I didn't realise you were waiting for me, couldn't see at any point to post.

I admit I've also not been too enthused in the game so I'm going to bow out and let someone else take my spot. Been a great group.

Davor follows Kriger, not wanting him to dissappear off by himself and keeps his sword up as he heads towards him.

movement is 30ft due to the armour being mithral and lighter than normal breastplate, should b able to reach him in a double move.

Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

Assuming that's enough to know they're creature type (fey or ect)

Davor, as a swift action banes his weapon against Humanoid: Gnomes before marching past the dead bodies, provoking an AoO as Davor arrives at P12 before Davor swings his blade at the creature (number 4) with great strength.

attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24

damage: 2d6 + 16 + 2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 16 + (1, 3) = 28

if a fail on the knowledge, remove the extra 2d6. Plus the bane should cut through all DR.

it's not up to day, I've been slacking on the character a bit and lost the info of what he has and what he doesn't have. Also I thought someone succeeded on the knowledge check for what these things are? I ask and Davor asks because then I have a legitimate reason for knowing what they are to bane my weapon against them.

Revised stats: 6th level, AC 21, 56/56 hp.Higher AC means he misses doesn't it?

Davor takes a 5ft step towards the Spriggin and Power Attacks with his sword.

attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

crit threat: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

damage: 2d6 + 16 ⇒ (5, 4) + 16 = 25

if crit add: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 4) + 10 = 16 -3 if my judgement isn't doubled on a crit

Davor looks over this place with a disturbed look as there appears to have been no obvious form of violent. He'll check the bedrooms to see if clothing was packed.
"This doesn't look like a hurry. People knock over or break things in a hurry." Davor focuses on seeing if any momentos around the house seem missing or mis-placed.

"Sounds like the best idea, but I cannot think of what might have happened to this city. What do we know about it?" he asks curiously as Davor seems concerned about these strange goings on.

I added a couple points to his UMD skill this level so that he has an 80% chance (which will go up to 90% after the first successful use), and should be able to avoid mishaps entirely (since he can't 'fail by 10'). He can still roll a 1 and make the wand un-usable for a day, but that's not as dire as hitting another party member with a lightning bolt, or blasting himself in the face!

depending on the wands a few of us might be able to sue the, it depends. I think if someone has a high Cha and skill in UMD they could have the ones none of us can activate.

confused what level we are, though we only started part 2 not too long ago, unless going after the trolls has forced the DM's hand :p.

"This is troubling if there is somehting more foul that simply not replying to messangers." Davor paces for a moment in curiosity. "I am interested in investigating what has happened there. It seems odd that a loyal swordlord would not respond to these messages so I see only two conclusions. Either they have overthrown their leader and the town has decided not to dignify Brevoy with a response or maybe more of these...odd deity woreshipping trolls have entered and destroyed the city. They were powerful trolls indeed."

Davor will continue to keep the peace as it seems no one wishes to start any problems in the barony. Davor continues his research on the idol still curious about this and then goes through all his knowledges.

taking a 20 on knowledge Arcana, Dungeoneering, Nature, Planes and religion with a +7 bonus.

I'd say just sit down and take 20 on spellcraft. No hurry so we can spend all day looking at the items giving you the max score which'll idenitfy almost anything.

I agree with your master, Ember. I once heard of a backwards town who murdered the village alchemist because they thought he caused a plague to one of his neighbors, but it was instead just a rash the old woman caught. People are easily scared, however if your master reveals you to the population and explains you mean no harm I'm sure he'll allow you to fly around.

I don't beleieve I mentioned picking up the greatsword. Also I just expressed my interest in the other items. If anyone has worse AC than me or could benefit much more from the items I'm willing to let them have that.

That's why my cleric has it in my RP campaign. Plus it's considered a full night's rest for casters so after only 2 hours sleep they get to pray/prepare spells for an hour and then done. Only out of it for 3 hours.

I'm interested in the mithral breastplate, ring of prot, cloak of resistance and amulet of natural armour. The breastplate I'm most interested and willing to forgo the others. Just saying what ones I'm interested in and certainly not calling dibs or wanting to start a treasure argument. Oh, and what kind of gem is the eleental gem? Fire, earth or one of the others?

