This is William, this is the Alias I'm using, but it has not been changed or altered in any way... so this is no reflection of what the finished product will be.
Loving all the creativity, just running low on martial classes I see
so you need martial classes? no problem. I'll be right back with yet another subission I've already had two charicters on this board, what harm is a third?
That was interesting. I just had a very suggestive post-off with my kitsune female... It was almost disastrous. And it was in recruitment as well! I guess this just helps display how well I can RP my kitsune :P
Dagori, who is ever silent, chuckles at himself silently. Dakash and her word stressing. this female is curious, she is he thought. He nods at her, taking the effort to heart. When she turned and spoke to Khere, Dagori made sure to watch them speak. He then turned to Khere and signaled that he understood the rules.
hopefully they get it. It's no harder than trying to read the lips of a dragon...
Dagori pulled out his spear and began to clean it with a soft rag. He kept his eyes on his partners and made sure no one was missing.
being neutral good,Dagori basically lives life by these rules
Just curious here but why did you go with the deaf curse?
And also why is the Church of Cayden Caliean curious about archaeology in Osirion? Just curious.
blind would be useless (I already have DV60ft) and the other cursess just didn't feel like the right one.
I saw more benefits with deaf than any other. First, all my spells are silent without any increase in level. Second, I gain scent, tremorsense 30ft, and a bonus to perception not based on sound. Third, it seems like an interesting idea for RP.
But it's all cool, Dagori probably wouldn't give that away the first time he met anyone. You'd only realize it when something loud happened and he didn't react to it.
Based on being born with it, penalties probably are reduced to -2 instead of -4. Besides the auto fail to sound.
Dagori possibly confused anyone who asked him why he came. He would have gestured and barked confusing words out. But he makes it clear he wants to help. Any way he can :)
I'm sorry, I was enthralled by undertale, (so awesome). I get one of the CLW wands, but I can also cast the spell(and silently too),it always helps to have such a wand.
Okay Dagori is a well kept Gnoll with an obvious limp and with some well kept equipment, and a pack horse. He is kind and loving, very generous. He doesn't have much extra gold simply because he gave it to any poor he found.
Dagori would likely have been met standing outside a bar or inside buying everyone drinks, even though he doesn't drink himself.
He my take what you say wrong, but he can infact understand you.
In case you didn't check, since Dagori was raised by a dragon, I gave him the rich parents trait. To be honest, it should not effect much. I could have easily eaked more out of less. I dropped the extra, as to show that all of the items where directly from his parent's hoard.
I'm going to say where I want Dagori to go and plans for RP.
Because he is deaf, most of his dialogue will be distorted or as gestures. He'll mostly be an offensive healer. He'll use his spells mostly for healing, but will throw an attack spell out when he can spare it. He has good knowledge, but probably won't use much of it for out of combat. He has a spear and shield, but will be mostly defensive in combat.
Socially, he is not very adept. Although he is kind, he doesn't react to things very well. He often misunderstands things and makes mistakes.
He will be motivated by a "spirit" that appears in his dreams. The spirit is a molelvolent being who grants Dagori his powers. It is there simply to replace the god that he would gain power from otherwise.
Here is the explanation as to why he isn't evil, as well as his origin
backstory:
Dagori was born with a broken leg and as deaf and silent as the dead. He was abandoned by his parents, who gave him to the tribe's shawman. The shawman saw his broken leg, and how he didn't respond to the world's sounds. She saw this and asked the spirits what to do. They told her to leave Dagori at an alter to the Salamander.
He was left there overnight, to see what would happen. During the night, a young copper dragon who was exploring his newly claimed territory found the alter and the child. Feeling sorry for the child he took it in. The dragon raised Dagori from a pup and taught him how to speak even though he was deaf.
Then when Dagori became of age, he began showing powers of divine origin. The dragon recognized this and began to teach Dagori what he could. Soon Dagori was visited in his dreams by a being of fire and was told he was important to it. He was told to go out, travel, and find his destiny. Dagori felt the being ment well, and he was filled with joy, for it was the first time he had ever actually "heard" a voice.
Leaving the copper dragon was worrying, but Dagori was resolute in his mind. So he left his adopted father and traveled the land, using guidance from his spirit guardian to hone his powers
I'd also like to apply Dagori here, he is a gnoll Oracle who has left his tribe. I need to get his stats, story, and such up and done. He will be blind most likely.
