Dau holds the door open for Pandi and Theon. She smiles at Arista. "Thank you for everything, Arista. We'll see you later."
She closes the door behind her and follows after the other two.

Dau finishes her breakfast. "Pandi, I'll go get changed and gather up our stuff."
Dau serves herself some food, content to have tea with her breakfast.
Dau smiles at Celine. "Good morning."
Fixing her tea, she nods politely at the elf. "Good morning."
Dau nods, following Arista into the kitchen.
"Sounds interesting. I've never had it," Dau says. "Let's try that. Do you want to wake up the other two?"
Dau looks confused for a moment. "Valanian toast?"
Dau shrugs. "What do you have?"
Dau is the only one awake when Arista walks into the living room. "Good morning."
Dau nods. "We've got everything."
Dau smiles. "Yes, thank you." She gets up from the table and goes into the living room with Pandi.
"I'll let Pandi take the couch," Dau says, finishing her tea. "I don't want to wake up to anything...untoward."
Dau fixes her tea and slowly sips on it.
"Thank you very much," Dau says.
"It's very nice to meet all of you," Dau says.
"I'm Dau," the gillwoman answers. "I live with Pandi at the lighthouse and work with the town guard during the day."
Dau comes back into the kitchen in her warm nightwear. "Oh, you've got more guests."
"Oh, I'll take some tea," Dau says, heading off to get changed.
"I'll go get changed," Dau says. "Do you need any help afterward, Arista?"
Dau returns with her and Pandi's sleepwear. "I'm back. Sorry that it took so long. It's really cold so I couldn't swim over."
"I'll be back in a bit," Dau says, heading back to the lighthouse.
"I can go get our things," Dau offers as she finishes with the dishes.
"I'm fine with it."
"Pandi and I will help with all the dishes before we go back home," Dau says, looking outside. "The weather's a lot better now."
"It's the least I can do to thank you for letting us use your house and offering to feed us," Dau says. "It's nice that Pandi is getting along well with your brother. She's been a lot less grumpier since meeting him."
Dau comes back into the kitchen. "I feel like a third wheel in there, so is there anything I can do to help you two?"
"Everything seems to be well," Dau answers before anyone else. "I'm more comfortable cooking fish, myself."
"I'll be okay here," Dau says. "Pandi should be back soon anyway."
Dau opens the door. "I'm just drying my hair."
Just a straggler Gashka and the others picked up on their voyage to Valwick.
"Sorry," Dau says. starting to wash the dishes. "I tend to be very proper with people I don't know well."
"Do you need some help cleaning up, Miss Arista?" Dau offers.
"Not at all," Dau says. "We might have to wait for the weather to get a little better before we worry about the pipes. And I'd rather not go around town while it's this miserable."
Dau looks to Arista. "I don't mind being at the lighthouse. It's quite suitable for me, being near water. Though it is nice to get out and visit with others."
Dau shakes her head. "No, thank you. I'm alright for now." |