Davor? What is your input on the half + 1 hp's/level?

Personally I leave it up to the player to decideby level 2 to either take the average (which is the best if you want to keep your hitpoints constant) or take the risk at rolls, however if someone rolls badly twice, which Markofbane's character, Krenn did I, as a DM, allowed a re-roll because the main fighter running around with two levels of rolling minimal hp is pretty brutal and unfair just because the dice bit him in the ass.

all the HP Davor has now I believed I rolled, but will have to check back through posts to make sure.

You can get that +1 from favoured classs, unlesss you put that into skill points or some other bonus, like Davor here has been putting that into +1/2 intimidation & Identify to every two levels he'll get better and better than anyone else at identifying beasts and intimidating, even though he has a terrible Charisma.

It's up to the DM, that's what I did in the situation where someone rolled really low on their hp twice in a row (a natural 1 both times) to re-roll their last one, but again that's the DM's decision and not mine, this is just a suggestion.

Do any of you have objections to me keeping hold of it?" he asks as he is still curious about the statue even though he has never seen it before he finds this whole thing far too odd. "Anyone very good at spellcraft? I know some, but someone more knowledgeable would be better to identify these items."

"This is strange. It appears like a alter to some kind of nature deity, but with all this treasure it is more like a tribute than an offering." Davor looks at the items and back to the group in curiosity. "These trolls are acting quite different than normal as you said. This is not the way the normally act and I have never heard of them woreship anything besides their bellies. Even in the rarest cases of cults, the troll it kept as some kind of pet and even then it's to a demon lord, not a spirit of nature." Davor will pick up the statuette and analyse it closely under detect magic, not understanding why these rolls were acting so strangely.

He looks over everyone.
"Now I have seen you fight, I am not surprised you have run the bandits off, for they must've been powerful indeed to have lasted long against you." he says as he takes his blade and then severs the head of the troll they chased into this cave to fight. "Our gods were with us, but who knows if they shall be in our next battle?"

shame no one else could speak Orc to confront Davor on his faith lol.

You can check mine as I have copied his homebrewed rules, however with one single exception.

I added wands to the list of items that you can craft without paying 100% for it. Wands, potions and scrolls are all limited use items that are set at their base, unless you make the wand have a more powerful CL to it, but even then they're basic.

the 100% rule is because you can potentially break the game by syphoning money out of your kingdom with little to no unrest and then create so much magical gear you'll be equipped as if you were levle 10 adventures at level 4 :p Where as wands, potions and scrolls don't really make a group anymore powerful.

When looking for magical items for sale, if the cost of a given item is less than 10% of the cities base value, a roll is not required to find one.

The Kingdom-City Ratio House Rule (thanks Nethys)

The number of cities a kingdom can support is based off its size. A kingdom may have one city for every 5 size (min. 1). A kingdom of size 9 or less may only support one city. A kingdom of size 10-14 may have two cities. A kingdom of size 15-19 may have three cities, and so on.

But those are houserules for the GM to look over, I suggest looking a this actual game to see how effectively they do the kingdom building and there's always the other option where the building is done in the background (as per refered in the AP).

Davor assists with burning the dead bodies and then puts his sword away before putting his hands together, bowing his head and saying something in his native language.

Lord in Iron, I thank you for guiding my blade in this battle and keeping my armour strong and clean in this battle. Great Gorum, the first half-orc and greatest of my kind I give you thanks. May my blade continue to fight off rust and my armour never dim.

Grant me an honour to continue my war against beasts as great and perhaps, even more powerful as these.

Davor looks back to the group, looking at himself and seeing his serious wounds.
"I could use some bandaging..." he trails off, seeing that everyone else looks badly hurt.

New abilities:
Bane: Gives my weapon the bane quality to any enemy type I wish.
Discern Lies: Able to discern lies at will.
Judgements: Justice +2, protection +2, purity +2, Resiliancy 2

"Die foul monster, DIE!" Davore screams as he focuses his stength into his sword swing.

PA attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 defiantly a total miss unless someone hasdone something to lower the troll's AC but a huge amount.
