Damrang swallows sickly, turning slightly pale before going back to his drink.

"Yes, much of the world. Freedom is wonderful."

Freedom I may never know again. Stuck down here like this poor bastard, fading to nothing.

Damrang stays behind with Vhailor. Although he is uneasy in these surroundings he is also loathe to leave one of their number alone.

"What is the best kind of dangerous then?"

The kind that isn't a danger to you?

Damrang chuckles.

"That'll start them off on the right foot Vhail."

Looking into his empty pint glass, Damrang casts about for the barkeep.

"Another tankard of" warm moose urine "your fine ale please."

I've thought about it but I'd want to make sure I have enough material to keep people interested, and the time to do it.

Damrang leaves most of his gear and armor in their dwelling, however his waraxe and thieves tools remain on his person.

Damrang sighs at this explanation.

"I was raised to hate all of this, and now my town is held captive by the enemies of the people I am forced to work for. You'll understand if it's a bit much. Let us see to our quarters and then explore this district."

Little matter, they already have my soul.

Like a man defeated, Damrang jabs the device into his palm before throwing it in his pouch.

Damrang says nothing, still in shock that his life has ended so quickly.

In theory the Flameslingers might be in control of the town now if Obadiah blew the whistle on them, assuming he even made it there. Nobody there would really have the power to stop them taking over.

Yeah, some new gear is in order for Damrang as well. His primary goal will be Iadenveigh, although I'm picturing a Fallout I style ending for Damrang on that front.

"I accounted for the zombies, Salvin took care of the hyena, necromancer, and Vhailor. The necromancer near had us."

Damrang quickly loots the corpses after potions are consumed.

Damrang spits on the zombies before limping to Salvin, dragging Odol as he goes.

"Have we healing?"

Gazing down on the necromancer.

"Should take his head quick and get out of here before he's missed."

Looking at my stat block I realize I made a bad error. I'm updating it now to fix this problem, but my AC should only be listed as 15, since I had my Dorn-dergar out not my waraxe/shield combo. I'll take two more arrows and may not be standing to make this attack.

Damrang stows his weapons and climbs down the ladder, keeping his eyes open for traps and trouble.

"I'll take the tobacco as well, that's probably worth some money and will help down the line. We should travel light, the potions, scrolls, keys, and spell books make sense, no time for the weapons and armor."

Damrang fits the potion in hit belt and then prepares to descend.

"Anybody else hurt before we go farther?"

My posting will be a little off/on starting tomorrow afternoon, I'm going in for elective eye surgery and while I'm sure the painkillers will have me feeling smurfy I won't be allowed to strain my eyes for a few days.

Round 5 was checking on Vhailor, once I've established he's stable I'll head towards the remaining combat.

Seeing Vhailor safe, Damrang begins hauling his weapons closer to the action, not trusting his aim in the chaotic melee.
