@ DM Some questions regarding posting and acting order... Some DMs have everyone post (when they can) and then resolve according to the order. Others want posting and resolution in order. 1. Do you want us posting in order or by the round or something different? 2. We are near the end of the round, but I'm not sure who has gone or where we are.
No complaint, everyone has things they need to do in life other than a game. Answering this will let me know so that I can chime in when I'm supposed to and not worry about it otherwise. Thanks in advance.

Certainly, a couple of hours sounds right. Next, Darius turns to Silas Be sure to have someone keep an eye on our prisoners, Silas. If you are wanting us to make arrangements to do shiftwork watching them, best speak up now. I'll always do my share. With that he turns to follow Augustus toward the scrap yard.

I might just tag along there, Augustus. That yard looks interesting and I'm pretty good with my hands and putting things together. I picked me up a lil alchemy too. ooc for Silas and anyone who wants to read: Depending upon how far this goes, Darius may take a level or two of alchemist. While tagging along with Agustus, Darius will be looking around for items and being followed/watched. A number of perception rolls in case they are needed...
perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 A number of craft alchemy checks to look for stuff useful for making gunpowder etc. alchemy 1d20+6 alchemy 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 alchemy 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 alchemy 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 alchemy 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

I say it is best we stick near to each other while here. I don't think it would be good for us to be caught apart and I just have a bad feeling about this whole thing. Finally, Darius turns to Silas and speaks further Is there a jail or prison of some sort here? I'm just trying to figure out exactly what we plan to do with these gnolls while we catch some rest. Keeping them chained up might not be too good if these townsfolk actually trade with the local tribes any.

Certainly Augustus, go ahead and look at his book. I figure we will split the gold. Anyone care for any of these other items? With that, Darius displays the items he just took from the corpse. The alchemist had fifty gold, bandolier with worthless formulae. A formulae book, backpack, dagger, flask of alchemist fire, one flask of acid, a tanglefoot bag, a sunrod, a waterskin and some dried meat.

Mind if I take that then in the meantime? It is always good to have an extra gun. Perhaps a powderhorn for it too? Note: I miscounted the number of characters grabbing muskets and thought five had already taken them rather than four. With that, Darius also makes a point to go after something he overlooked and searches the alchemist's corpse in hopes of finding some form of alchemy kit and formula book.

Darius looks for the assorted powderhorns and bullets to go with his companions guns. He also searches for alchemical cartridges if there are any. He then proceeds to hand his finds, if any, over to his companions. Well, I'll be happy to collect that 2,000 gold soon enough. He also takes the time ot collect the swords and spears, hoping he and his friends can add every copper possible on top of the promised gold. As Grillik wanders ahead, Darius decides to question the remaining gnolls. In gnoll, of course DBBdd%%$d!!! GF%%$RRR FF$!! GGF!!! GGF!!!
While talking, Darius carefully fingers his whip as if to make use of it on his captives.

Yes, I both know that I provoke an attack of opportunity and that it is resolved first but I see how my wording in both my action description and the spoiler may not have been explicit enough to make it known that I knew the Attack of Opportunity (AoO) goes first as opposed to merely happening. As is, I believe the open manner in which I described Darius' actions will allow our DM to easily "script" the results of Darius' roll (disarm) and those of the gnoll (AoO and possible damage). But, a sincere thanks for the heads up. I am familiar with the rules but I most certainly make mistakes and overlook things from time to time.

We need to find out where these critters got their muskets 'cause I doubt they made them. ooc:
I had forgotten to choose my languages but considering my character's background traveling through this area and that gnol is available to half-orcs I guess I will do the metagame option of speaking gnoll. :D
If a problem, just let me know. Note: base languages> common, orc bonus from intelligence> draconic, gnoll Basically, Darius is going to attempt to disarm one of the gnolls and take that AoO, hoping to not get put down when he does so.
dfFF$$%%#@!!!
Darius moves toward the closest gnoll and attempts to disarm it, leaving himsejf open for a counter. disarm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

The BAB (or base attack bonus) for a bard is +0 at first level.
The base saves at first level for a normal bard are Fort +0, Ref +2, Will +2, taken from the chart on the link.
Another useful link: d20 pfsrd character creation outline Also: It is generous of Paizo to post this stuff so I hope everyone can eventually get around to picking up the books you use. :D /end game plug

They are dangerously close now! We might need to charge real soon! ...Darius states while eyeing his saber. He then quickly reloads his crossbow and looks for a wounded gnoll to shoot, most notedly the one he previously shot if possible. Then he fires. light crossbow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
I can't imagine this vermin has figured out how to make guns on their own and I also highly doubt they could have taken a shipment with the guard it would have had. I'm think' maybe someone is arming them and I don't like that thought much.
half-orc gunslinger 2
Silas, I'm just gonna start shooting these guys with my crossbow til they get up a closer, then blast them with my pistol. Let me know if you want something different. With that, Darius loads and aims his crossbow mechanics: light crossbow to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 damage 1d8 ⇒ 2 in event of a natural 19-20
light crossbow to hit 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 damage 1d8 ⇒ 7 edit note: should have been +5
