleric, that later might go into Envoy of Balance from the Champions of Balance Companion guide that just recently came out. It's a good read and powerful prestige that counter balances the Versatile Channeler Feat.

On the other side of the hill you got the Vanilla Paladin or even the Undead Scourge to run amok through some of the creatures you encounter.

I can also recommend the Kinslayer archetype for the Dhamphirs for Inquisitor for Carrion Crown as well, only if you GM will allow Dhamphir as a playable race.

Dhampir in my game:
He is a Undead Scourge Paladin and Kinslayer Inquisitor cross-class. His saves are already in the teens with his build.

See this avatar.

This is Duncan a level 6 Inquisitor of ANGRADD with the Anger Inquisition.

He has a ton of skills.
He can use Bane and RAGE at the same time.

I am gonna rebuild him as a WARPRIEST.

Different class but ams far as I see it will not be mass capable a strike combatant.

He will have The War and Law Blessings.
The extra feats? Dunno. Heavy armor prof at least. Maybe throw in cleave.

The warpriest looks more tanky than striker.

Just to point out Warpriest is already proficient with Heavy Armor

I apologize if this has been brought up before, but consider adding the Aura ability to the warpriest. Additionally, it might be helpful if warpriest levels counted as fighter (or fighter -3) for the purposes of Greater Weapon Focus and Weapon Specialization.

I second the motion for the fighter counted levels for weapon specialization and Greater Weapon Focus. I'd gladly do the fighter -3.

Purchase a Clear Spindle and put in your wayfinder. Protection from evil all the time.

So as a Mysterious Stranger, how do you deal with the misfires?
You can't. Which is why you're much better off playing a pistolero or a musket master, not a mysterious stranger.

Check out the 5th level ability, negates missfires up to charisma modifer. Though that can be wasted rather quickly with 8 shots a round.

Cool so y'all want to be something that is mentioned not to be right under the reply to post button. Looks like staff needs to be involved. I mean a 1 star gm, really? Don't bash newish players you just make yourself look bad for your entire lodge. On a sidenote I read the additional resources. It came up as a blank on any info regarding the quarry I was searching for and there were no other forums about a war rhinoceros.

So yea as a "noob" of course I'd like to ask if the animal companion was allowed for flavor of character concept since I have the other 2 references needed for it.

Dark Archive 3/5

So I might be misunderstanding, yay or nah on the war rhino?

Youll have to excuse my lack of awakeness on the matter of responses.

Dark Archive 3/5

I am playing a half orc druid.

I find your response a bit rude as well.

I looked through the additional resources for Orcs of Golarion and did not find anything saying I could not take the War Rhinoceros as my animal companion.
In the book the last line states, "An orc can take a war rhinoeceros as an animal companion."
I was curious if it was legal in PFS.

I have read the description for this trait, its from Qadira, Gateway to the East p. 9.

You have been trained in the javelin and the spear, and know how to make the best use of your momentum. Whenever you move at least 10 feet before making an attack with a thrown weapon, you add 10 feet to the range increment of the weapon thrown. You can only gain this benefit once per round.

Is the trait valid for all thrown weapons are just the two items mentioned in the description? And the net also reads its maximum range is 10 feet. Would it increase the range increment to 20 feet for the traits purposes?
